There were a few areas we were hoping to see more progress with (lots of dogs), got the service done when it was relatively cold out and it didn't dry after a few days. Called to discuss the concern. They had the gentleman come back out, redo most of it, really soak up as much liquid as possible, and then told me to just blast the heater if I could. Dried in like a day and a half, smelt way fresher, looked way better, and I was really impressed with their zero hassle customer service to make sure the service really accomplished the goal. My carpet was pretty beaten up and with the dogs the house just didn't smell fresh. Had them do the rooms, couch, two chairs, and two area rugs. Huge difference! read more

I can only speak to the price as there is no way on earth I would accept paying someone ~$400 an hour to do this work. The technician who came for a quote was a nice and professional gentleman. I wouldn't slight him for how he communicates nor the fact that he showed up when asked. Upon requesting quotes from many companies it was apparent that several of them are being opportunistic. This is fine if you have enough money to buy your way through having to discriminate good choices. They're about twice as expensive as the lowball and juuuuust under the most expensive quote I received for what sounded like little more than shooting hot water onto a house to wash away spider webs. They do ipe decks right! Wow! A hundred stars for this company. I finally found a company that knows how to pressure clean my ipe deck. I used to do it myself, and did a good job, but it was a labor of love. I got to the point where I just couldn't do that kind of hard work anymore. For about 10 years we brought in company after company and I have been disappointed by all of them. They usually used the big round (worthless) cleaners with multiple nozzles. Last year I was so desperate I hired someone to sand the whole deck with 60 grit. After going through about $400 of sandpaper, the deck still did not look good. Ipe is one of the hardest woods in the world. If you do nothing to ipe, it will age to a gray color. If you keep it up and then oil it, the wood looks like a gorgeous red mahogany floor. This deck is my pride and joy. Before it was built I took a whole summer to sand and oil every single board on all sides. Back to Alpine. Elijah and Gaelen, especially Elijah, worked their tails off on this cleaning. It was not cheap, but all they had to do was a test wash on two steps, and I knew I had the right company. There was that red color that I have not seen since I used to clean the deck a decade ago. Since the deck has not been properly cleaned in about ten years, it was a very difficult job. Using the hot water at 8 gallons/minute, and the hard work of these two guys, my deck is back to it's original beauty. They worked on one board at a time until it was perfect. Our deck is about 800 sq feet. I paid for a certain number of hours, but they stayed until the job was finished to my satisfaction, even coming back for a second day. I suppose if you're rich and don't care how much something costs this company would be great and they did get some good reviews however, they are way too expensive. Found a flyer in the Value Pac that comes in the mail. $75 off, sounds like a good deal so I called. Spoke to a very nice man who asked what we needed done and I said three rooms of carpet and perhaps some bar stool seats. He looked at his cost, now I have no idea where this company is but by the upcharge they must be in Oregon. We live in Auburn WA which isn't that far from any city in Seattle. The individual told me that the cost for three rooms of carpet was $230 or there about, sounded good, but then he told me since we live in Auburn it would be $475. I'll be honest. I've never had my ducts cleaned and we've lived in this house for 9 years. When I was looking for duct cleaning services, I kept thinking, "I could do this myself. Shop vac and you're good to go." Boy was I wrong. Their process is very thorough. I saw the nastiness that came out of the ducts and it wasn't pretty. We chose the gold package because of price and overall value. I appreciate the ranges and a quick breakdown of what's included or not. I was a big dummy and put an art project involving wet resin, on top of an upholstered dining room chair. Adding insult to injury, I waited for a month until I dealt with the resulting stains. So today I finally got up to this amazing business and right off the bat, they looked at it and were skeptical that they could fix it. Nonetheless they took it back to their shop and worked on it for about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, they were correct in their initial assessment that the stain could not be lifted. Kudos for their efforts, however. The really spectacular thing was that they decided not to charge me for their 30 minutes of attempts. We have a serious problem with severe soil subsidence that occurred below the outside unit of the heating and air conditioner. It is a big enough hole that the pad is in danger of tilting and letting the unit crash into the house and tear the electrical supply out of the wall. There are several possible causes and it is a complicated situation as this is in a small condo building of owners without much expertise in this type of thing with whom we have to deal. The first cause I wanted to eliminate was drainage from the A/C unit. Alpine came right away, sending two men who were extremely knowledgeable and were able to tick that cause off my list and help me plan for a solution. The technician was on time and was very polite, but the service wasn't great. I did a gas fireplace tune up, because I wanted to have everything ready for my family for Christmas. I was told in the beginning that everything was looking great, expect the embers were not good anymore and the gasket was put on wrong, but not to worry. I choose to pay additionaly to add the embers. When the embers were added and he was finishing up. I was then told the gasket was not good anymore and to call some place in Seattle, he couldn't remember the name of the place and they might fix the gasket. I