After all of the fittings, when I finally did get my permanent dentures I was very pleased. They fit perfectly with no irritation or issues. In addition to having a few dental issues, I also have dental anxiety, which causes me to ask a million questions :) Dr. Mullarkey is always patient, compassionate and thorough. She makes me feel at ease because I'm confident I'm in good hands. Lastly, the office staff is great. After 45 minutes of waiting, I asked an assistant when the doctor would be available and she rudely asked me, "how much time do you want or have"? No apology or understanding in her expression. I then explained to her that I'd been waiting for nearly an hour and that is when she finally brought the doctor. The doctor explained to me that it was her first day and she was double booked. What upset me is the complete lack of regard or respect for someone else's time. If you are aware that you'll be with another patient for another hour, it is your responsibility to inform the other patient who is waiting for you. Standard cleanings have gone really well. Recently, my daughter fell off of her bike and landed on her face. Everything seemed fine until two weeks later when one of her front teeth started turning gray. We called the office and were reassured that all should be fine, teeth bruise, and as long as long as she is not in pain and her gum looks ok we can wait until her next exam which was only a week and a half away.
