I am a new patient of Dr. Hudani. My father was recommended to go to him. My father had needed extensive work done as he has gum issues and needed oral surgery. He had a great opinion and experience with him. Then my brother had an infected tooth that needed to be pulled asap and went to Ocean Dental Center and also had a great experience. So I decided to give the office a try as well. My last dentist that I had for most of my life retired, and I wasn't pleased with the new office I was at. I had broken my 2 front teeth when I was in 2nd grade, and due to the trauma of that event had a root canal and crown a little less than 10 years ago. Well, that root canal wasn't the best and needed to be redone. It was mainly making the crown look hideous and I was so unhappy! The last dentist after my favorite retired dentist left was trying to charge me $10,000 plus for a new canal and crown!!! I was devastated! But I came to Dr. Hudani in hopes he could get me a bit more reasonable price. He ABSOLUTELY came through, and although my insurance covered a hefty bit of the price for it, I only paid about $600 out of pocket!!!! OMG SO RESONABLE compared to the other office I was at! But did the lower price mean lower quality? Absolutely not! I feel that my whole experience was of the upmost quality and my teeth are gorgeous!!! Teeth are so tied into our identity and emotions, so something like this can be nerve wracking, but the office was great! The office is very clean and very professional. It's also very beautiful! I love the staff. As a new patient they made me feel welcome and they take Covid-19 safety protocols seriously. My teeth cleaning went very well too! I won't lie and say the root canal was pain free, but it was quick and done the right way and had no complications and that's what mattered most for me. And for the crown replacement and repair of the my front teeth... I cried a little with happiness when I saw it. I'm not ashamed of my teeth anymore! I really appreciate how matter of fact Dr. Hudani is. He knew as soon as he saw me that the old ugly tooth had to go! He is efficient and I can tell he cares about his patients and takes pride in his work and office. He is very kind and extremely capable. I appreciate him and the staff. I feel so blessed to have found another wonderful dentist! Call them today and schedule a teeth cleaning and give him a try! You won't be disappointed! read more

I have been going to Dr. Hudani for close to 30 years. He and his staff have been phenomenal. My appointments have always been promptly scheduled and on time. The quality of his dental work is 2nd to none and I could not be happier. He is very fairly priced with or without dental insurance. Very egotistical dentist, shows very little compassion. The staff and dental hygienist are brilliant and kind, but Dr. Hudani is a dentist who has lost his passion for dentistry, it's all about the money now- Although I saw his superb hygienist Kim, every 3-4 months for the last 8 years or so, the dentist never came into the room after my cleaning to check on my teeth. The one time I insisted, he charged me for a dentist visit on top of the cleaning. The times I did have him work on my teeth were a disaster. I swallowed a temporary crown because he forgot glue it in, when the final crown finally came in, it was a totally different color than my real tooth, but he denied it. He put a dental implant in crooked, it got infected and I had to have surgery to remove it. I have now been without a tooth for over a year and have spent over $6,000.00 with all the different procedures !!!!! Be sure to find a specialist in implants..BE SURE YOUR DENTIST IS BOARD CERTIFIED IN SURGERY AND IMPLANTS. Worst dentist ever been to. If like unnecessary pain and hate your insurance company. He's perfect for you. Went in for crown and he broke tooth next to that one and acted like is was already broken. Did similar thing to my wife. Does not communicate with you while he's in there sawing around. My temps fell out and he would not see me for a month. Went in and the permanent ones didnt fit. I hate going to the dentist I use to say NOW it's a whole new ball game! Dr Hudani was recommended by a friend as a 2nd opinion for my granddaughter. I was impressed with how easily he had her comfortable & his professionalism. He only spoke to me of the concerns I brought up. After examining the xrays we brought in he called the mom to discuss my granddaughters dental care. He has facetimed dad to answer questions he had. Dr Hudani has been my dentist for 20 years for routine as well as cosmetic dentistry. I have gotten 2 sets of veneers over the years and they have always been very natural, beautifully shaped and of the highest quality. No cracking, chipping and or falling off of veneers. I moved to Upland last year and needless to say I wanted to change my veneers to a lighter color and trusted a dentist in Claremont. I was mortified at the length of time