was charged the tune up and the additional embers and he left. I now have called over 15 fireplace repair places and it seems no one can come out or wants to touch something that was already serviced by somebody else. So now the primary heating source for the downstairs I can't use, so now I have to buy a space heater for the downstairs, until I can solve the problem. I feel for future reference if you guys don't fix gas fireplaces, then maybe have a list of partners that can do the work or recommendations of places. My other issue is, if the gasket was gonna be an issue, then why up sell me on the embers, when I wasn't gonna be able to use the fireplace. Really was excited to have a nice looking gas fireplace for the family, but I now have no usage of the fireplace and no solution in sight. UPDATE: Changing my review to five stars. I was contacted by the company and everything was fixed. They really stood behind their claim about the importance of customer service. I am very pleased to recommend Alpine for residential pressure washing needs. I requested an estimate from them, along with 3 other providers. The estimator was Mike, and he was courteous, professional , and explained what distinguished their service from many others. They utilize HOT water under pressure, while many providers hook up to your hose bib and use cold water. Mike was able to customize the job to include moss on some north facing stone pillars. Other companies declined to do this or offered only to do the entire stone facades. Their pricing was certainly competitive, and far better than 2 of my other estimates. On the day of service I got reminder and also tracking of when the tech, Dwayne, would arrive. When he did, we went over the entire job again to confirm what was included. Dwayne was very courteous and professional. He would check with me after completing each task (deck, walkway, etc) to determine if the job met with my expectations. He took before and after pics and provided them by email for my records. He was careful with his hoses and equipment, and did no damage at all to shrubs, plants when pressure washing along the walkway. Overall, I am very pleased with the services that Alpine provided. Absolute waste of money. Called them to clean the air ducts, they got us on the schedule within days. Add 50% to whatever they quote you for add ons (sanitizer, dryer vent cleaning). Within a week we had a bunch of dead flies and debris showing up in our basement. I called them to come back. The service tech, who was very nice, asked if it was the basement? He said we would need to schedule a longer appointment because they didn't have the right filters for our furnace and it would take longer for him to fix. We were waiting 3 weeks to have our carpets cleaned and we were excited for clean carpets today. This is our second time using Alpine, and the last time the carpet took longer than 4 hours they said it would take to dry. We did not upgrade for the super dry service which they tried to upsell last time too. Even so, We were happy with them originally aside for the very wet carpets. Today we got up early to clear out the rooms and then we got a call 1 hour before our scheduled window 12 noon (1 hour head or 1 hr later than). "The technician is now saying he won't be able to get here until 4:00 p.m". Which means to us, the carpets will still be soaking wet even at 10 or 11:00 p.m. for us to go to bed is bed, we'd be walking on wet carpet. So we asked if we could get the upgrade to the superdry for this inconvenience seemed fair because we have people coming to visit from out of town. We waited 3 weeks for this appointment! Plus we are a second time customer and use carpet cleaning regularly. She just said No, he was not driving that Van. so no upgrade and all you get is a late appointment, or if we moved our appointment it would be another week at least waiting again, but our guest were arriving that week. So our only option was to cancel or have super wet carpets by a co that does not value their repeat customers! So we canceled. Disappointed, we felt like they just put us last as a customer. They overbooked or whatever they did to our appointment to be pushed back 4 hours. They did nothing to make it right. I choose to support local companies who care about their customers. So I would look elsewhere to get your carpets cleaned if you want to give your hard earned money to a reliable company that cares about their customers. read more

UPDATE : They reached out to us, said they we would remove the charge and asked us to revise our review. I would stay away from Alpine at all cost! There are much better outfits in our area who aren't thieves. I requested an appointment for a wood cleaning at my home in Seattle. Was quoted around 1000+, which was higher than others, but I've heard such good things about alpine from my friends at kjr so I called them up for my "free quote" and just like that we had an appointment booked. The technician came to our home. Vince was there maybe 15 minutes, not long. He stated that our hard wood was in pretty bad shape (yes I know, that's why we called you) and didnt feel comfortable performing the cleaning. In the bathroom, I had just pulled up tiles that were stuck to the linoleum underneath with an adhesive. So I squirted a bunch of goof off down to combat the sticky residue and was hoping he could go over the linoleum. Nope, Vince said no to that as well, saying it smelt toxic. He left, again maybe 15 mins in all. I booked another appt with a rival company for a second opinion. The best part? A few days later I received a bill from alpine for $370. For what? Your technician literally didnt clean ANYTHING. I understand how minimums work. Say a tech only cleans 1 room, that square footage wise would cost about $200. Then yes, a minimum fee of an ageed upon $370 should be charged. However, your technican came in, said no I dont want to do this, and Alpine still charged me $370. Second best part? Coit came a couple days later, performed the whole wood cleaning, cheaper than what alpine quoted me, and it looks amazing. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. read more
