She could not be nicer or more compassionate, she has a gentle, warm energy. She sat on the floor with my sweet girl and listened to stories about her. If you're like me, you didn't realize how suddenly your pet would need end of life care. Long story short, Dr. Shana was an angel sent to us in our most desperate moments. She is kind, compassionate, gentle, and quite simply the only person I would want assisting our pets through a peaceful death. Longer story, our 15 year old pitbull mix went downhill so suddenly that we were left scrambling to find in-home euthanasia services. Not only was it difficult having to call place after place and explain our situation, but some of the places had really high prices that made us feel like we'd have to turn to in-hospital euthanasia, and most were not able to come for several days. We really wanted to give Murphy the comfort of dying in his own home but he was in serious pain and we couldn't wait 2 or 3 days.
