If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a 500.00 gift certificate for my son from Kenny. My son has tried to use the certificate on many occasions but has gotten the run around from Kenny. Now Kenny has basically ghosted him. I know for a fact gift certificates do not expire in the state of California and Kenny should have honored it. Now I would never let Kenny tattoo any part of my son. I will continue to try to get money back even if I have to take him to small claims court. It's the principal of the matter now. Its got a calm relaxing feeling to the place with a nice touch of old school to it. You arent overwhelmed with flash on the walls or books of flash. Everything seems perfectly placed to help you get inspiration for what kind of tattoo you are looking for. Joe is my artist, and my boyfriends artist. He is great at what he does and he knows the trade of tattooing. The 20 minute - 30 minute drive is worth every penny that goes toward the amazing one of a kind art work that is placed on my body. Took my 19 year old niece to get her first tattoo today. This was our first time here but we were greeted nicely and they made us feel welcome. My niece had a picture in mind of a tattoo she wanted and a price that she wanted. After showing them the picture they gave her a price that was more than she expected so it took her a minute to think about it. While she was thinking I asked for a quote and I had the exact change in my wallet so I was game. Kenny the owner said that he could do my tattoo and started setting up. By that time my niece decided to go to the ATM and get more cash for her tattoo (they only take cash) anyways Kenny asked the other guy if he could do her tattoo. Not sure if his name. My tattoo took less than 30 minutes including set up. He was really gentle and gave me his personal opinion on where I should get the tattoo on my foot. By far the best shop I have ever been to, been to two others in Vacaville and one in Davis and I will always recommend Ernie! He is the most respectful peaceful talented artist I've come across. Ernie has tattooed me on my hip and my ribs and never once was I uncomfortable. It's always quiet, few to no interruptions and always a good time. So we talked to him and he said we had to give a $60 deposit, so we gave him the deposit and a card with his name and appointment. Ryan is the best! I have gotten a few piercings done by him and won't go anywhere else! In the past I had gone to other places and had gotten infected. But Ryan sterilizes everything wears his gloves is very sanitary.He treat you with the utmost respect no matter what body part he is piercing. Recently I had to take out a piercing due to a medical procedure, they closed up almost instantly. I went in the next day because I couldn't get the rings back in and he helped me. He took me right back, he knew it was going to hurt and was very careful and gentle but still was able to get one in. He asked me to come back in a couple days after it was less tender to do the other. He definitely cares about the person he's working on. I won't go to anyone else. I read the reviews about this place and the great job Ryan does on piercings. I stopped in on a whim today not realizing they aren't usually open on Monday's. The owners were there cleaning the shop on their day off and Ryan happened to be there and was happy to pierce my nose for me. His friendly disposition put me at ease and the whole procedure was over in no time. I love my piercing and would highly recommend Ryan. The owner was apologetic about the shop not being clean. I'm particular about cleanliness and didn't see what he was referring to. I didn't catch the owners name, but he was very friendly and a cleaning machine while I was there. They are a cash only business but there is an ATM in the mini mart that shares the parking lot. To save yourself the $3.99 fee they charge to use the machine, I would recommend just getting cash in advance :) read more

I called before their scheduled time to open and Ernie still answered the phone (thank you!) he answered my questions and I was able to schedule a same-day appointment for my tattoo with him. I went in a few minutes before my appointment just in case there was paperwork. I showed him what I wanted and he went to work. I was getting a quote and the font he chose is perfect, for me. I'm pleased with the process and I was lucky enough to get a good support system too since the shop was full of very friendly people. Also, the apprentice was practicing and it was great to see how careful and detailed they are with the training of the next generation of tattooers! I got my nose pierced here and it wasn't very clean. The piercer I had was named Corey, he was very rude and was rough. It was definitely not worth the $60. He pierced it and didn't tell me aftercare, how long I should leave it in or anything. He also took forever. The jewelry came out of a plastic bin sitting on top of a shelf, wasn't packaged or anything. 10/10 don't recommended. read more

Ryan was such a great piercer! I got my Tragus pierced and right when I sat down I got nervous. He made me feel so comfortable and talked me through the whole thing. Took the time to thoroughly clean it after and told me to come back in a week or so because he likes to check and make sure it's healing correctly. So my boyfriend called before we came in we did not make an appointment we wanted to see how much dimple piercings would cost we were told it was $50 per piercing. We decided to go there because it had pretty good reviews. I had to go buy my jewelry from a different place because the said they did not have the jewellery for that type of piercing but they are able to do the piercing. I was instructed to get a 16 gauge flat back for dimples. Well i should have done a little more research on these piercings because apparently you are supposed to use a 14 gauge and not a flat back i have had my dimples in for over 2 weeks and it was so swollen due to the flat back gauge. Also beth i believe her name was had to re pierce one side because she had one way higher then the other when i had her re pierce my cheek she tried to convince me that it was fine and after her co-worker seen he also agreed that it was way off. When we left they ended up charging us $120. Also i now only have one piercing in because the second time she did it she messed up again. My cheek is now healing properly thanks to a shop i went to who took out the flat back and put in the proper jewelry. He said i can put the flat back once my cheek has healed. Also her after care instructions were horrible. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

I don't know what kind of work they do because we went there to talk to one of the artists my daughter had been speaking to before named "Kenny" and he wasn't there but the guy that was (who didn't identify himself) was a complete and total a**hole to us! I guess we "interrupted" his smoke break and pissed him off. Regardless, if that's how they treat potential new customers, I'll never go back there. So, unless you're in to being treated rude, don't waste your time with this place.
