Old style motel, clean, inexpensive, close to DL and convention center, great and accommodating staff, clean pool, nice TV with plenty of cable channels, comfortable beds [with 4 pillows each], did I mention clean...O' yes I did....what more could you ask for, especially for the price. I can't understand the complaints about this place. ...some people just want to complain and find fault. I can find little to complain about. Sure the continental breakfast is minimal, but if you want a buffet go to a fancy hotel and pay an arm and a leg. I am here for a conference and can just walk across the street. We stayed here for a week. The rooms are average in size/set up but fairly clean. The beds are decent, each bed had 4 pillows - bonus! The best part is the price and the location. Looking out the bathroom window I see the back drop to the cars ride in Disney California, literally 100 yards away. It's perfect walking distance to Disney and to restaurants/bars. I'd stay here again. I like that I can smell churro a and popcorn from the park if the window is open. read more

The old adage you get what you pay for comes to mind. I was j. The area for a conference and wan Ed somewhere close to the convention center and reasonably priced. They do have free parking which most other hotels in The area do not. They also offer free wifi which is spotty at best. I had some online work to do while I was there and ended up going to the Hilton for their wifi. If your room is in the first floor expect a lot of noise from above and the parking area. I requested a switch to upper floor and they were very accommodating. The carpet needs to be either deep cleaned or replaced, very dirty. Beds were comfy and clean. Bathroom as clean but lighting not so good. There is no safe in the room. They also advertise free breakfast which consisted of prepackaged pastries and muffins. There is also cereal and some fruit. Value for the price was ok. If your looking for a reasonable place to stay with bare amenities a comfy bed this place fits the bill. This hotel is within perfect walking distance to convention center, Disneyland, and restaurants. read more

Honestly the best place to stay in! I had originally booked at best western a couple blocks down but I saw this inn was closer and cheaper and had one slot left so I booked right away. I was skeptical at first because for its location alone (about 7 minute walk from Disney) it should have been overpriced and was worried it was priced low for a reason. That was not the case, it was a simple room for a 3 night stay and the front desk helped with all our questions and even some extra stuff, the location is a bit tucked away on Katella Ave which gave us a small sense of security. The cleaning ladies did a wonderful job of cleaning up (we are so thankful) after our long days and with us being 2 adults 3 children in a 2 queen room. The pool was warm and clean and gated. Only warning if you stay for long make sure to find a coin laundry nearby as laundry service is 35$ per bag! read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here while in LA. For the price, you can't get better. It's a cute looking hotel from the outside. The room is pretty standard. Had everything that was necessary and was clean - standard in a good way. My only complaint was the parking - the lot is tiny and when we got back late from a concert, there wasn't any parking available. I think people who weren't staying at the hotel were parking there. The staff was friendly and personable. Overall, good for the price and we will probably stay here again next time we come up to LA. I would recommend. read more

I'm so glad we decided to stay here. What a cozy little place that fitted our needs. Although this is an older place, you can tell the owner takes pride in this place as it was clean and the beds were comfy. It had a small refrigerator and microwave. The buffet consisted of danish, cereal, oatmeal, and juice. The employees were professional and helpful. We booked the hotel for the weekend not realizing that a half Marathon was in Sunday so the streets were closed until 10:30 am for us to leave the hotel. This would have prevented us from getting to disneyland until after 11. The employees let us continue to park with them since they were only at half capacity for that night. What a great place!! Derek and the other staff at the Alpine Inn were so welcoming and helpful to us on our first family adventure to Disney. The location is fantastic for access to the park without incurring the crazy cost for on site hotels and parking. It took us no more than 12 mins to walk from our room to the Disney entrance. Our room was clean and had everything our family needed including a mini fridge and microwave. We reserved the family suite so we had an additional bedroom where we could shut the door after our daughter fell asleep and still talk and watch tv without disrupting her. The outdoor pool and continental breakfast, while modest, were nice amenities too. We were very happy with everything and will most certainly recommend the lodging to friends! read more

