After reading their excellent reviews, I decided to trust them with my gown, and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The alterations were reasonably priced, and the level of care and attention they provided was exceptional. It took about three fittings to get everything just right, and at no point did I feel rushed. Any concern or adjustment I mentioned was addressed promptly and professionally. Their goal was clearly to make sure I felt completely comfortable and confident in my dress. What stood out most was their creativity and craftsmanship. Instead of simply pinning my train behind the dress like many brides do, they were able to bustle it underneath in a way that made it look like an entirely different gown. It was absolutely stunning and gave me the best of both worlds on my wedding day. Looking back, this was one of the best investments I made throughout my bridal journey. We found Linda's tailoring using yelp, called them, and they gave us an appointment right away. The shop is nice, with some dressing rooms so you could try on your clothes then they both come in work on pinning up your clothes exactly how you wanted to fit. Then when it's correct, they give you an appointment to come back. It's all done very professionally and the quality of the work is very good. Although it ended up being much more expensive than I thought, we now have two dresses for me and one excellent suit for my guy. And all of them fit perfectly! Just like my hair I'm super picky when it comes to my clothes and I wont go anywhere else for alterations except here. The tailor's friendly, skilled, & takes the time to listen to my needs, especially when I struggle to find clothing that compliments my body type. She'll give honest feedback & suggestions, and she always has my clothes ready on time (much appreciated!). I love the look & fit of my clothes everytime I come here--it's a serious confidence booster. Side note: It's interesting how average ratings on Yelp aren't always the most accurate. She argued and argued that I did not ask for 7 inches and the turnover to make the hem caused it to only be 4 1/2 inch shorter. WOW no customer service, she just kept arguing that she was correct. I am extremely upset and looking for the owner to contact me. I brought in a rare Alexander McQueen…read moredress from the Spring 2006 Neptune collection (Style 158307). This is a high-end archival piece that sells for about $1,600 on luxury sites like 1stDibs. When I got the dress back, the sheer mesh that holds the leaf designs together was completely shredded and ripped. You can actually see the healthy mesh on one side of the dress, but on the other side, it's just gone or torn away. Now there are just frayed fibers sticking to the leaves like Velcro, which makes the dress unwearable. This was a collector's item and it was clearly not handled with the care a designer piece requires. I have photos of the damage and the 1stDibs valuation. Please reach out to me immediately so we can figure out how to resolve the cost of these damages. I am CRUSHED & DEVASTATED this dress has been in my collection for years and it is ruined now.
