I am seriously so upset with my experience at this place. My friend previously went here to get an eyebrow piercing and had a great experience with "Matt". However, I showed up to get a piercing and was met with unprofessionalism. Matt had talked to me like I was a child. Completely dehumanizing me and making me feel uncomfortable. Though their prices are low, I'd rather spend 100 more dollars at a different place for the same piercing where i'd get treated like a PERSON and not a child. Piercer Matt has poor customer service. I wanted to get my 16 yr old a piercing for 1 ear. After providing our ID's Matt gave us unsolicited advice on how I should've gave my son my last name. Which insulted me and is extremely unprofessional and rude. He continued on trying to explain how it's common to do. I explained to him that's it's my family's tradition but he kept on. Leaving a sour taste in my opinion. After the service, my son wanted the matching earring for his other ear. Matt informed us that he had to order it, and once it arrives he would give us the earring free of charge, due to the interaction regarding me and my son's last name. But when the earring arrived he said he never told us the earring was free. Very poor communication skills. read more

I made a spontaneous appointment with Matte to have my septum piercing done. I explained to him over the phone that I was extremely excited but also nervous because I had always wanted this piercing but never worked up the nerve to get it. He assured me that the process is quick and easy and that he would explain easy step as we went along. He also explained pricing and that he was a wound care specialist and would take every precaution necessary to ensure that the experience was smooth. The day of my appointment, I had a sudden emergency and Matte was patient enough to push my appointment back without charge. When arrived, I first spoke to the owner. Other reviews mentioned that she was not very kind, but this was not my experience at all. She was very sweet, congratulated me for finally deciding to get the piercing and she welcomed me back anytime. After a few minutes I was brought to Matte. He turned on his carousel display case and allowed me to browse the septum piercings. I decided on surgical steel to start and after paying for the piercing, we went off to his studio in the back. I will admit that I was super nervous, but as I watched him gently and carefully sterilize each piece and constantly change his gloves as he went along, my confidence was restored and I knew I had made the right decision. The piercing wasn't entirely painful, it felt like being kicked in the nose, but it was a temporary pain. Once it was completed, I had the horseshoe flipped up, was instructed on aftercare and gives a pamphlet with further instructions and I was done! I am 100% satisfied with my experience and I will definitely be back for a fancier ring once my piercing is fully healed! Thank you Matte! read more

I came here to have my earrings changed, and it was super painless and fast :) I chose this shop because the piercer here is an APP piercer, and they accept outside jewelry which is nice. It's clean inside and they're able to sterilize your jewelry before you put it on too. The piercer isn't super personable, but he's kind enough and knowledgeable. They have a decent variety of quality jewelry too The only thing I would say is that it's Christian piercing/tattoo shop (which makes sense with the name), so there's certain imagery that they will not work with if you're interested in getting tattoos here. I'm glad there's an APP piercer in the area because these are the only professionals I go to and each have been extremely great experiences. I came here yesterday because I had an irritation bump on my nose piercing that I had gotten somewhere else and I wanted it to be seen by a professional piercer to see how I can fix it. Matte checked it out when I came in and said the metal of my piercing was causing the irritation, but I had to schedule an appointment first for him to be able to change it out. I was able to schedule an appointment the same day, just about 2 hours later. He's amazing and understanding! He tells you about the quality of the piercings and aftercare. My irritation bump was pretty big, but it's already getting a lot smaller- just a day after! Matte is a credible and very professional piercer and I will be going back for future piercings. I have been going to see Jonboy at Alpha omega since last fall for my tattoos. He educated me on how a needle piercing is more sanitary and heals faster than a gun piercing ect. YUP. still one star. This time I went here out of desperation. I got a dermal done under my eye (not here) and got a new job. My new job required the jewelry piece to be taken out...immediately. I came to the shop and let them know my situation and he said he could loosen it no problem. (I don't remember the guy's name) He seemed to struggle a bit and it hurt me SOOOOO much when he loosen it off. I wanted to cry. I felt like he was doing something wrong but I figured maybe I was just a wuss. (I totally passed out when I got my dermal done) The next day I got a pimple next to my dermal. I thought it was super odd but I didn't think anything of it. The pimple didn't go away for a week, no matter how many times I popped it. FINALLY after two weeks of just leaving it alone it went away and I saw the foot of my dermal ripped out of my skin!!! It wasn't a pimple, it was infected!!!! I went back to the shop to complain and the piercer had the audacity to tell me that he didn't remember me and that I must have snagged it on my shirt or something because there was NO way he would do that just from loosening it. Are you kidding me?! I had to go get it taken completely out by another piercer at a REPUTABLE shop. This place frickin sucks!! STAY AWAY!! read more

I came into the shop to purchase jewelry and was immediately right as I walked in being asked questions about my tongue piercing that is fully healed and I have had no issues. I didn't even come in for them to look at any piercings I had. I wanted to simply buy jewelry. I felt very uncomfortable and frustrated considering I'm a grown adult and I don't need people making comments about things I've chosen to do with my body. I've got two tongue rings nipple rings tattoos from head to toe, I know how this shit goes and works. I have a snake eyes tongue ring and the front woman kept putting it down and saying how dangerous it was and how do I move my tongue around and "we don't care about what people do with their bodies but it's so dangerous why did you do that" and kept going on and on making me SO uncomfortable. I proceeded to walk to the jewelry and before I could even finished my sentence of wanting to purchase a new tongue ring they told me no they can't do that. They assumed I was going to ask him to put it in for me, at that point I didn't even want to spend my money there. Super rude super weird vibe super unprofessional. I'll never go to that shop ever again. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. No offense to the people putting 5 star reviews but you guys need to get out more and find a better shop. this was probably one of the worst experiences I've had in a tattoo/ piercing shop. read more

I've heard about their customer service before but said hey forget it let's go check it out. We came in looking for nose rings, the woman replied with such a snooty response. Basically being a smart ass with us the whole time. And directed us to the back saying "nose piercings are in the back in the display cases, that's what those display cases are for" WHAT? why did she even have to respond that way? Then the guy was annoying too, another smart ass. I would've gladly spent $60 on a nose ring because I take pride in having good and lasting jewelry. Everybody here is great. I've been here twice. Both times got tattooed by Bear. He did my cover up today. ON MY HAND!!! I came in the night before, was greeted by Lin and Bear. Super nice. I then explained what I wanted, which wasn't that complicated. Bear understood it. (Turns out Bear did my chest tattoo couple years prior. Lol I have a bad memory obviously.) And bam. Made a deposit, made a appointment for the next day. Came in, and my tattoo hurt, of course it a hand tattoo. I was bitching a little bit. Bear was super understanding and did a gnarly job.
