All four sandwiches were really tasty from the bottom tier, the middle tier was probably my least favorite, the top tier had all the sweet treats. They also offer a children's tea service which had a lot of great options. The tea was fantastic (we ordered the Darling Darjeeling), but I wish we could have gotten one tea pot per adult instead of sharing one with the tea service. My daughter loved her apple and honey tea. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and they offered hot water refills more than once which was nice. The tea room was chic and very clean. Location was a little hard to find. Waze and Google Maps took me to the back parking lot, but the signage was on the street side of the building.

They have a beautiful garden out front and they harvest the herbs and produce they grow there for their menu items. We got to try two recommended teas, the Darling Darjeeling and Moonlight Juhi. Both were delightful and full-bodied with the subtle florals complimenting each of the teas. I really enjoyed all the sandwiches and sweets that came as part of the tea set. The staff were welcoming and very knowledgeable as they described each of the food as well as the teas to us. I highly recommend coming here if you're looking to spend a lovely time celebrating something special!

The smallish parking lot was almost full when I arrived a little after 2pm, but most people were shopping for shortbread in the shop section. They have an impressive range of different types and flavors of shortbread on offer here. Reservations are required for afternoon tea, and I would recommend calling as opposed to filling out the email form on the website. I walked in to the cozy tearoom and was quickly seated. The room was cozy and the table set with items from Britain. Additionally, they had nice holiday decorations out, which lent a festive air. Service was very friendly, and we never felt neglected, even when the shop was busy. While I waited for my tea companions, I perused the tea selection. Lots of options, from fruity herbals to traditional black teas. My family soon arrived and our tea orders were taken. I went traditional in my selection of PG Tips (a British black tea blend). Each person received their own teapot, with cozy. The teapots stayed hot the entire time, which was nice. We had sugar cubes and milk to add if so desired. Everyone seemed happy with their tea selection, my niece even finished her teapot of blueberry tea. The tea tower of food came out soon after our teas. The sandwich/savory tier had both cucumber and roast beef sandwiches, along with sausage rolls. All were hearty and delicious, and the bread was soft and fresh, not dried out. A tangy mustard sauce complemented the sausage rolls nicely. Then there were three large scones, one plain and one cranberry. These were served with butter, strawberry jam and cream. The top tier consisted of fruit along with lemon curd, chocolate mousse and cream tarts, each with a shortbread base. All delicious and perfectly sized. Their was more than enough food for us, and I ended up taking quite a bit of the scones and savories home with me. The sweets were the biggest hits with my niece. After the tier was removed and boxed up, one more treat was served. It was a delicious combination of chocolate, whipped cream and a brownie base. It earned a thumbs up from my niece. I grabbed a couple shortbread treats for later on my way out. They were all rich and flavorful, as were the leftovers from the tea itself. This was a wonderful holiday treat, and a friendly and tasty introduction to afternoon tea for my niece. I will be back for some more shortbread and another afternoon tea with friends and family. Highly recommended.

Skywater Tea House in Hillsboro has a truly wonderful afternoon high tea experience…read more Everything feels thoughtful and special from the moment you sit down. The tea service is beautifully presented, with lovely tiered trays of savory bites, sweets, and pastries that make the whole afternoon feel like a real occasion. What stood out most was how relaxing and elegant the experience felt without ever seeming stiff or overly formal. The teas were excellent, and the whole service invited you to slow down and enjoy yourself. It's the kind of place that makes you want to linger, talk a little longer, and order one more pot of tea. There's a charm to Skywater that is hard to fake. It feels welcoming, peaceful, and carefully done in all the right ways. For a special outing, a celebration, or just a beautiful afternoon treat, their high tea is a delight. Five stars.

Scones were dry and somewhat flavorless. I think the new owners are of Filipino descent so there were a couple anomalies, 1. ham sandwich (which is too fatty and this should be poultry instead) and 2. The matcha thumbprint cookie just doesn't work. Matcha is strong and grassy and doesn't complement the menu. The oreo cheesecake muffin was my favorite thing. Beautiful place settings and decor- we will be back! Thank you!

The fresh flowers that she sells are so pretty and very reasonably priced Her tea cups and saucers are fantasy based and the paintings she creates are full of whimsy, lightness and blissness. Aria the owner is easy going and you can tell she's happy in the space she's created. She also has art classes here. We came here for a tea party and we got that and more. There were many unusual and delicious tea choices. From lavender grey tea to pink lemonade tea to amber bliss etc. There were tiers of goodies from little quiches to these amazing fruit cheesecake layers of awesomeness to a french bread/brie/berry jelly topped off with rosemary etc. She has some wonderful options of different flavored sugars such as ginger and lemon as an example. You may buy these wonderful delights and then include them in your tea or you can just lavish in sugar cubes. We actually ordered this amazing rose hips iced tea with frozen fruit and mint ice cubes. As part of the special tea party you also receive a lovely bouquet of flowers to take home. This, and Ms. Alice the amazing white fluffy bunny that would visit you from time to time. Romantic and delightful. It's all part of the beautiful ocean surrounding this lovely town and fits in so perfectly.

The book selection deeply impressed me, lots of cool titles I hadn't seen before anywhere else. It was amazing to get to talk with the artist and see such a wide range of artwork, SPOILER ALERT they're all gorgeous! On top of everything else, the owner teaches art classes, hosts tea parties, AND you can even book the tearoom for a baby or bridal shower. There's no end to the number of awesome things to fall in love: Alice the rabbit, artisan pastries, and the positive energy in the store (just to name a few.) Simply, you'll be blown away totally worth 5 stars and much more.
