I chose Glasco Heating & Air Conditioning because they were Costco's recommended HVAC contractor. In September 2024, I spent approximately $15,400 on a new Lennox heating and air conditioning system, expecting quality workmanship and customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. In December 2025, the city notified me that part of Glasco's electrical installation did not meet code requirements. Glasco had to return and correct its own installation. More recently, I discovered water beneath my HVAC unit and scheduled a service call. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Before the technician arrived, I called Glasco because the scheduling system mentioned a possible $119 service fee. I specifically asked whether I would be charged, and John assured me--twice--that my labor warranty was active through September 2027 and that I would not owe the fee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]After the technician inspected the system (and could not determine the exact cause of the water), I was told I had to pay the $119. The technician and I called John together, and he admitted he had "misspoke" because he hadn't checked my account before giving me that information.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Glasco then claimed my labor warranty had been voided because I had not completed annual maintenance. I was never clearly informed that annual maintenance was required to keep the labor warranty active, and I never received any reminder by phone, email, text, or mail. Even when Glasco returned to correct its own code-related installation issue, no one mentioned my warranty was at risk. To avoid losing warranty coverage on a $15,400 system, I felt I had no choice but to pay $275 for an air-conditioning maintenance service and schedule another paid heating maintenance appointment for September. I paid only to protect my warranty--not because I agreed with Glasco's position. A company should stand behind its workmanship and honor the information its employees provide to customers. Instead, I experienced a code violation, inconsistent communication, and pressure to purchase additional services after an employee admitted giving me incorrect information. Last year I had Glasco put in a mini split heat pump for my addition. Their quote wasn't the lowest but I had confidence they could do the job professionally and they did. The mini split has worked perfectly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This year my central air conked out so I called them for a quote to fix it. They came quickly ($120 diagnostic fee) and the technician determined that I needed a new capacitor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The quote for this repair was $750. After consulting AI, I found the capacitor for about $20 and was able to replace it myself in 15 minutes. So I felt that the proposed charge of $750 was no where near appropriate. read more

Glasco put in my furnace and air conditioner 2 years ago and at the time, I thought they did a decent job. Turned out they talked me into an AC unit I didn't actually need because the one I had was fine and I had no issues with it. The new unit they put in broke within 2 years. The fan motor needed to be replaced. The part was under warrantee but they wanted to charge me $1300 to put it in. I was told I had to go with them because they were an authorized Lennox retailer and that was their "flat rate." Fortunately, I was able to find a different authorized Lennox retailer nearby who charged me just $400 to put in the new fan motor. It took the technician 15 minutes. Do not let this company take advantage of you. Their pricing is outrageous. read more

Blatant rip-off Our 8 years old LENOX central air conditioner (still under extended warranty) stopped working 4 weeks after a maintenance visit from Glasco that installed it initially. The technicians very quickly ( 1/2 hours) identified the damaged air handler control board and recommended changing the Magnetic Float Switch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They redirected us to the headquarters for actual work pricing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The price check on the Internet resulted in 15-60$ max for the switch and the control board is covered by our extended warranty. So, we prepared ourselves for up to 500-600$ if we double the time technicians actually worked on diagnostics and repair. What we got as an estimate from Glasco was 1481.41$ !!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our request for the itemized estimate has been categorically denied after several heated and rude debates.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We understand reading Connecticut law documents (Public Act 22-104, Sec. 37.) that a contractor must provide an itemized bill with specific breakdown of cost on parts and labor. In our case we don't even know whether Glasco actually honored its obligation on extended warranty although inclusion of the cost of the control board increased it by only 200$ max. Our 8 years of relations with Glascor that we deeply regret were one long chain of deceptive practices, poor technical work, broken promises and rip-offs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]In the last conversation they have threatened to send technicians to take the installed parts off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For those who are thinking to deal with them we give a citation from the document they sent us recently: "Prior to membership cancellation your account will have to be reviewed and all benefits, discounts or service fees that were applied as a member must be paid in full." I recommend getting a second opinion before making major decisions based on this company's inspection. Glasco came for what was scheduled as a routine furnace checkup. Three people arrived, which surprised me. Shortly after starting, I was told they had "bad news" and that a crack in the heat exchanger was found using a borescope. I was told they could not show me a clear image because the camera battery had died, and a second, lower-resolution camera produced a fuzzy image. No carbon monoxide or combustion analysis report was provided. Despite this, the furnace was tagged "do not operate," shut off, and I was billed $293. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Immediately afterward, one of the individuals--who turned out to be a salesperson--was prepared to provide instant quotes for a new system, which felt high-pressure given the circumstances.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I obtained an independent second opinion from another licensed HVAC company. They performed a full combustion and CO analysis in front of me, provided a written report, and confirmed that while my system is old, it is currently safe and not leaking CO. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I contacted Glasco's salesperson and service manager, shared the independent report, and requested a refund. I also filed a BBB complaint. We have used Glasco for several years and have always been pleased with their professionalism as well as their work. We are under a maintenance contract for both heating and AC. When they came last week, there was a malfunction with air vent, were given the estimate ($1,917). They had to purchase the part and worked on it and had the problem resolved. We were then told the 'igniter' was worn down and it would need to be replaced. Since they had the part and technician was already here, we were given the estimate of $620 which we approved. He completed that work in less than 20 minutes. I asked for a receipt and expected to see the cost for the part and labor. We requested the receipt more than once and when received only the total was listed... I know that part is less than $50, and we would be ok if as a customer, we would be told what their hourly rate is (like electricians, plumbers). When I called and spoke to "John' I was told this was their flat rate, that they don't disclose the cost for parts... We feel at a minimum that the customer is entitled to have a clear itemized bill. read more