We were looking for a place close to Disneyland where we could crash for a few days. The staff at the Alpine Inn were very nice. Check in and check out went smoothly. Our room was clean and quiet. The inn is within walking distance to The Disney properties ( about 10 to 15 minutes).... There is a 7/11 located on the corner and a Cvs across the street if you need quick snacks or refreshments. The hotel room comes with a microwave and a mini fridge which we used to store our water. I would stay again. read more

This place worked for what we were going for. It is a 15 minute walk from Disneyland, has a shower and beds, and is clean. The rooms are pretty small and with four people it was a little crowded, but in the end we didn't really care. The parking lot was also pretty small and we had to make our own spots a couple of times. The walls are very thin. You can hear pretty much everything going on above and next to you so be ready to be awoken at 6 a.m. by loud, excited kids that are going to the park. The service was spotty. One of the gentlemen was super helpful, while another wasn't very friendly at all. We did change our reservation last minute, however, and they didn't charge us extra. I might stay here again in the future, because of the price and proximity, but hope to get better service next time. read more

Don't! I checked yelp reviews prior to booking my hotel. Alpine Inn had 4 stars so I moved forward. What a mistake! My first impression when I walked through the door was that this place is dirty. The carpet was gross, the walls were gross. It was disappointing. I went to unpack our cooler into the refrigerator and it didn't work well at all. At some points it just stopped cooling, I needed to unplug it and plug it back in again to get the motor running. The bed had a few hairs on it. The hair dryer didn't work. The hangers were rusty. The situation was not ideal, but things I could live with, after all it was a cheap stay (with 4 stars). The continental breakfast was definitely disappointing. All packaged foods. I hoped for at least some toast or bagels, but no. Still, I could live with this. The first day when we came back to our room for a midday break, the room was clean, our blankets spread out on the bed, it was nice to come back to. I was pleased. Then, we came back the 2nd day for our break and the room hadn't been cleaned yet. We decided to go out and get food, when we got back the cleaning lady was in there cleaning our room, so we just waited in the car. It didn't take her long at all. She vacuumed for about 5 seconds, literally. We got in the room and the beds were made and towels replaced, that was it. No new coffee, nothing was wiped down. We realized that instead of changing the sheets, she turned them inside out. We know this because there was a little mess made the day prior and we found it on the downside of the sheets. I wondered if the towels were clean or just, rehung. We called and asked for new sheets. The front desk was helpful and polite and brought us new sheets. We complained a bit and decided to leave the "do not disturb" on the door the next day, since we had complained. We got back for a short visit and the sign was not in the door but instead on the desk. This was strange. I put it back on the door before we left and when we got back that night, the room had been entered, the beds made and so on. This was very very upsetting. Horrible experience. I will fork out a few more dollars next time and stay at a chain. read more

Can't go wrong!! I've stayed here twice, and I will likely continue to return here for future Disney trips. If you're looking for simplicity, yet everything you probably need, this might be the perfect place. Helpful staff, great rates always, and walking distance to the parks. Free wifi, and complimentary breakfast. The breakfast options are quite limited, i.e. cereal, coffee, some fruit, muffins, etc. but keyword here is "complimentary". Save some money and grab something quick here before you head into the parks. The rooms have all your basic needs, and are well kept. I've never experienced any noise issues. They could maybe just instal some more outlets cause I've had an issue finding any convenient ones near the bed for phone charging. (A lot of hotels/motels seem to have this problem). For my family the Alpine has covered all of our needs. It's a nice place to stay and go back to after a long day at the parks. If you're looking for flash and the ultimate Disney themed hotel, this isn't your place. This is best for those who want simplicity with amenities and mainly care about their time spent in the park. We come for the parks, not to spend a lot of time in a hotel. There are plenty of other choices if that's a big deal to you. This does the job for us and it does it exceptionally well. read more

I booked this hotel with a little bit of skepticism because of the mixed reviews, but I can honestly say I am so happy I stayed at the Alpine Inn! The concierges were nice and helpful, the room was clean and it cooled off quickly once the AC was turned on, parking was ample, easy on the wallet, and it was about a 10 minute walk to Disneyland! I deducted a star because there were some ants by the sink, but I wasn't bothered since there were only a handful. I will be visiting Disneyland again in a few months, and I will definitely be staying here again. read more

