However, if you want to actually drink tea, you can come on Tuesday's at 2 to their focused tastings. This was a great tea shop with so much tea. If you're new to tea, or don't know much, you might be a little overwhelmed. This shop focuses more on "straight" tea, and very little on flavored or scented blends (although there are a few). All the teas have tasting notes next to them, so you can get an idea of what you might be interested in. The owner Josh is super knowledgeable about everything in the store. If you're feeling overwhelmed, you can come on Tuesday's to their focused tastings. The menu changes every week. While the price might initially seem high for a cup of tea, consider that you are getting lots of and lots of resteeps and very high quality tea. Plus you can see how it is brewed if you are unsure of how to brew it yourself. They also have an online store if you are not in the area, where you can have the tea shipped to you. If you've got some time, you can also ask the shop owner about his vacuum sealing process!

The flavor was so refreshing and perfectly balanced and especially loved that it came with an actual tea bag inside, it really made it feel like a quality tea experience. As former Bay Area boba addicts (BobArea), we've had our fair share of boba and tea drinks over the years, so we're not easily impressed. This one was exceptional. We couldn't stop thinking about it, so we came back the very next morning and ordered three of the exact same drinks! That's probably the best endorsement we can give.