Please read this full review before choosing Glasco for your HVAC needs. There is a big problem with this company, and while there are a few positives, the negatives far outweigh them. Beware. [[HIGHLIGHT]]3 weeks ago, the circulator pump on my boiler went out, so I called Glasco to come out and fix it. They sent a technician right out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The tech proceeded to diagnose the issue, and provide me with a quote to replace. The quote was very high for a circulator pump install ($1100), but I was desperate and without heat so I accepted. During the install, the tech tells me I need a new hydrostat, which was quoted at $1400 (this, again, is incredibly high). I also foolishly accepted. The tech went ahead and installed the circulator pump, and SAID he installed the new hydrostat. Total cost = $2500. Over the next 4 days, my boilers controller repeatedly tripped off. This happened over 12 times in 4 days, leaving us without heat repeatedly, including overnight all 4 nights. We woke up freezing. I called Glasco, and they sent out 2 more techs, who said that their first tech MISWIRED the entire setup. This is the reason it kept tripping off. On top of that, the first rep never replaced the hydrostat, which I paid $1400 for!! I later found out the tech was fired. The new reps fixed the first techs mistake, replaced the hydrostat with the new one i had actually paid for, and left. 3 days later, i had my boiler tuned up with them. $400. Over the next week and a half, Glasco came back out another 4-5 times for continued issues with the boiler, including deep rumbling, smoking, and electrode issues. What was a simple circulator pump issue turned into a complete nightmare for me and my family. Luckily, they didn't charge me for any of the extra visits. Last Thursday, I went into my basement and there was water all over the floor. I called Glasco for the 8th time and they came out again. The worst case scenario....my boiler blew. Glasco sent a sales rep out to quote me on a new boiler. $14,500. This is $3,000 more than any other company i have now gotten quotes with. They offered to discount $1,700 for all the parts I already paid to replace (all of which come with a new boiler), but the end result is $1,300 more than any other company. I fully believe that the extra strain on the boiler due to the mis-wiring by the first tech caused it to fail. It was working fine up until the circulator was replaced. Since then, it never worked right again until it failed 2 weeks later. On top of that, they tried to get me to shell out almost $13,000 for a new boiler, way more than any other company, when I already paid them $2,500 for the circulator pump and hydrostat. Total cost would be over $15,000. Ridiculous. Not only is this company incredibly overpriced, they are dangerous. They ruined my heating system and then tried to charge me an incredible amount to replace the boiler that they had a hand in breaking. Beware!!!!! read more

