I needed my couch cleaned after my cat peed on it. A friend suggested this company. I filled out the form on their website and they contacted me in a few hours. They were very responsive over email. I'm glad I could communicate like that and not have to talk on the phone. They sent me an update about when they would arrive and I could track where their vehicle was. They communicated about arrival well. They did a very thorough job and it was pretty quick. I was happy with the results. The couch doesn't smell anymore. The cleaning person was very friendly. I don't usually have people come to clean but I felt good about having my couch cleaned by this company. I was told the starting price and that it might go up, depending on the job. In short: Hail Hydra! In long: I'm trying to squeeze a couple more years of life out of the beat-up old carpet in my home office. It's still new enough to look nice in the clean spots, but it has pet damage. Is some of that from ours? Yeah. But much is from previous owners' pets. My usual steam cleaner was unavailable, but I don't really have a strong preference on steam cleaning versus what Hydra does. Hunter came out right on time, with easy text and email communication to book the appointment and then let me know he was on his way. I appreciate that Hydra texts you a photo of your tech, but I'd recommend they use a bigger, clearer photo of the tech in his work clothes, rather than a small, somewhat-fuzzy candid snapshot from life outside of work. Other than that, these guys are perfect. He came up to the room in question, and immediately agreed with me that it might never look perfect again. Thankfully, he was confident that he could make it look way better. He treated the whole room with anti-pet-damage stuff. I didn't ask what it was, but he let it soak in. He even moved little pieces of furniture out of the way so he could cover more ground. In fact, he vacuumed for me. I shoulda done that! Kinda awkward thanking someone for doing something you shoulda done, but he was perfectly gracious about it. Super nice guy. 24 hours later, the carpet still looks undamaged, for the first time in years. It smells like a pretty flower in here, too. All the animals, for better or worse, are just as eager to come in here and walk across it. I get the sense these guys have a somewhat cleaner (environmentally speaking) approach to the compounds and solutions they apply to your carpet, but I could be making that up. Whatever they did, it looks and smells really nice again in here, and I am super grateful. Their prices are in line with what others charge, and you pay them as they leave with a credit card if you like. Full service for sure. I'll use these guys again if the carpet starts looking tired after a while...which old carpets tend to do. read more

For the past five or six years, we have had HydraClean (Hunter and Bjorn) come to clean our pet impacted carpets. There have been a couple "emergency" shout outs before houseguests arrived and they came right away. I don't know how they do it but these carpets are very old yet when they leave, they look almost like new. No kidding. We have a 17 year old kitty and a 12 year old Sheltie dog - both have accidents in the house. These guys come with truck and all the equipment needed to really take out stains. Hunter and Sean did a great job in our house -- 3 rooms, a few wool rugs and the price was fair. They were quick, friendly, trustworthy...and my dog loved them, so there's that. First off they arrived 55 minutes after the 11-1 arrive time, then I told them about my concerns of leaving the carpet too wet (just wanted to make sure that they sucked the water out real good). They said that I should try the low moisture system that they have. What a joke Sprayed some stuff on my carpet then went over it with a scrubber. All this did was bring up a musty smell for the next two days I then vacuumed the carpet three time and it honestly looked the same as before. They did refund my money so I have to give them that but my carpets are still dirty and I had my house tore apart for two days. Lesson learned steam cleaning is the way to go read more

I gave Hydra Cleaning NW a real challenge - and they did an extraordinary job! I purchased a condo that had previously been a rental. Although the carpets had been cleaned, my cats could still identify areas with prior urine stains and ended up marking these areas further with their own urine. No matter how many enzyme spot cleaning and professional carpet cleaning I've done over the past two years, I could still smell remaining urine. While Hydra NW informed me that my carpets truly needed to be replaced and they couldn't guarantee results as the damage had penetrated the carpet pads and sub flooring, their deep cleaning using a high percentage of hydrogen peroxide and very hot water were able to eliminate all smell issues! Great experience! Making the appointment was easy, and Hunter answered all questions promptly. The price was not the cheapest, but was on the lower end of the bids I'd received. I'm giving Hydra Clean Northwest a 5 star review because they did a beautiful job on our carpet, Hunter was a pleasure to work with and have in my home, and scheduling/reminders were streamlined. They even got some dreaded water and tea stains out! To begin, our basement carpet is 10 years old. It was in good condition when we moved in but a couple of short years later our kids and guests made it looked very, very lived in/on. We had two good size water stains from leaky thermos and spilled drinks, several dribbles of tea stains and general dirt/mud from when the kids forgot to take off their shoes. I easily made an appointment not far from the date I phoned and was given e-mail and text reminders about the upcoming appointment. On arriving Hunter Jenkins was very professional, polite and knowledgeable about carpet cleaning. He explained what he'd be doing and why, and got to work.
