First time at this shop and my tech was a lady wearing a roller in her hair. The owner/manager was extremely nice and cared about whether I liked the color that she put together for me. She was amazing! However the nail tech not so much. She didn't speak to me, talk or respond. She grunted as though maybe her English was not good. She didn't get all the gel off my nails and had put them in the bowl to soften started the manicure process when I asked her if she was going to remove the gel? She seemed agitated but applied the chemical that eats the gel off and started to buff. I had to ask her to put my hands back in the water to at least remove the chemical as a wet wash cloth wasn't enough. She never cleaned under my nails!! I knew something was wrong with her expertise and decided her tip would be less than average. I gave her a small tip and tipped the owner who passed the tip to her! I was so disappointed! I thought I found another nail shop but I can't go back to a shop that takes shortcuts and is not thorough! I hope the owner sees this and provides coaching to the tech. I found this salon by complete chance and was so glad I did! Parking is very easy in a large public lot. The salon opens at 9:00am. I got there shortly after 9:00 and was surprised to see the salon full of customers! Always a great sign. Lynn greeted me and sat me in a cozy chair right away. Because they were full I had to wait for my service which I didn't mind, I was a walk in client. Lynn took care of me herself. I found out that she is the owner. I have been to New Nails since it was Dam Nails and have always been treated very well. I went on Friday to have a manicure and pedicure - cost me 82 with the tip. Today the polish is just peeling off of my nails. I went in to talk to Dam and he told me, "Nail polish never last!" I asked if he was willing to repolish my nails and he said no. The atmosphere is really calm, friendly, and they usually have a show from Netflix playing in the background. It really pains me to write bad reviews but I just can't get over the fact of how much my 4 year old daughter HATES her nails and I'd have to say I don't blame her as this was the worst pedicure experience for me as well. I promised my daughter for a whole 2 weeks that we'd have a special nail day when we have time. I searched all over yelp to try to find a nail salon with a kids chair because I wanted her to feel special. I called on Sunday and they said they weren't busy and to come in and so my daughter was so excited. We get there and get greeted and do it was off to a good start. We picked our colors and my daughter got the mani pedi kids combo (with free design as stated in their brochure) and I got the most expensive pedicure they offered because WHY NOT! The initial process started out great- they gave us little water bottles and my daughter was enjoying her leg scrub. I was sitting soaking my feet waiting for my lady as she was occupied getting the previous clients she worked on bill together. Which is fine I like to soak my feet a little longer anyways. She then finally gets to me and starts my pedicure. Everything was Okay minus the fact that I told her to cut my big toe nails down a little more. She only did one of the toes so now my two big toes have two diff nail lengths ‍ THEN my issues started when it was time to paint. I asked the lady doing my daughters nails if she can do a specific design (I showed her a pic that my daughter picked out which was a design of Candy corn) she said she could so I was fine until she started talking to the older lady who was doing MY pedicure about the design. Stating to her that it had too many colors and then telling me my daughter toenails were too small for the design. I told her the design doesn't have to be on every toe JUST the big toes. She then went off to do the design and my nail lady was working on still finishing up the leg scrub and massage part of the pedicure. My daughter was then done with her nails and I peeked over and I was just irritated from what I saw. Mind you it was starting to get super hot and there were no cross breeze or fans going or ac so I was starting to sweat a lot which did not help my current mood. The lady literally painted ugly triangles on my kids feet and filled it with gold glitter. ‍ because she was too lazy to pull out all 3 colors that was needed. Then the lady doing my feet asked me if I wanted design she will make it really nice. I literally said no just black paint with one overlay of glitter polish. She came back and painted my big toe HALF WHITE AND HALF BLACK then took a toothpick and did some weird swirl. And this was only one layer of paint NOT two which means my paint would prob chip off faster than my other toes. Her design and the white color choice did not match my other black toes with glitter so I eventually told her I didn't like the design. She said "no problem" and literally instead of removing all the paint and re doing it... she PAINTED OVER the white. Now my big toes are uneven AND the paint isn't smooth looking but rather grainy. Then, when they started to get more customers my nails lady rushed everything at the end to get to them. Now usually when I'm done the person doing my nails would bring me a bill. I SAT in the hot chair for a good 5-10 min before I had to ask if someone can give me a bill. So $35 for my pedicure and they tried charging me $30 for my kid's nails. I told her it's $25 she tried arguing with me that because my kid got designs it was an extra $5. I then had to pull out their menu brochure and point to and show her where it says free designs for kids. The owner then stepped in and told the person ringing me up that kid's nails always came with free design. I finally paid $60 for just me and my daughter and now im already looking to get ANOTHER pedicure Bc I just was not satisfied with mine and I hate how messy it turned out. She didn't even freakin clean the paint smears or anything with acetone and brush. ‍ AND I have to re do my kid's nails Bc let's be honest they look hideous. Usually I would say soemthing but because it was so hot and I was already irritated I just wanted to leave ASAP and that's why I'm here writing this long review. Like Seriosuly IF YOU CANT do a specific design THEN JUST SAY SO!! Why lie? And to think she really tried charging me an extra $5 for that crap. ‍‍ read more

I found this place on Yelp after my usual spot was booked. I'm so glad I found it! It's my new fav! Rosie took care of my acrylic fill and I said I wanted sparkles and she recommended a beautiful color I didn't find. She then recommended a different color on my ring finger and thumb and it looked so cute the lady next to me complimented them! She was so nice and we talked and talked which I prefer. And Amy, who did my toe nails gave me a strong foot massage and was so careful how she painted my nails.
