If you're looking for authentic Thai food made by Thai people, this is definitely the spot. We ordered the fried snapper, Tom Kha, curry beef, Pad Thai, wings, and fried shrimp rolls, and every single dish was excellent. The food was so good that I didn't even get a chance to take pictures before half of it was already eaten! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and despite being a small restaurant, they were incredibly busy with dine-in customers, delivery orders, and pickups. Even with the rush, the food came out quickly, and the team handled everything smoothly without missing a beat. The only downside was that I came with my toddler, and they don't have any high chairs. It made it a bit of a hassle to keep him seated while we ate. I also noticed another family dealing with the same issue. I highly recommend that they purchase at least a couple of high chairs to keep on standby for families with young children. Other than that, it was a great experience. If you are looking for good food this is it! Not the best ambiance, so you are looking for just good food this is it. I had a family dinner here first time and was skeptical at first trying new food because it is always a hit or miss. When I find restaurant that suits me, I am always loyal because they come out right and accommodates the way I need it. This restaurant was just diagonally across from my favorite Thai restaurant & and have a whole range of all the options that other Thai restaurant would have. The flavor is right and is in a cozy Thai neighborhood, which adds to the great cultural experience. Am Thai Bistro is a hidden gem in Brooklyn. This spot serve authentic Thai food and amazing cocktails. Every dish we tried was incredible. The fish was huge ( didn't expect that lol ) , the Mango salad was super refreshing, and the Khao soi had so much flavor. My niece has been a fan of this establishment for years. She was in love with the place. I would visit sporadically nothing to complain about it really. Then my niece and family moved to Florida.
