I came here one Saturday about a little over 2 weeks ago and Hannah did my nails and she is such a perfectionist. She is always making sure the nails are filed correctly and just looking it's best. I came today and Mary did my fill. She was so friendly and knows how to hold a conversation. Mary was the same as Hannah making sure the nails are filed correctly and just taking her time which I love. She doesn't do any designs but I am so glad that Mary did my nails with just professionalism and making sure I liked my nails. Also, I am currently 6 months pregnant and I couldn't get to my toes anymore after the 5th month. Hahahaha My husband refused to cut them. Good salon since my polish did last about a month without chipping. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure at a decent price. The place does have a lot of parking as there's parking in the back, but it is in a small plaza that could be easily missed. The salon wasn't busy when I stopped by- I would still recommend scheduling and appointment just in case. Honestly I've been coming here for a couple years now since it's down the street from my house, but lately the service and the quality of nails has been slacking! Bubbly nails, crooked nails, laziness and refusal to remove and fix disliked nails..I don't know what happened. This last time is what made me annoyed though. i went two days ago for a regular pedi, asked to remove any oncoming ingrowns (didn't have any painful ones coming in) and she's digging into one of my toes till it was bleeding non stop, I was told it was normal, it didn't feel normal, but i decided to give it the benefit of the doubt.. The next day it's SWOLLEN and purple. Today after work, there was pus coming out my toe, and extremely painful. Lucky me, my mom used to be a nail artist so i had to go to her to check my toe, she saw that my ingrown was CREATED by the lady, not prevented, on a perfectly fine toe to begin with. Nancy does a great job with powder dip manicures, so I would recommend making an appointment with her. She is very thorough and you can tell she is a perfectionist and cares about the end result. i came in with an aged gel pedicure, and for some reason i had to tell them to soak off my polish? the protocol for gel is to soak it off. why are you using a drill? i proceeded to ask her "you guys don't soak off gel here?" she said "we do, but the drill is faster" i answered "yea it's faster, but it's worse for my nail" is the goal to do your job faster, or correctly? I don't know why that should be a debate when you're in the service industry. when she went to soak it off, she didn't even adhere it to my nail properly causing the soak off to not even work. neither did she actually give it time to soak, again causing the soak off to not work. then showed distress as to why the gel isn't coming off. maybe if you did it properly it would work! i'm so confused honestly. she ended up just drilling the gel off even though i asked her not to. then came time for the callous remover. she put the product in the bag to apply it through plastic, i assume to avoid touching the agent itself? but this caused her to not apply it anywhere on my foot she should have, she wrapped the plastic around my foot and i could feel the remover only on my ankle which is completely useless. and if it's so scary to have the callous remover anywhere other than a callous (why else would she be scared to use her gloved hands to apply it correctly), why is it okay for it to be on my ankle? this whole process was very selfish and not in favor of a customer whatsoever. i have a broken nail, and asked they fix it with a little powder. i told her don't put acrylic on my whole toe, i just want you to fix that broken nail as it had broke too short to cut or avoid my nerve. she kept adding more and more powder. it got to point where i said why are you putting powder like that? i asked you to fix my nail not to apply an acrylic toe. "you don't want it like that?" NO! I SAID THAT TO BEGIN WITH! why is it so hard to simply accommodate your paying guest for what they specifically asked for????? there were FOUR different people who sat down to do my nails. wth is that. this is by far the absolute worst pedicure i have ever received in my life. and i've been getting pedicures for 12 years. I hate that I am always the bi**h in a nail shop for simply requesting they do their job properly. I just moved to hb and was looking for a new place, and this one had good reviews. whoever left those reviews either was paid to do so or is so unaware of how their nails are supposed to be taken care of. maybe if the result were nice, okay, but a service is so much more than that. at least the five min massage felt nice. read more

Disappointed. My cuticles are really cut up and the sides of my fingers have deep cuts. Woman was really rough on my hands and left me all cut up (see photos) Also, I chose a pink gel color off the gel charts that they have and was given OPI bubble bath (I didn't notice till 3 nails in and just said screw it and accepted it). I asked several times for a certain nail shape and the lady kept saying yea and they were square (I reshaped them myself at home) Only 2 stars go to this young man maybe in his 20's who took his time and gave me a great pedicure (see photos) Won't be back sadly read more

I made an appointment here because a friend recommended it and it was so close to my work. The salon itself seems very clean and the choice of colors is the perfect amount! Not too many to choose from that it's overwhelming and not too small a selection either. The atmosphere was super calming too! I love all the little waterfalls and music playing in the background. Came here on Tuesday to get a fill with gel and a pedi. Everyone was really nice and everything was clean. I was excited that I found a new nail spot and for 40% off because of the grand opening I was stoked. I was getting bored with going to my regular nail lady. I WAS always getting my nails done. I was on a 4 month streak and then I came here. Anyways. I got a fill my nails were horrible. The First Lady "L"was so rude. She was bothered that I complained about my nails. I even tipped her. They were so bad there was NO way I was going to not say anything. They redid my nails. Lady "L" was "snatching" my hands and filed them down with the drill. She kept saying better now you happy now. Omg I was fuming. I was moved to another chair to get my nails redone. She removed everything and did a new set. She was "the best one" there. My nails separated from the acrylic not even a day later. The started to chip on the edges. I decided to rip my nails off. My nails were filed down so much (because the did my nails twice) that I can't use hot or cold water anymore. They BURN. I still can't get 2 nails off. I swear one of them is lifting my actual nail. Never coming here again. NEVER. Only gave 3 stars because Joann who did my toes was so nice and did a great job. read more

They have plenty of refreshments and who doesn't love free champagne while you're getting a mani/pedi!!! All the ladies are so sweet and made sure I was happy and comfortable the whole time! First time I stopped in to get my acrylic nails done, we did start running out of time and they had to close the shop, they still took their time and stayed to give me beautiful nails. I drove around looking for an open salon on a Sunday morning the first two were not even open when their posted hours said they were. Alpha nails is spacious and CLEAN. This place is always a good experience, which is a big deal to me because I don't get time alone. I have two young babies so I put my nails through the ringer and my basic manicure with polish still lasts 5 days. And, also because I have littles, I can't come in that often and my pedicure will last almost three weeks. I bring my own Morgan Taylor polish because I'm weird, but they are so good at what they do all of the women have given me my longest lasting nails. Plus, they are all nice and funny. Went in this morning for my first time to get a fill with gel and a regular pedicure. I have absolutely no complaints ! I was sat down immediately . The staff was friendly , welcoming , and made sure I liked every part of nails. I was even offered something to drink and there was snacks over by the waiting area ! They had tons of colors to choose from as well! They didn't try to up sell their services (which is always a plus) and even put a nail builder on my toe nail to make them stronger ! I wouldn't recommend this place. A dear friend of mine just had her nails done (gel first time) and paid $35 and just didn't like the way the gel color looked so I encouraged her to go back and ask them to change the color. Wow! I never imagined they would give such a negative response ...it was awful. I had to help her by reminding them that she just paid for this full set a day ago and didn't like the way the gel color came out, and asked kindly to change it. Manager said ok and sent someone to do color change but this lady told us that she would change color but now it won't be gel ...now it will be regular polish. I thought that was a waste of her $35 she just paid extra for the gel but she took what they would give her. I did not stay... I get better service at my nail place, and my place would never make someone feel bad for coming back like this manager and would never charge you for a simple correction.
