More than one time, their "barber" person (M****) didn't return my message when I was simply trying to schedule a haircut. I was initially attracted to this business, because I thought the word "Color" probably referred to them being friendly to all the different kinds of people represented in the diversity of a rainbow. Marisa Prizzi has been my hair ANGEL for years! Not only does she always execute the color I'm going for, but she also always gets my haircut down to perfection. One thing about her is she is ALL ABOUT HAIR HEALTH! She always makes sure that you can get to the color you want and is honest if you can/cannot get there the first time around, but will work with you to get where you want without causing any unnecessary damage to your hair. I booked an appointment a few months back, and I was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, I had booked the appointment time incorrectly by a half hour in my own calendar and missed my appointment. That's on me, totally my fault. However, I had reached out a few days ahead of my appointment to confirm and never received a reply, nor did the salon reach out to me to confirm. Then, when I showed up a half hour late and no one was there, I was confused and the stylist never even reached out to see why I was running late and didn't seem interested in understanding what happened. I declined to reschedule because the communication was poor and left me feeling blamed for the whole thing. Now that I think back to the initial booking process - my first contact gave me the number of the stylist rather than attempting to making the appointment for me or at least having the stylist reach out themselves, leaving it up to me to do the work, which just feels like poor service. All of these missed opportunities could have been easily fixed with some very simple communication. read more

Daisy was so kind, sweet, friendly, and took the time to answer the 900 questions I had about my hair. Ultimately we went for a reshape instead of a chop because my end goal is to grow out. She shaped my hair PERFECTLY it lays exactly how I want it to. It was such a relief because my whole life I've been so let down by hairstylists I ended up just learning how to DIY my own haircuts. A bad haircut can be pretty devastating. My husband has been seeing Lara and we both absolutely love what she's done styling the post-COVID casual look.
