Wanted to love it here since it's close by, but unfortunately, we won't be returning. We brought in a large load of blankets, a suit, and caps. When we picked them up, we noticed a very strong chemical smell with oily residue that made us call Fantastic Cleaners to ask if this was normal. While we appreciated the offer to rewash our items, it was the experience of dropping them back off that was very uncomfortable. When my husband arrived, the owner was very unpleasant, telling each of his employees to smell our items to "prove" there was no strong fragrance. It felt dismissive and unnecessary. We never asked for a rewash but were offered one, so imagine our confusion when we were treated like this when we brought our items back. Furthermore, we ended up taking our thicker blanket and white baseball caps to our previous dry cleaner in Fullerton. They were able to remove stains that this shop missed, as well as get rid of the strong fragrance and residue left by Fantastic Cleaners. I respect the owner's decades of experience, but the lack of attention to detail and the defensive treatment of customers make it hard to recommend. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. A new lady wasn't apply to apply a discount to our account when my husband picked up his clothes. She said take the clothes and she will call us when someone comes in to help her apply the discount. She called me and she was extremely nice and said the discount applied and she was ready to take payment. I'm at work so I said I'll call back. I called back in 10 minutes to pay. Someone named ALEX got very upset saying the payment needs to be done once you pick up the clothes not after. I told her I'm not sure what type of miscommunication you guys have but I informed her what happened. She said I'm aware but that can't happen again. She starts talking over me ignoring what I'm saying asking for payment. I hung up on her and had my husband call her and she did the same thing to him. Alex told him we can go somewhere else. However, after failing to notify me, I came in and they told me they would replace the shirt, with exact same shirt. 3 months later, multiple visits and calls the owner strung us along that he has ordered the exact shirt. Owner has zero customer service. Pillows came back with different issues and proceeded to blame the product and my wife for buying cheap pillows when they had different issues. One pillow with duck feather popping out everywhere and other stained with a dog like smell. The front two ladies are very nice and accommodating. I really want to like this place. The man who helped get me in their computer system was kind, and I like how they email/text you when your order is ready. Sadly, I brought in 3 pieces in, and 2 of them had issues when they were returned to me. A dress I only wore once was returned to me with a ripped seam, leaving a hole in the side, and my nice cashmere sweater, which I also haven't worn many times, came back with a hole in the back. Had an absolutely amazing experience here! I accidentally spilled either food or alcohol on an Indian outfit. Indian outfits can be very difficult to clean because they're usually made up of different fabrics and have a lot of beadwork/detailing on them. I brought my outfit to Fantastic because of their amazing reviews. I had asked them to dry clean, but they said that they made need to do a wet cleaning because of the material. I signed the waiver for the wet clean. They quoted about 3 weeks (which I was fine with since I wasn't planning on using the outfit) and a price of $45. I got an email just a few days letter saying my outfit was ready. I went in to pick it up and the stain was completely removed and the outfit was intact! Since moving to the area, I've used their service on multiple occasions. The young woman who is usually working the front desk (I can't remember her name at the moment) is always a pleasure when greeting me, and provides beyond fantastic customer service (texts updates and follows up if there are any unforeseen issues like small tears in garments that I missed). They always do an amazing job with my dry cleaning and are timely which I really appreciate (in some cases I've been in a pinch). FANTASTIC CLEANER has been dependable from the very beginning and communication is A+. All of the suits and wears I bring in are mostly handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces so it's putting a lot of trust in them and they've never let me down. As for customer service, you won't find better. It doesn't matter who's up front I've always gotten top tier treatment. Many times, I'll come in and there will be a very talkative elderly person in front of me needing to shoot the breeze (as they often do) and they never get rushed or treated curtly. I wanted to find a reputable cleaners to clean and preserve my wedding dress. I stumbled upon Fantastic Cleaner through a Google search. I decided to give them a try after thoroughly reading through reviews I found on Google and Yelp. The staff was always so helpful and texted me about my orders. One of my sweaters had a hole and they kindly asked if I'd like to get it repaired. Most dry cleaners I've been to don't even bother to ask! They'll usually just clean my clothes and don't say anything. So I deeply appreciated their attention to detail and excellent customer service. Prior to preserving and boxing my gown, they messaged me to ask me to come in to inspect the gown. A little bit of a background regarding the condition my dress was in: We had our post ceremony photos in a forest and I also decided I wanted to get a spray tan before the wedding to even out my skin tone. So the bottom of my dress was filthy and some of my spray tan rubbed onto the sleeves. To my astonishment, my dress was sparkling white! It looked the same as when I first purchased it! I was so happy!!! I don't get dry cleaning often but I read complaints about their pricing. In my opinion, their service and work are worth every penny. I'll definitely be back! read more

My 5 year old daughter got slime all over her favorite Minnie Mouse dress. The dress was tangled in slime and a complete mess. There was no way I thought the dress could ever be salvaged. I thought maybe dry cleaning was an option. I don't use dry cleaning services very often, so I didn't know where to start. I just called Fantastic Cleaner because it was close to my house. I called them prior to dropping off the dress because I wanted to confirm that they would be willing to work on the dress. Alex assured me that it could be done. I took the dress to Fantastic Cleaner within a couple of hours of speaking with Alex. She was just as professional and friendly in person as she was over the phone. Nice customer service. However, I was told I would get a phone call saturday about my dresses. Never received a call. Left a voicemail, didn't hear back for a day. Swung by the store, and found out it wasn't ready because one of the workers forgot to put a slit on my dress. I wasn't mad, and there was no rush but I was disappointed considering that I almost paid 50 dollars to dry clean one dress, and repair both dresses. When I inspected my dress, some of the coloring on the shoulders of the dress had also faded. This was not something present on the dress. Before I took it in for a dry clean, apart from the odor, the fabric was in near perfect condition despite its age. The stitching on the dress was very well done, but it was not the special type of hand-stitching that remains hidden ( a common type of sewing that is seen in vintage dresses ). The fabric does feel a lot softer now, and doesn't have a funky odor so I do give credit for that. I think I will come back for dry cleaning other things, but I probably won't take any of my dresses to be repaired there. I will probably stick to the seamstress who lives down the street from me. read more

Not to mention, it was a rushed deadline for a wedding I was attending. I was amazed at how well they took care of the dress and me.