We wanted to enjoy our visit to Disneyland, but we did not want to spend too much money on hotel. We wanted to go somewhere close to the park. We found Alpine Inn from various internet site. This is pretty much a motel. Continental breakfast is really nothing. However, it is clean and met our needs. For the weekend, you can walk about a block on Kaetella to the parking lot of the Disneyland Resort (Timon parking) and get on the Lion King Shuttle to go the park! So convenient. During the week, you have to walk about 15 minutes, but it is not bad. If you are interested in Convention Center, it is right there. read more

We have stayed here for years, great rates and staff. It's about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland. But we stayed this past weekend and see that the rooms really do need a make over. They are clean, but rusted drains in sinks and showers, mismatched grout all over the tile floors, very old fixtures. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. This year was our second year, and we were not disappointed at all. We attend WonderCon every year, and the location is excellent for us!! The staff is always so accommodating and friendly. I make my reservation months in advance, to guarantee our room, and they are always so wonderful in making that happen for us, and even assigned us the same room that we stayed in last year. We stay in the family suite, which works out well for our two adult children, myself and my husband. The bathroom is large, rooms are very good size, tv and air/heat in both rooms. The hotel fills up for the weekend, but once inside the room, you'd never know it. It's very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Everything is always very clean, they even power wash the parking lot and sidewalk. My husband is a self employed graphic designer, and often has to bring work with him. He has never had a problem with the wifi, and can easily email large files and download things he needs. I can't recommend this place highly enough. If I could, I would give it 10 stars!!! I wish I could get this kind of service everywhere I go. read more

In planning a trip to Disneyland over Columbus Day Week vacation, I quickly discovered that many of the economy motels in the Anaheim area are old, worn down, and often dumps. So many of the motels I researched were just slammed on Yelp and TripAdvisor, however I noticed that the Alpine Inn had much better reviews then most, so I took I chance and made a reservation. I am glad we did. Yeah, the motel is older and not very fancy at all. Yeah, the free breakfast was juice and granola bars. However, on the whole, the place was great. Location is great, easy to find, easy to park, easy 15-20 minute walk to the enterances to Disney Adventure, Disneyland, and Downtown Disney. We are native new yorkers, so we like to walk and this was an easy relaxing walk, much better than messing with parking or shuttlebuses. The motel was even close to Crossfit Anaheim West were I could get a WOD in or two during my stay. The staff was friendly, the AC in the room worked great, the room was clean, and I and my family slept like babies. So again, its not fancy, and its an older property, but the location was great, the staff was great and I would definetely stay here again, though i am not sure i want to go back to disney any time soon! my only suggestion would be for the motel to add an additional lock or deadbolt to the doors. thank you for a great stay. read more

For the most part we enjoyed our stay. It was just minutes from Disneyland entrance and real close to other areas to eat and shop. The one thing is that there was minimal parking. We came back to the hotel from visiting local family around 10pm and there was NO parking at all. Another thing was being bothered by house keeping. I totally understand they are just trying to do their job but we did hang (supposedly it was suppose to be IN the card slot) the "do not disturb" sign and one lady did open the door while my kids were napping. Didn't hear a knock at all. Lastly, can the carpets be CLEANED?? I normally make my kids wear socks or flip flops at any hotel but even their socks ended up so dirty. Overall, staff was great and it was in a great location. read more