Our natural gas / force hot air furnace was on its last legs. It struggled to start and we were concerned about going into the heating season. We did our due diligence and got multiple quotes.The owner, Paul Russo made a house call. He took measurements and provided a quote the same day. Glasco was $1,100 less than the next lowest quote. That included the discount received because we went through Costco. He answered all of our questions professionally. We accepted his proposal and booked the installation appointment. The crew arrived within the week. The install went smoothly. The two guys worked very well with each other. Never missing a beat, they had a positive caring attitude and got the job done within 5 hours. They took time to clean up as they went along. This company has so many bad reviews that it seems almost redundant to include still another. We had Glasco replace the coil in our geothermal system in December 2022, at a cost of $5,100. When we turned on the a/c this year we found water all over the basement floor. Their first service technician blamed a drain pump, cleaned it, and was gone in fifteen minutes. That was not the problem. A subsequent service visit three days later revealed that the drip pan under the coil was broken and the coil itself had been bent on installation. The drip pan drain was clogged and instead of the system shutting down (a common occurrence), the water had backed up and was flowing out of the broken pan. The company would not admit that the pan could only have been broken when they installed the coil and insisted that their "warranty" was for only 60 days. No one, including the owner, would return calls or come out to review the problem their poor quality work had caused. Instead, they gave us an estimated for $3,100 to fix the damage they had done to our system. Poor quality work. Poor customer service. Poor company. Hire this company if you want incompetent performance, dishonest and rude customer service, and a whole lot of stress. My family was selling our home and needed an HVAC tune-up for the closing. We called Glasco and scheduled the routine maintenance for two weeks before the closing. Before they showed up for this routine maintenance, our heating service was functioning perfectly. When they arrived at 9am, they had to shut off our heat, which is normal. However, after cleaning the system, they were unable to restart it. The technician admitted the furnace was operating fine when he arrived and wasn't sure what the problem was. He eventually decided he needed to replace a pump. A 2nd technician arrived and later a 3rdfor this routine job (who are they hiring to work for them??). They finally got it going again by 6pm. NINE HOURS without heat in the middle of January! Importantly, before they left, the technicians told us in person AND our realtor over the phone that the system was all set, back in good working order, and that they would email a detailed invoice immediately (this was important because we needed to disclose this invoice to the buyers as soon as possible). We did not receive the invoice until 3 days later after having to follow up. Shockingly, the invoice stated that there was a bad Tiger loop in our oil line. A week before our closing, and now we had to scramble to repair something that was previously working, after they lied and told us our furnace was good to go at the end of the initial service day. Several days and $472 later (not including the cost of cost of the initial tune-up, which we obviously were expecting to pay), we were back to our original position - a working furnace. We were in contact with the Glasco office a couple times during the whole process, requesting a resolution while expressing frustration over their service, as well as a refund of the $472 repair that THEY caused. We got literally nowhere, except for more stress and aggravation. The secretary clearly has never heard of the words "customer service." She refused to let us speak with their service manager, explaining he was too busy to speak with us or call us back. At other times, she was plain rude, accusing us of lying and insisting that they did a good job. We have lots of friends and family in this area. Glasco can rest assured that none of them will ever be hiring them for their HVAC needs. EDIT added in response to owner's remarks: It's nice to finally hear from the management/ownership team, considering the manager was always too busy to come to the phone when we called to voice our concerns. Given the condescending tone of your response, it's clear that poor customer service is fostered from the top down in your organization. The functioning tigerloop broke while the furnace was in your company's care and control. In plain terms, your company broke a part and then demanded that the customer pay $472 to repair it. This is the whole point of our frustration and criticism of your company. The fact you don't get this is baffling. Instead, you want a pat on the back for driving to the supply house to get parts? You want commendation for not charging for the repair of a part that was working just fine before your company showed up? Regarding sending the invoice, your company had a computer issue that was causing the invoices to not be emailed out. We discovered this after the repair, when Mark (the only individual in your company who was friendly and professional) tried sending the invoice while standing right next to me, yet I wasn't receiving it. He had to call the office and have them send it manually. But that's OK, just go ahead and blame the customer and tell them they're wrong, as your company seems to prefer doing. You conclude that your company did not "give in" to our demands for free service. It's odd that you approach this as some sort of battle, in which you either must win or lose / "give in." Glasco is in the service industry. If you're not providing good service, a customer has the right to call you out on it. Your company broke a part of our furnace and then unfathomably charged us a lot of money to replace that part. The average joe does not have much recourse against a corporation that acts unfairly. Short of legal action, all we can do is write a review to warn others of our experience. Prior to writing this review, we simply offered your company a chance to make things right. Our a/c was making a loud noise and not very cold. We have used Glasco before and they have been fine. We left a message on Sunday and called first thing Monday to make sure they received our message and repeated the need for service. We never heard and called again Tuesday and spoke to the same person. She said they received 100 calls Monday and were still working on a schedule. Later in the day I saw my neighbor outside who said they need a new a/c unit. I asked how she knew and she said Glasco came out. She called Tuesday and they were their Wednesday!!! What happened to my call back scheduling from Monday!!! Someone in our neighborhood was exceptionally please with a HVAC company and gave her the number. They made a service call at 7pm and then stopped at my house, assessed and repaired!!! Great guy-knowledgeable, fair and honest! Good bye Glasco!!! read more

