Very happy with our experience renting with this ski shop!!!! We ooooopsed and forgot to reserve our rentals at winter park. We had lift tickets and everything and winter park said there was NO way we could get stuff with them since we didn't book a time d/t covid. So we spent $300 on lift tickets and have no skis. We called alpine with our figures crossed and they had some available for us & were very understanding about the last minute-Ness. Short drive over the to ski shop. Every one was super friendly. It felt WAY more personal than renting at winter park. So nice , gave us tips, advice. The equipment was much better taken care of and comfier too! Then right across the street the shuttle picks you up and drops you off right at the gondola. Very convenient. We decided to book with them again on our next ski day and same thing... very genuinely kind people working that day. We will be return customers every time we go to winter park! read more

We borrowed skis from this store，But when we return it. It's damaged. They shirked the responsibility and put our customers in charge and bought the skis that they had rented many times. My daughter and I dropped in without reservations hoping to rent some skis for a couple of hours. They not only squeezed us in but completely calmed all of my daughter's first time skiing nerves. This cozy ski shop is awesome. Not only did they provide an excellent array of ski and snowboard rental gear (at a great price!), but the staff there went above and beyond in helping me and my fellow first time winter sports enthusiast have a successful first outing. They explained how to purchase passes once we got to the resort and spent 15 minutes helping us find a nearby hotel room for the night, even going so far as to help us make calls to check availability, which was no small feat considering there was a big event at the resort that weekend and an influx of skiers chasing a fresh ten inch snowfall. Alpine was a huge help in ensuring a fun introduction to snowboarding and I highly recommend them to beginners and seasoned vets alike. Great product selection and even better staff. Normally don't review Spent $683 dollars for 2 kids / 2 adult / 2 day rental and apparel. Love the local places, met Frank (owner) at his event center and was a great guy. Initially visit was good, upon return the associate (owners son) got loud about scratches on the bottom of my 17 year olds sons skis. Actually asked my son questions and then said he looks like he is lying. Good lord! Learn some social skills if you are going to be in the service business. I've Been renting skis for 30 years, first Time for me. Will not be back. Oh and beware of the waiver damage fee, I guess as it reads anything can be negligence. read more

Absolutely amazing people with high quality gear and beyond fair prices! Mrs GG did her best to accommodate us even though we didn't have a reservation during spring break and she managed to get us skis just in time for a full day on the mountain. Plus courtesy parking in front of the shop puts you 5 minutes off the mountain with bus pick ups and drop offs multiples times an hour. Over all a fantastic experience with friendly, knowledgeable, and great people will definitely be returning here. read more

We reserved skis for a family of 4 the day before heading out to Winter Park. Website stated that you must reserve 48 hours in advance to get a discount but took our reservation. We arrive at rental place to be told they not only don't have the reservation it they have no skis to rent to us. We are now driving around Winter Park trying to find skis to rent. I would NEVER use this place since it makes it appear your rental is set but unless it's done more than 48 hours in advance they don't honor it and the website DOES NOT SAY THAT. read more

We stumbled across Alpine Sun and Ski due to the fact that it was very close to the condo we rented for the weekend. They provide a 20% discount on rentals booked online as long as they are received 48 hours in advance. Gigi and Frank are very nice people and are very knowledgeable and helpful, they spent time with each person during the rental process to ensure the gear was sized correctly, comfortable, and suited to their ability. My wife rented a snowboard but had a rough first day and wanted to switch to skis, we were worried that we would be charged extra to switch but Gigi was happy to help with the gear exchange and did not charge us anything additional. Our friends rented skis and were both impressed with the quality of the gear and customer service. I highly recommend Alpine. read more

I have been going to this rental place for 15 years as we own a condo across the highway, but they have lost my business now. Refused to rent us equipment at 2:00. Claimed they were waiting to get all their inventory back in and not renting till next morning. Employee did measure my sons feet to see if they even carried his size as he is 6'4 size 14-15 shoe and they had multiple boots to accommodate him yet she still refused to rent until the morning even though their typical policy is rentals allowed after 2 for following day. She claimed a run on all equipment all over town yet she seemed to have ample stock to meet our needs, just no desire. I think we disturbed her lunch. We went down into town and had 4 sets of weekend ski packages rented for our family within 30 minutes. By 2:30 we were geared up and ready for skiing. Poor customer service loses my business every time. read more

Great place to rent from, and they'll always get my business whenever I'm skiing Winter Park. My son had some complaints with the way his boots fit, so we took the shuttle back over to them and had his boots and skis swapped out quickly. Shuttle is right across the street and only a few minutes to get as close as you can possibly get to the ski area. Very friendly, caring staff and fair prices. read more
