10/4/08 - Spent over $150 this last time. I had so many clothes the gentleman even carried all of it to my car and positioned them in my front seat, lifing the head rest to put the hangers. Impressed and gracious. 1/25/08 - Nice to have a nice place near by that is friendly, fast and did great work. I had to get a dress altered and I didn't pick it up for weeks. Super sweet people. Very good turn around. Had them do alterations to a suit and a bridesmaids dress and they came out well. They are very reasonably priced. I had them do all my suits and winter coats for a while. What is keeping me from more stars is I gave them a coat that was very challenging (luckily I dont care about it that too much anymore...) It is black cotton blend with light pink pinstripes on the outside, and pale pink fur on the inside. When I got it back, the pale pink fur was tinted black. It was no longer cute. It looked muddy. Now some homeless person at goodwill is nice and stylishly warm though...a $150 one of a kind hand-made coat warm. read more

I will never be going back here. I have now been 3 times. 2/3 of these times, my clothes were lost/forgotten/not ready on time. The first time, I had actually asked the lady when was best for HER to have it ready, and she gave me a day and time. When I arrived several hours after that time, it was still not ready. She said she thought it was supposed to be ready the next day. I had to waste time for 20 minutes while she did the alteration. I figured that maybe it was a fluke, and I tried again. This time... I passed over my costume to them on Wednesday for a show I am performing in Friday (today). I made it clear that all the pieces needed to be kept together and emphasized the importance of the items I was entrusting to their care. I was told it would be ready on Thursday afternoon. I was ridiculously busy at work on Thursday, so I called Friday morning and asked how late they were open to see if I could come get it after work before my performance in the evening. I was told she COULD NOT FIND my costume, and she asked me 1) to call back in a few minutes and 2) if I could pick it up TOMORROW. Unbelievable. Yes, I became agitated and told her she needed to find it right away and that I would not wait, considering a paying audience was coming to see me in this costume. She then made some comment about how she couldn't find it because, "I just have so many clothes." REALLY? Last I checked, dry cleaners always have a lot of clothes and it is their job to keep track of them. Period. Luckily, the costume was found and all is fine. However, I am appauled at the lack of professionalism of this place and will never be returning. read more

Ahhhh, another drycleaning spot owned/ran by my peoples *koreans* So sure my review may be a bit bias because 1. I can speak enough korean to them for them to give me extra smiles and talk to me everytime I go in. 2. The speaking korean = me getting my drycleaning done super quick (even though I normally pick up my laundry a month later!) Verdict: Prices are legit, my clothes are always dry cleaned properly, and they recycle their hangers. Awesomeness just down the street. read more

This place was fantastic! It was my first visit last week (Thursday) to get some slacks altered and a blouse dry cleaned. After an absolutely awful experience at the Dry Cleaning Station earlier in the week, I was nervous! But the woman who helped me was extremely friendly, professional and quick! She took my measurements in a matter of seconds and told me I could pick them up Tuesday! What!? I didn't have to wait eight days!? OK! When I came in to pick them up early this morning (Tuesday), they were done, and correctly! The slacks fit perfectly!! And to top it off, their prices were great! We did all our dry cleaning here for 7 years, and never had a bad experience. Everything was always spotless and crisp. And we brought in a LOT of suits, shirts and dresses. She did a fantastic job with a cat-pee-damaged favorite silk top, while being very honest about the limits on it first. Family-owned business, very friendly to all their customers. I always got a helping hand to the car with big loads, or an umbrella. Gina had our name and number memorized, and always had a smile for us. She was really sad and gave me a big hug when we moved. I had tried several different places before I picked this one - if I remember, Alpine's prices were very competitive, if not slightly lower. Also, I liked that they were conveniently located next to the Safeway so I could get my groceries done too in one stop. read more

