The tea flavor was strong, it had a nice balance of sweet/tartness. 4.5/5 * Honeydew milk tea- it wasn't awful but it wasn't good either. The drink was powdery & chalky which is a thumbs down for me. The tea flavor was also nonexistent. 2/5 * Mango tea- very strong tea flavor which I like. I'm not really a fan of them adding lime into this drink because it makes it too sour. 3.8/5 * OG milk tea- I think this is their signature drink unfortunately I wasn't a fan of it. It was a little watered down & tasted like chocolate milk with no tea at all. If you like chocolate milk, then this drink is for you. 2.5/5 Overall it was a decent experience. Drive the 2 minutes down the road to Mama Lee and get better quality food and service. To the ***OWNER***: You have some horrible employees working there. My daughter and I walked in 7/3/25 and the little white boy working with Pattie (name on the receipt) go to the back and I hear Pattie say this is a lot of food. I then hear the little boy say, "That's a lot of oil for fried rice!" I couldn't make out what Pattie said but then I hear the little boy yell out, "Screw them, it's their fault they ordered so much food." I was appalled! He walked out of the dirty ass kitchen of yours (those curtains are NASTY), and I confront him and I asked him what did he just say? He proceeded to lie to me and said, "Oh we just said that's a lot of food". I said, no, you said, "Screw them, it's their fault they ordered so much food". I then told that little boy to go get Pattie to come give me a refund. She comes out from the kitchen and I told her since you guys want to say screw us and are upset about making food off this menu you can refund me and don't have to make it any more. She then said it'll be 3 business days to go back to my card. I said that's fine. You can give me a receipt showing me my card has been refunded. HORRIBLE and after seeing how dirty and stinky the restroom is and how dirty the kitchen is as I walked by it, and then this rude ass little white boy, we will not be coming back and you can be sure I'm telling all my friends and family about this. If you don't want to serve customers or food, WHY do you have food on your menu? And little boy: If you don't want to do the job you were hired to do, then WHY ARE YOU WORKING THERE? My boyfriend and I came to do some work but there were quite a few middle schoolers stopping here on their afternoon bike ride and hanging out- not fit if you need a quiet place. We got a og coffee and a thai tea. The og coffee was very thick and hard to drink. We had to wait for the ice to melt and dilute it. We got the thai tea half sweet and it was alright, tasted like normal thai tea nothing too special. (3/5) I've never tried popcorn chicken here so I tried that. I agree with one reviewer that it's salty. The black pieces especially. I was handed ranch with them. However, I'm not a ranch person. Out of the three sauces they offered (ranch, ketchup, and sweet chili), sweet chili sauce was the best. The crispness was good. I think it'd be comparable with other places if it's just the seasoned orange ones with sweet chili. (3/5) I noticed people kept coming up to ask for ketchup. The Watermelon Mojito is a watermelon strawberry slush that I thought could be too sweet and ended up being light and refreshing. Their popcorn chicken and Cajun fries were also a hit. It was a little further drive for me than expected, but I had wanted to try this place for some time, so since I was off of work today, I decided to head there to try. I find the interior decorations a mess. They got ice decorations on the ceiling, lucky cats, paintings and butterflies on the wall, etc. The chairs they have were very nice and beautiful, but they got a wall where customers can write all over which messes up the classy ambience that it could've had. I understand it is to let customers feel they are part of the place and to feel welcome but it's kind of an eyesore as well. Customer service was decent. The girl working there was very polite and nice. I also got 10% off just for checking in. What really pushed my rating to four stars is the drink I had which is the regular tapioca cream milk tea. They really got the flavor of the cream milk tea just right. I'm usually not a fan of cream milk tea but hands down, this is equal to or even slightly better than the regular cream milk tea at Teahouse. My mom also enjoyed her avocado smoothie. The tapioca balls were good, but it's not the best tapioca balls I've tasted at other places. The taste of the drink just overrides everything. They also offer stamp cards. I was recommended this place, and I am very pleased! I came at about 2 pm on a Sunday. The place had a steady amount of customers coming in and out, but it was still peaceful enough. I used their free, fast wifi and got some work done on my computer. When I go to a new boba place, I ALWAYS get the original milk tea. In my opinion, trying the most basic item will determine if I come back to try something more "unique." They have a very extensive menu and a lot of toppings offered. I was very impressed! There's something for everyone. Their milk tea was amazing! The taste was close to perfect (perfect to me is milk tea boba I tried in the Philippines btw - high bar). It's a really nice boba tea place on New Territory and 99 that offers a good place to study and chill when you're craving really good drinks/food. It's just a part of the shopping strip next to the (now closing) Randell's. Each table (except the big group one) has a power outlet if you need to charge your electronic devices/laptops. There's one slight con about this teahouse though... Every weekday around the time the middle schoolers/elementary school students get out it gets super packed (and some of those kids are really rowdy...). It doesn't really die down afterwards till about 5:30 - 6-ish. Now on to the food, the food is awesome. Even though I don't really like spicy food, they do manage to turn the heat down for you if you can't tolerate it. Calamari is definitely my favorite food paired with a great Milk Tea or Smoothie. Hands down really awesome. The people there are super nice and they offer nursing student discounts if you show your ID/badge to them. While they close at 9 pm every day (7pm on Mondays). Heading out around lunch time my son and I walked into this place to only find out that they didn't have sandwich bread or cucumbers to make the sandwiches and the owner I suppose, said he would run out to get it if we could wait. Located in the same center as the Randall's near New Territory there is plenty of parking and other options to eat if you just want to have a Boba drink or smoothie! The prices are very reasonable and the people were very friendly! Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try anything. They had a busy morning so they didn't have all they needed to make sandwiches. Understandable. We'll catch them another time! The decor inside is very nice! According to the owner they have been open since July and it seems like it would be a fun place to hang out with your friends to enjoy a Boba and free Wifi! They have this Fun Wall where you can leave your mark and it was covered! Nice music playing in the background the seating was plentiful and comfortable! It's just nice to know they have a Boba place so close to where we live. Now we don't have to travel all the way to Chinatown on Bellaire for a tapioca drink! Previously named Rayly Teahouse, I guess they changed ownership? Decor is much more modern and cute. Although, this place could use a little bit more lighting. There's an adequate amount of seating, which would be a good study spot. I really enjoyed the mural along the barista counter wall. So whimsical and dreamy. I haven't been to this teahouse in forever. So, I just wanted to try their most popular drink, the OG milk tea. Creamy and just enough tea flavor. But, I think it still can't compare to Boba Zone. But, if I wanted someplace convenient for milk tea that doesn't require me to drive to Chinatown, this spot is a nice alternative. My bro and sis seemed to enjoy their teas. I tried a couple sips of my bro's Matcha Thai tea. It was way too floral for my liking, the combination of teas didn't work for me. Otherwise, I'll give them another go next time. At first I was like "whoa" because I'm not used to milk teas having much tea flavor, but I actually really liked it once I wrapped my mind around it. Rayly's milk tea is in my opinion just the right sweetness. Not overly sweet, but just right -- if you're the type of person who typically asks for reduced sweetness in your milk tea, I'd suggest trying their standard sweetness and then adjusting future orders as needed because I think it was fine as-is.
