Late one evening, our G35 sedan had its passenger window smashed in a break-in while it was sitting in a local Park-and-Ride. The next morning, I called a few places and got quotes to replace the glass. Some quotes were pretty stunning. The quote Al's gave me was - BY FAR - the most reasonable. This review is long overdue, but as luck would have it, a few days after I wrote my earlier review, my windshield cracked thanks to a wayward rock. I immediately called Al, and he showed up to my office within 2 hours with a brand new windshield specific to my car. All I had to do is convince my insurance company to go with him, which was easy given his Yelp page and his willingness to procure original windshields. I was very excited to use these guys because they had good reviews on Yelp and were the cheapest out of several places I called. I had a huge crack in my front windshield about halfway across it so was definitely in need of a replacement. I booked a spot with them to come to my work at 10am. The morning they were going to come I got a call at about 9:45am saying they were on their way but would be about 30 mins. They didn't show up until after 10:30am. They called when they arrived, and I came over, unlocked my car and they replaced the window. They did a very quick job (maybe 30 mins total) and called when they were done. It looked good, I paid, and they left. When I got to my car to go home, there was some kind of gummy residue on my rear view mirror which I had to clean off. It was covering it pretty good so had to do that before driving. It also wasn't the easiest to get to come off. Overall it wasn't the best experience as they were late and I really needed it to be started at 10 due to my schedule. Then seeing the mess on my mirror tipped it over the edge as I don't know how that could be missed (they moved my mirror from one windshield to the next). They did a good job on the window replacement itself so I would give 5 stars to that including the cost. read more

I had a butterfly-shaped crack on my windshield from flying debris and I called Al's said they'd come out the same day (Friday). Unfortunately, my insurance company hadn't finished the paperwork process so they called me to let me know and when I called my insurance to get them the information they needed it was too late for them to come that day so they came out the next day. I really appreciated them coming out on a Saturday morning and the communication. They were running 10 min late, but they let me know and kept in communication throughout the process. I'm glad I didn't go with the insurance recommended Safelight. Their process is a bit lengthy and got an email saying they'd have to check it out before they send someone out. read more

Price on the new windshield was good. The quality of the windshield was not. The first windshield had waves in it but they were understanding about my issue and tried to replace it with another. Unfortunately, the second windshield also had the wavey ripples at eye level when you look straight out, but since they tried I give them credit for their service. Both brands were Pilkington windshields, not to be confused with OEM which has both Pilkington and BMW logos. If they could source a windshield that did not have the wavey spots i'd give them 5 stars for sure read more

I had service with Al 6 months ago. I found him on yelp due to very good review and good price. Somehow this is my big mistake. After they finished changing my back window and left, I found a lot of scattered glasses in my car and trunk. Also some tiny scattered glasses fell into car speaker which causing noisy sound. There's nothing like going to your car and finding your window and things gone. I called and requested service, I was asked did I have a preference of brand glass I wanted, which I appreciated. They came with-in a couple hours vacuumed all the glass up, even on the ground. The Service Tech (his name escapes me) was very professional and courteous.