I don't have to do much Dry cleaning myself but occasionally I take my boyfriend's dress shirts here. I like that they are right by Safeway as I generally need to make a grocery store visit while out and about. Also, there is always plenty of parking and the shopping center is pretty nice considering this area is hit or miss as far as a feeling of safety goes. The prices are pretty good too, it was $27 for a suit, 5 dress shirts and a pair of slacks. Today I picked up my dry cleaning and stapled to the bag was a $20 bill that had been left in a pocket. WOW! They could have totally snaked that and we may have never known! Great people! Will definitely go here for all my dry-cleaning needs. read more

This place is great! and I absolutely adore the Korean couple who own the place. I come here to get my jeans hemmed all the time and its average price of $10 a pair is okay by me. I've also gotten a dress re-hemmed as well because I thought it was too long and she gave me a small discount for it too (normally she would have charged $30 but gave it to me for 25)! The material of the dress was difficult to work with but being a loyal customer has its perks, plus it was done super quick!!! She also threw in a free lint roller to my pick up during the holidays :) It was a bit of a drive for me to go there but that just tells you how much its worth! I wouldn't trust any other place with my clothes. read more

She fixed my Seven Jeans for $10! Friggin awesome! So anyways, I think my fat thighs rub together to much when I walk and it created a hole next to my inner thigh. I thought my favorite jeans were history. I couldn't bear to throw them away so they've been tuck away in my closet for almost a year. Many pair of Seven Jeans later, I decided, "Hey. Lemme see if they can fix my jeans at Alpine somehow." Good thing I tried, because I brought them down there and the nice lady at the counter said, "I fixey with patch and little stitchey. Look new. Ok?" I then asked, "How much?" "$10" she replies. My mouth drops and I say sure! Now waiting for 2 days in anticipation, I wondered what the finished product would look like. Would I be able to tell? Would other people notice? Hmmmm... So finally the day comes to pick up the healed jeans. She takes them out and shows them to me. HOLY CRAP! She saved my $150 jeans for $10 bucks! I think I now owe a "life debt" to the nice lady at Alpine Cleaners. BTW - I also go here for all my dry cleaning and alterations... Very cheap and very good. read more

Well, let's just say that business must be really good to dismiss my service. I needed to have my cocktail dress dry cleaned. This was a last thing, so I needed before Monday. I went there on a Friday morning, they said they couldn't do it on time and said, "sorry". And out went I to find a place that would value me as a costumer. read more

I took a blouse in for laundering. Make-up stain on the collar which I pointed out, and we discussed removal of...I got the blouse back with make-up stain intact, and an explanation about how they tried, but the stain was permanent. So I took it home and sprayed Shout on the stain, figuring if the blouse was stained, I wouldn't be able to wear it again anyway - so I tossed it into the washing machine, and it came out spotless. No stain at all, a quick ironing and I can wear my beautiful blouse again. So, maybe this was a fluke, I thought, and took my king-sized comforter to them for dry-cleaning. A week later, the stains were still there, and it smelled like my house, not their chemicals. I demanded they keep it to actually clean it. A week later, they had clearly refolded it and stuck it back into the bag without any cleaning. Now I'm looking for a cleaner that actually cleans things. And the "Lovely little Korean couple"? don't speak much english, so transacting with them is difficult. read more

Two days ago I got my $200 "Theory" pants from this dry cleaner. On the lap I noticed several holes that looked like they were burned out. I brought them back and they told me it is not there fault, it is the manufacturer's material that is bad and i didn't notice that the holes were there before. First, this is not the first time I bring the pants to this particular dry cleaners and they were returned fine before. Second, this last time I noticed a small spot exactly where it is ruined now, she looked at it and put some tape on this spot, stating that it should be looked at more thoroughly. It means that she saw that there were no holes before that. I suppose that they put some stronger chemicals on this spot which ruined it. So what is terrifying is not that they ruin clothes, but they don't even admit it, when it is so obvious, thinking that I will not go any further with it. This is so frustrating that I will have to go to the small claims court with it, just to let them know, they will not get away with it like that!!! read more