We were forced to evacuate the house after our carbon monoxide and smoke detectors went off. Basement was smoky. Called 911 and shut off all burners. Fire department recorded carbon at 170+ ppm. Fans were deployed to expel the air. Glasco called in again and this time the service manager showed up. A faulty adjustment to the burner in the Glasco installed and serviced furnace was identified as the cause of the carbon monoxide and smoke. Service manager explained how the adjustment might have gone wrong and asked me to take down this review. No comment on the cascade of other problems since the service visit a week earlier, none of the facts in this review disputed (Carbon monoxide poisoning is deadly. We are glad our detectors worked, but Glasco put our lives at risk. I would have called a different company, but we were facing an emergency.) **UPDATE: Day 6, Monday. No heat on the first floor, confined to upstairs bedrooms, where heat was restored. Technician worked on unit and replaced the nozzle Glasco had installed earlier in the week. Heat back by mid afternoon. *UPDATE: Day 5, Sunday, and we are still cold. A technician came to the house yesterday, and he claimed the part needed to fix the two-year-old furnace Glasco sold me was unavailable until the office reopens on Monday. After posting on social media about our experience with Glasco, a new technician was dispatched to our house with the "unobtainable" part. Well, soon after he left, a large rumble shook our house and the second unit Glasco serviced stopped working. The on-call technician says nothing can be done before Monday. We had functioning HVAC all year. Glasco showed up on Wednesday and it's been a cascade of problems ever since. We have been stuck in a cold house on a long holiday weekend waiting for service appointments. Please, listen to me: we are tied to these guys now, but you do not have to make the same mistake. Do not purchase a system or sign an agreement with Glasco!* We have a furnace that was purchased from and installed by Glasco two years ago. We were told that we needed to sign a service contract with them to maintain the warranty. This week, a Glasco technician broke the furnace during a routine maintenance visit under the contract. After waiting for almost two weeks to have Paul come to evaluate replacing the mechanicals in my home (HVAC), I was disappointed to witness a completely non-scientific approach to quoting. He visually looked at (not the same as "inspected") all of the components and without ever calculating heat load of the house, volume of the ducts, or airflow requirements stated that the ducts were "in good condition" and would not need any work with a new system. This is in DIRECT conflict with other vendors that have specifically stated that the ducts were sized marginally at best BEFORE the existing system had been added on to and were definitely not adequate for the amount of airflow required. The lack of air volume through the ducts is also why I have issues with the heat short-cycling once the house is up to temperature. I've read numerous reviews of this company doing rushed, shoddy work (on other sites) and was very apprehensive about having them provide an estimate and I now can confirm that they do not correctly evaluate the job before signing on for it. One other area of my experience that I have to take issue with is that I specifically asked for multiple quotes with different options while Paul was here as well as after receiving the initial quote - I never got them. read more

Incompetent. Glasco installed a new furnace in our home, which began having problems in the very first year. Over the past several years, they have made nearly a dozen service visits and have never corrected the initial problems. Was recommended by a neighbor after I hired them, which made me feel more secure in my decision, and found that both of us were right. They came in the cheapest, and gave us the best warrantee of all the other contractors that gave me estimates. And there was no sales pitch! Their installation only took two days, and they made sure everything worked properly, and we both knew how the system operated. The only gripe I had was the guy that made the block off plate for the air inlet cut it too big, and I had to trim it to fit. No big deal. Especially when you consider the fact they gave me an 18 SEER unit for the same price as the 16 SEER that I originally ordered. The unit runs so quiet, you can't hear it from inside the house, nor can you hear any air movement. It actually froze us out until we were able to properly set the thermostat. Many mishaps during this installation: 1. Existing Zoning panel was fried during install and not recognized until the crew left. Was without a functioning AC for over 10 days because they wanted to order a cheap replacement instead of installing one they have in stock. 2. Pipe set for one of the two system was not replaced and crew was not honest about it until I found it later. 3. Unknowedgable sales person who determined wrongly without checking that I don't have enough wires for a wireless thermostat. 4. Extremely unresponsive service manager who completely dropped the ball and would not return my calls. I had to file a complaint with Costco to get them to respond. Our Daikin Heat Pump went out. The company that we purchased the unit from no longer services residential. I contacted Daikin and was referred to Glasco. We have two unit s and one is working perfectly fine. I called Glasco and scheduled a service visit. It took the service guy an hour to get to the board on the outside component and another hour to diagnose. He spent the time on the phone with a service rep as he didn't know how to do it himself. He had to leave and another service tech came and said the inside board was bad as well. Both boards were ordered. Weeks went by and no confirmation that the boards were ordered. After several calls I got the confirmation. We got a bill for over $2,000. They came and installed the boards, and then told us the motor was bad. They ordered another motor and charged us another call about $700. They installed the new motor, and a couple of days later, the unit isn't working. They came back and said they would get a replacement board for the outside. There was no charge for the second board under warranty. A week later the unit stops working again from the same L4 error code. Now we are out about $3,000 and the unit is still NOT working. The service tech are on their phones with someone else getting instructions. It appears they do NOT know what they are doing I would not recommend this company if you have a Daikin unit read more

