This review is solely towards the lack of customer service from the front office. We did not end up using Cascade Septic because of the situation written below. I called to schedule a pumping and inspection for my septic for my house that was being sold. The lady I spoke to scheduled us for both services for the second week of January. She even sent a text confirming the type of appointment and date. Fast forward, I called the day prior to our appointment to find out the time they would arrive and she somehow said she was under the impression we didn't need a pumping. I told her that is not the case and that I told her what was needed when we scheduled the appointment. Instead of her apologizing for her error, she proceeded to tell me what the buyers of my house want. Stating they don't need to be there for the pumping just the inspection. This is not the case. Working in real estate, I don't need real estate advice from a scheduling lady at a septic company. She tried to say they will schedule the inspection and pumping on different days. I told her that doesn't work as we are closing on the house very soon. We chose to go with a different company mostly because of her response and no apology for her scheduling error. Even when I called back to cancel the appointment, she continued to try to be combative about her error. I had a septic emergency where grey water was backing up . I got crazy quotes and companies not even addressing the problem, just wanting to charge thousands to come and "fix it" without even knowing what was wrong. Everyone at Cascade Septic Pumping is awesome. Anna tried to trouble shoot with me over the phone. She said it sounded like the pump was not working. Sure enough, the pump was toast. They are knowledgable, and quick to respond. Bill was very fast. He replaced the pump and float made some adjustments so it would operate better. They did not try to do any extra unnecessary work. These guys were fantastic! Not only were they able to schedule a week sooner than the competition, but went above and on to fix our issue which turned out not to be the pump out we had scheduled. Long story short, we called a plumber who told us the tank was full, which it wasn't. Cascade spent a fair amount of time to snake out a clog the plumbers should have diagnosed. Our septic blew up! Started with circuit breakers tripping and then fixtures backing up. Called Cascade and they were on the fix. Ioane Aufai and son David pumped the system, installed a new pump and repaired wiring. A nice benefit is that Ioane is a licensed electrician and really understands septic system design. I called to schedule a maintenance pumping/cleaning from this outfit, and the person on the phone was very pleasant and personable. The driver was going to be a little late and someone from Cascade called me to let me know if that would be a problem (it wasn't but I appreciated the call and they we're only about an hour later). The driver/technician was also very professional and had to replace a filter, but everything else was fine and done rather quickly. I didn't have an emergency but would definitely have these people on my "who to call in an emergency" list, for sure. Good Job! read more

Called Cascade Septic after my alarm went off. Even though they were booked they squeezed me into thier schedule and showed that evening and pumped my main tank to get us by until the next day. Showed up and finished the job and installed a new pump. Proof of an honest company, while working they came to me and let me know my pump was actually still working. I and most people probably wouldn't have known and they could of just install the new without any knowledge by us. I did have the new pump installed anyway just because the old one was 23 years old. I signed up with CCS for an on site potable toilet. I used their service for over a year and was charged monthly. They were supposed to clean it every two weeks. I had to call every time to get them to pump and clean. Sometimes a month would go by before they showed up. They would only put about two gallons of "blue water" in the toilet. It would stink within a week with very little use. I switched to Honey Bucket and they come weekly, no call ever required, and they put in lots of blue water. No stink. Avoid Cascade Septic. read more
