Absolutely the best money I have ever spent. Saying goodbye to Pria was still hard, but having the in-home euthanasia meant we could do it in the place she knew and loved. She didn't have to make one last stressful trip to the vet or wonder why she was there. She was home, surrounded by the people she trusted, on her favorite blanket. That made letting her go a little easier. She is with her old buddy, Guinness now. Justin was great and took his time. We didn't feel rushed at all. I am totally convinced this is the way to do it. A+++ service.

Saying goodbye to our beloved pets is always so difficult, but Dr. Altman and Robin are so incredibly kind and understanding. They allowed our family to make all the decisions of exactly where we wanted to be, who would be there with her, and there was no time pressure at all. Dr. Altman has a heart of gold and when it is time for him to leave with your baby, he treats them exactly the way you would. I've used their service for two of our pets now and highly recommend them for anyone going through this difficult time.

There are no words that would fully communicate how grateful I am for Always With Us. The seamlessness from Transitions Vet to Always With Us was exactly what I needed at a time of such distress. I needed it to be easy and effortless as I grieved. That is exactly what it was. Every interaction I had with them was so kind and gentle. I really appreciated the information they left with us (photo included). We got a paw print, an urn with his ashes and a ring with his paw print on them. All of them turned out perfect. It all took about 6 weeks, which was 100% worth it. I wear the ring with another I got on Etsy and it's perfect. Thank you so much for being so comforting and assisting my beloved Stanley transition from this life to the next. I can't express how wonderful you all are.

I was able to get them to come out to help my Kikie dog pass as she was in distress. They were going to help her pass over and take her for cremation. She passed with us laying together and then called to say I just needed the pick up. Not a problem. Got my girls ashes back in a beautiful box. They were very caring and helpful.

I can't express enough how much comfort Dr. Altman and Robin Altman provided me during the most difficult times. I had three fur babies who were my whole life. Three years ago, when I had to say goodbye to my first baby, I entrusted Dr. Altman and Always with Us (Robin) for aftercare, and I was not disappointed. Dr. Altman was incredibly compassionate, providing me with the explanations and time I needed. Robin's work was amazing and meticulous, and her demeanor is so gentle; you can tell she truly cares. Three years later, I lost my other two babies, a month apart, and I was completely distraught. Once again, Dr. Altman was amazing, especially with my third baby. She had blankets and toys ready as I laid her in the car. Thanks to Robin, who once more provided me with excellent service and created beads for me, I can now have them constantly with me around my neck.

Pets are like family members and losing one is never easy. They deserve the best of care which is why we opted for in home euthanasia and aquamation with Transitions Veterinary Services and Always With Us. Hershey was surrounded by loved ones and passed away peacefully in our arms at home on Dec. 3, 2023. This morning we received Hershey's ashes. Thank you Justin and Robin at Transitions Veterinary Services and Always With Us for taking care of our beloved Hershey and being so compassionate during a difficult time.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Altman and this service. I had to say goodbye to my best boy, Jack, on 4/5/2025. Dr. Altman was so compassionate and kind on the worst day of our lives and we will never forget it. I received my pups ashes today along with his fur and a paw print. They did a beautiful job and I will recommend them to anyone else who has to go through this. Thank you Dr. Altman and Always With Us! We are so grateful to you for taking care of our boy.

I just picked up my Auggie Doggie. Having to say good bye to a loved pet, part of the family, is more than simply difficult. It's heart-wrenching. The loving professionals of Always With Us were more than understanding. They were kind and loving. I highly recommend them when the sad times comes to say goodbye. If you're reading this, and you are losing your beloved pet, I'm so sorry for that situation.

Its also clear to us that he loves his work and has great affection and empathy for the animals he works with. We could tell we had someone caring for Ziggy who could provide that care in a loving and thoughtful manner. Josh sent us daily updates on our trip and even taught our dad Eddy (house-sitting non-cat-person) some tricks on how to improve Ziggy's oral fluid intake. Without Josh's help the trip would have been impossible. And with the compassionate manner in which he provided care we were able to be relaxed on our trip without worrying about our little guy. We are so thankful to Josh for his help with Ziggy!

After days of vet visits, we found out she had a tumor on her spleen, blood had leaked into her abdomen, and cancer had spread all throughout her organs. The vet said there was nothing they could do and that she needed to be put down. My husband and I had had her since she was 6 weeks old and we did everything with her and her little black lab sister (hiking, camping, dog beach, etc.). We expected to have several more years with her and were completely and utterly devastated that we had to put her down. Tranquil Tails went above and beyond. The doctor and the technician arrived at our house and immediately got down on the ground with us and pet our dog and spoke to her with such kindness and love. They were so soft spoken and gently explained the process to us. After sedating her, we were given time alone to say our goodbyes. After she passed, they discreetly covered her up and took her to their car on a gurney. They gave me a hug and sincerely told me how sorry they were for our loss. A week and a half later, a nice young woman hand delivered a very nice box to our home filled with our dog's ashes, a clay paw print, fur clippings, a nose prints and a nice letter. They made such a difficult and heartbreaking experience easier and I could not be more grateful to them for the love and care they provided.

I unfortunately didn't make note of their names, but they quietly knocked on our door as my family sat around feeding Lola some whip cream and chocolate. Moments after the last medication was provided, she was at peace. We are so thankful we found Tranquil Tails to provide such a calming experience for Lola and our family. I did not end up going with this service, but I felt it was necessary for me to write about what I was told on the phone call, and how I was addressed. I was already struggling with the decision. My 11.5 year old pup suddenly came down with pericardial effusion with a very poor, and short-lived prognosis. I had to make my decision with only a couple of days to research. When I called this place, it was around 4:00pm. I don't remember who was on the phone, but the woman who picked up made me feel like I shouldn't have been calling or that I was interrupting something. I get that we all have bad days in customer service jobs, and maybe this was just a bad day for this person. It was, however, one of the worst days of my life, and I still tried to be kind and reiterate my answers to her questions. I asked about specific verbiage on the website and to clarify what it meant, and I was met with something like "It is exactly as described on the website, did you re-read it?" and I was immediately taken aback. I was trying to get information on pricing, and how the procedure might go since my dog's physical condition was sensitive and fragile. She told me that if I was this concerned I should be going to an actual veterinary office to inquire, but that their veterinarians are very qualified to perform the procedure. Everything felt oddly defensive. I was having a hard time keeping my tears away during the call, and she kept telling me she couldn't understand me when I asked for a moment. Then, she told me if I wanted the doctor to come to my house right now, she'd need to charge me an insane extra fee. I understand after-hours fees, but we hadn't even gotten to appointment scheduling yet. I asked if I could think about it and get back to her, and she said yes, but I she would only hold my appointment slot for 30 minutes for the following morning if I wanted to do that. And, if she didn't hear back in 30 minutes. I'd have to call and reschedule a different day because the doctors are "very very busy". I felt like I was being rushed along without receiving much comfort or consultation, this is the first time I've ever sought-out an at-home pet euthanasia, so I was hoping for some guidance. Overall, this felt extremely callous, and I am so glad I went with a different service who made me feel cared for and were very accommodating and professional. The other service also fully articulates the fees they charge on their website with no hidden fees. Hard pass on this place; I see all these 5-star reviews, so hopefully my experience was just an anomaly.