'm both really surprised and disappointed with Glasco. Requested for a quote to install Rinnai tankless water heater RUR199iN which costs $1918+tax..so roughly $2000 incl. tax. The individual who came to evaluate confirmed the install is pretty straight forward and basic as we already have a 1" natural gas pipeline coming in , there is a floor drain within feet for condensate drain (already being used for the furnace), there is a power outlet within 4 or 5 feet and the vent needs to be run horizontally for 8 feet to vent out through a 4" wall to exterior. The cost quoted by Glasco in one line on the quote is staggering $5995 before $300 utility rebate which comes out to $3995 for install. Unbelievable, as this is after the guy told me it will be ~$1500 when he left. He was also not very interested doing tankless and tried to steer me towards tank. For comparison, another master plumber quoted 4-5 hours of labor and ~ $800-$900 including parts. Site visit happened on Thursday for which I have to stay home and supposed to get the quote the next day..nothing till Tuesday evening till I reached out to remind that waiting for the quote. Also, the person told me at least 3 weeks for the install once order is placed which is excessive , especially the $3995 install price. Glasco appears to be a ripoff and watch out to make sure you get quotes from multiple parties before deciding to go with them to save money and headache. I can't speak to the quality of the work as I'm not moving forward with them. Hope this helps anyone looking for their help with water heater install. Our 20-year-old oil-burning furnace and a/c unit both died this fall. My wife and I wanted to replace the furnace with a propane-burning one, which of course is more expensive and more involved than just replacing with another oil-burner. We got quotes from three different companies. One of them didn't even come out to our house; they just gave a quote over the phone. The second one spent about 10 minutes and rushed off to another job. Glasco spent about 45 minutes carefully inspecting our current situation, offering and explaining the pros and cons of different options, pointing out different parts of our HVAC system that we'd want to consider replacing, and patiently answering the numerous questions I had. Of the three companies, Glasco gave the highest quote, but that's partly because in addition to the furnace & a/c replacement, they were going to do a few duct repairs as well as remove my old hot water heater which I hadn't used in ten years since I have a tankless water heater. The Glasco gentlemen who did the install were just as professional, nice, and trustworthy as the rep who gave the quote. There was one tiny issue with two temperature zones being wired up to the wrong ducts. I called them the evening I realized it, and they sent someone out the next day who fixed it in just a few minutes. No charge of course. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, friendliness, and thoroughness of all the Glasco employees. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who wants quality workmanship. read more

I am purchasing a house that currently has asbestos ducting in the basement. I got a quote to have it removed and was looking for a quote to get new ductwork put in. I called Glasco on a friend's recommendation and explained the situation and they got all weird and said they "can't work with someone who isn't the homeowner" telling me "you are welcome to call back when you own the house!" I repeated that we are planning to get the ductwork replaced but we need a quote BEFORE we buy the house so we will know how much we can ask off the price of the house for a concession. They said "well we can't give you a quote over the phone [duh? do I seem like an idiot to them?] and we would need to get into the house to give you a quote, which we can't do unless you are the owner." I told them that wasn't a problem as we can go over with the realtor; we already had a guy come look at the asbestos-covered ducts to give us a quote for the removal. As soon as I solved that problem it became clear that that was just an excuse, since I was then told "sorry... we just really can't work with anyone but the owner." after which I was basically hung up on. I'm not sure why they didn't want my business, but the weird and slightly dishonest way they went about this conversation really turned me off from this company. Don't tell me you "can't" do something for a specific reason (like needing to get into the house) and then when I solve that issue just say you can't do it anyway even though that reason is no longer valid. I have used them on a number of occasions with great reward! They replaced 2 oil burners with 2 gas heating systems in a 2 family house. Reduce the heating costs tremendously. Had a number of quotes from other competitors a Glasco was competitive and the service was outstanding! read more