Not a bad stay for being near Disneyland. We got the two bed room that comes with mini fridge and microwave. Get this, it was cheaper than Motel 6!!! A great bargain for budget Disneyland goers. Yes, you have to walk about 10 minutes to get to Disneyland but I'd rather walk and save $$$ to spend inside the park! Our toilet didn't leak so it was great. Internet connection was great, it was quiet, no traffic noise. Hot showers instantly (don't have to wait for the water to get hot). They have a heated pool on the parking lot. Housekeeping leaves plenty of towels and toiletries of shampoo and soap--something motels don't do much these days unless you stay at a higher end hotel. Cash paying people have to pay a $50 deposit, which is refundable when checking out. The front desk sign said they will inspect the room first but with me they just gave it back. I asked about inspecting the rooms and basically he doesn't want people smoking in there. Only downside was it felt like staying at a super closely monitored room where I wouldn't be surprised if they had a camera in there to make sure you didn't smoke. There were signs everywhere in the room--on the door, back of the TV... don't steal towels or you'll be charged. Or Don't smoke inside the room or you'll be charged for cleaning. Don't take the menus off of the table. Don't do this, don't do that. Those signs seemed to cheapened the classy feel of the room, I must say (also when you check-in they make you initial all those things on the sheet you sign when you pay). Another downside is the breakfast is too short--only two hours. And then there's the washer/dryer. They have a coin operated one, which is great for people with toddlers. The downside is the washing machine charges $3 and the dryer is $0.25 for 15 minutes. $3 for a wash is pretty high! Parking will get tight and hard to come by. They make you place a parking permit inside on the dash. Late check out is hard to get, too. They charge every hour past 11AM. So we were only able to get 45 minutes extra. There weren't grocery stores around this area so if you want to eat a meal inside the motel buy things in advance before you get there. The 7-11 and the other convenience store right around the corner charges arm and a leg for so many things. read more

I had meetings in Anaheim Convention Center. My wife and kids just walked to Disneyland while I was in meetings. I joined them after the meetings and had good time in Disneyland. We booked the Alpine Inn for its location to Disneyland and it was one of the few places that offered free parking. I called in advance to make sure when we checked out we would be able to park there while we where at Disneyland. We where told we could. We where also told there would be breakfast. When we checked in I was told we could only park there the day we checked in and that immediately upon check out we had to move the car. I explained I called in advance and I was told that I should check in the morning with the other staff that it should be okay since the hotel was not booked. Upon check out we where told no we had to leave. I explained again that I had called ahead of time and was told to call the manager on Monday. We would not have stayed at this hotel otherwise. The bedding was also dirty and stained. When I told the front desk he just shrugged and said okay. Lobby was filthy and there was no breakfast and they said they ran out of coffee. We had planned a last-minute trip to Disneyland (1 week ahead of time)! And this hotel was so affordable for the value of its location ~ they even made special effort to fit us in for a reservation. You can literally see the back of the Radiator Springs Ride in the California Adventure park from the inn's parking lot. There is a pool, but we didn't get a chance to try it. It's an open air hotel, and the ice machine is also outdoors. The staff was incredibly hospitable, and our room was very clean & was also kept that way. Don't even get me started about the heavenly beds here..... I was tempted to skip out on a day at Disneyland to get more time to relax with the luxurious pillows and soft mattress. The TV seems bigger than most hotels, HOWEVER, the cable service they include seemed kinda iffy. That, combined with the lack of an extensive continental breakfast, are the only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5. The breakfast only consists of muffins, orange juice, milk, and cereal. The cable was freezing a lot and kind of confusing to figure out, even with not too many channels to find. But being able to walk to Disneyland within 10-15 minutes was well worth the stay here; this will now be one of my top choices for Disneyland trips in the future! read more

The alpine was WONDERFUL! the staff, the room, the cleanliness, the comfort, etc. We reserved a king and they gave us 2 queens. When we asked about the confusion they changed it without question. Very nice people at the office. The room was clean, the bathroom was very simple and clean. Tons of towels. The only complaint that I have is the shower water pressure is out of control. Found this Inn on Yelp and Trip Advisor. We just returned from our stay there. And would definitely return! The front desk staff Rudy and Derrick were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is heated which my kids really enjoyed for morning and night swimming. And the proximity to both Disneyland and California Adventure was wonderful! About a ten minute walk. Also close walking distance to Cheesecake Factory, Bubba Gump's and other restaurants. The rooms were clean and really sound proof! Thank you for a wonderful stay Alpine!