it took (7 weeks) to get poorly fitting veneers that kept popping out and looked like George Washington teeth. Felt like wearing loose dentures. After 2 months of frustration I went back to Dr Hudani to remove them and start from scratch. Dr Hudani is amazing in that he is adept in both general and cosmetic dentistry. His clinical skills, painless lidocaine injections and high quality of care and technique goes above and beyond my expectations in receiving extremely efficient and talented care. I was sorry to read the negative comments about Dr. Hudani. During the twenty-odd years he's taken care of our teeth, my wife and I have developed the utmost confidence in his professionalism. He always is friendly to us and does unsurpassable work. Not only that, there's barely any wait at all. Years ago I needed a root canal, but the highly-rated specialist who'd done such work before was not available, so despite some trepidation I had Dr. Hudani do it. I was amazed: he was actually quicker than the specialist, and his work was flawless and pain-free. Another positive quality is that he is not at all like the mechanic who recommends a gasket job when all you need is an oil change: there's not a whisper of upselling in this establishment. Unfortunately I've been cursed with problematic teeth (or bad habits), so I'm at the dentist's office far too often. Sometimes the issue is simply that a tooth cracked while I was dining on a rock sandwich, or a mischievous piece of popcorn suddenly decided to blow out a tooth. Whenever an event like that occurs, Dr. Hudani is quick to see me, and every time I enter the office I feel at home (gulp!), or, more accurately, treated as a most welcome guest by admirably competent people. During such occasions, from being welcomed by Jeri to being x-rayed by Coco or Cindy (or comforted by Kim!), I somehow manage to enjoy myself. That's thanks to the personable way I'm treated and the superb, painless (after the numbing shot!) treatment I receive. The gals even put up with my ridiculous jokes, shameless flirting and uncalled-for ribbing. And I am often not billed for those quick pop-in visits. Dr. Hudani has taught dentistry classes at SC, and on a few occasions other dental professionals have praised his workmanship quite highly, which is always reassuringly pleasant to hear. Moreover, for over two decades I have visited his superlative hygienist Kim twice a year--and believe it or not I always look forward to those sessions. Kim is bright, friendly, and fun to talk to, and combined with the gorgeous nature scenes kaleidoscoping overhead on the video screen, she turns what could be some long, tedious moments into a pleasant experience. More important, she is as knowledgeable as she is conscientious, so her work is also excellent. Since most of my dental visits involve teeth-cleaning, my confidence in Kim's work is another big reason I recommend Dr. Hudani so highly. read more

I went to Dr. Hudani for years at the HB office, but decided recently to switch due to the fact that Dr. H sometimes seems to try to upsell. Boy, was I wrong. The new dentist I am now currently (and contractually) embroiled in a treatment plan with makes Dr. Hudani look like a pro-bono kinda guy. Since I can't undo the contract I signed with the other (see the scathing reviews of Dental Associates of HB), I will finish there and then return to Dr. Hudani with my tail between my legs. Of course, that can't happen for two years since the aforementioned dentist blew through two years of my dental max. I used to use Dr Hudani several years ago. I must say he had the best hygienist ever, and Hudani is a cool guy. However I did actually take issue with him. He screwed up a root canal and it cost me a shitload of money (twice) and he wouldn't even own up to the fact he screwed up. So I ended up going to an endodontist... I was an unhappy camper. I've gone to Dr. Hudani for internal bleachings and bondings. Initially, I actually didn't like his work. So he redid some of the coloring and refunded the entire cost. I'm sure I was one of those patients they hate to see since I hadn't been to the dentist in years but my cleanings and even a couple of fillings have gone smoothly and relatively painless. Dr. Hudani and his office staff are cheerful, informative, friendly and always professional. My 1st visit was a couple of years ago while I lived in H.B and I have since moved out to L.A. but I won't even entertain the thought of trying to find another dentist closer to home & work. Before discovering Ocean Dental 30+ years ago (in Torrance, before in Orange County), I bounced around to other offices in the South Bay. Many were okay in their craft and personal demeanor, and a few were even good. Yet none were as expert, thorough, attentive and overall outstanding as Dr. Hudani. And although I do not have insurance, he works with me to get all the care I need at a fair price. Kim is also by far the very best hygienist.