I do not write reviews very often,p. Maybe 3 in my lifetime. However I think this is merited. I would highly recommend Glasco a/c and Heating for the following reasons. My A/c carrier Central air Fan went DOA last Friday in 89 degree heat. It was 9 years of age . Glasco ladies sent out the tech rep Jon who tried to get it started by using a turbo boost and spinning the fan with a screwdriver . However it failed after 2 hours. Will Ortiz the service manager as always been there for Glasco customers. I know this to be true because I bought my carrier system from them 9 years ago. Last year my compressor went and Will had a new one installed and it was within tithe warranty and he spoke to carrier and had it installed 2 weeks later. i found will to be honest and fair and decisive. I did have to pay for installation which I understand as it did take as I recall 3 or 4 hours. However , this time the fan went and still covered except for installation. Will, did not leave me hanging. As busy as they are will and the Glasco tech mike was here today and put the installed and replaced the fan. So within a week 2 techs were here and did the analysis and a very good job. I might aid that will credited me for the $80.00 labor charged when the first time the fan did not work after the boost. I had an issue over the winter with my combination furnace and A/C unit and called Glasco to come out to repair the unit. The unit was not repaired and I ended up having Glasco come out 4 (maybe 5) times in a period of 3 months to try to fix a 3 year old unit in a new townhome. Now when it has gotten warm, the unit broke down again so I had Glasco come out to repair the unit, and it worked for about 10 days and is now broken again. I have decided to use a different company moving forwards, as it seems that I have had multiple issues with this company saying that they have fixed issues that are not fixed, costing me over a thousand dollars in repairs for a relatively new A/C unit. I am not sure if the technicians are not properly trained on repairing A/C units and furnaces or what the true issue is. This is not the first home that I have owned, not the first time I have dealt with HVAC companies, and I have never had issues like this before with a repair company. Please use caution as my experience has been challenging to say the least and I will not use this company in the future. read more

We also had a recommendation for Glasco for doing a retrofit installation of central air. A representative came out and gave us an estimate which was a good value. Then Glasco sent out a tech to do a final, more detailed inspection of our house. Turned out our house was also more of a challenge to retrofit, and we had to leave one room without a/c. A few weeks later, 2 installers came to do the work. One of them - Mark - was amazing - he did most of the work and was so meticulous. Can't say enough about him - he's the guy you want doing the work in your house. Other than a few issues with office staff not following up with phone calls early on in the process, we would highly recommend Glasco to install central air, because the installers are really what count! read more

We have been Glasco customers for several years. Glasco replaced our old air conditioning unit and also changed our heating system from oil to gas. Both projects went very well - Gasco did a great, on-time job. Glasco also does the yearly maintenance for our furnace and two air conditioning systems. Scheduling is very easy; everyone is helpful, and we consistently receive great service. [In fact, I decided to write this review after our annual air conditioning maintenance was done this week]. Last year, one of our air conditioning units stopped working during the summer and Glasco fixed it as soon as it was possible (a new motor had to be ordered but one of the managers was out here immediately and kept us informed of the arrival of the new motor; once it arrived, Glasco came back to install it immediately). Glasco also installed the pipes in our basement after an asbestos abatement company failed to properly install the new pipes. Glasco immediately helps us whenever we have a problem, and we couldn't be happier with their services. read more

Our old gas furnace (24 years old) recently bit the dust (overflow leaking and not responding to call for heat or stopping heat). Got an estimate to repair, and decided it was better to put that money towards a new furnace. Called Glasco Heating and Paul came out immediately (on a Tuesday). He was super - not hard sell, and listened to what our heating needs were. Two days later, we were having a new furnace installed, along with a new gas hot water heater (figured that would go as soon as the furnace was done). I can't say enough about how great Glasco was - responsive owners, super installers (they weren't happy with the way the relay was functioning when they did the install, and came back the next day with a new relay), and a one year warranty on their work (plus the manufacturer's warranty). We plan to use Glasco for yearly maintenance, and highly recommend them! read more

We had a bad experience with another hvac contractor. Contacted Glasco due the the excellent reviews on the web. They quoted us a fair price--way below the other firm. They did excellent work. Jason was the tech and he is knowledgable and did great work. AC now working great. Other dealer tried to sell us a new system even though ours was only nine years old and still under warranty. read more
