Through both the inspection estimate and work done, Brian, the Envirotek tech, always had a smile on his face and a positive, can-do attitude. He was consistently helpful and friendly as he answered all of my many, many (new to having a septic tank) questions, and was happy to answer more, if needed. Having already approved the estimate, we were prepared to pay that amount, if not more. To our surprise, the invoice we received was one-third of the estimate, which I can only attribute to their efficiency and honesty. The value of their company is displayed through the thoroughness of their work. Their love for their customers is shown through the positive attitude they bring to the job. No response. I called the Dept of Sanitation. They called him and he cannot find the inspection reports/records. I did get hold of Rudy once, mention my concern about no inspections reports being filed and my wanting a $390 refund. He was leaving the hospital so I cut him some slack and was to call a week later. Over the last two months, I have called three times, leave voicemails, now have been sending text messages to his mobile phone per his website. No return calls or messages. I called to schedule a pumping and inspection for my septic for my house that was being sold. The lady I spoke to scheduled us for both services for the second week of January. She even sent a text confirming the type of appointment and date. Fast forward, I called the day prior to our appointment to find out the time they would arrive and she somehow said she was under the impression we didn't need a pumping. I told her that is not the case and that I told her what was needed when we scheduled the appointment. Instead of her apologizing for her error, she proceeded to tell me what the buyers of my house want. Stating they don't need to be there for the pumping just the inspection. This is not the case. Working in real estate, I don't need real estate advice from a scheduling lady at a septic company. She tried to say they will schedule the inspection and pumping on different days. I told her that doesn't work as we are closing on the house very soon. We chose to go with a different company mostly because of her response and no apology for her scheduling error. Even when I called back to cancel the appointment, she continued to try to be combative about her error.
