I came here to fix a broken zipper on an expensive old down vest ($1000+). I don't know anything about zippers, and since I had the parts that fell off, I thought it would be a quick fix. Well, fixing a zipper is no such thing, as I found out quickly. I went to 2-3 spots. One dry cleaner nearby said they could do it, but I have to provide the zipper. Another shoe fixing spot said they had no idea how to fix zippers but pointed me to Amador Cleaners. This is all to say I was apprehensive going in. The person, like the two other spots I had gone to, told me it would be a pain, but she could do it. The only catch was she wouldn't give a price. I asked her for a range and she said "$50, $60 to $100" depending on the difficulty. I don't love those types of answers, but had to get it fixed, and a month later (and much anxiety on my part), my vest zips again. The cost was on the low end of the range and the whole experience-- with me not knowing anything about the process and this lady knowing everything about it & an open price that turned out to be beyond fair-- has made me think about giving people the benefit if the doubt. 5 stars, really trustworthy read more

Very disappointed. I had them clean a new dress ( never worn but it was creased and satin) I got it back with black streaks. They claimed they "couldn't take the stains off" I was surprised because there were no stains when I dropped it off. I checked the stains and it was black and crusty and came off when I scraped it! So I gave it back and asked them to re-clean it. They returned it with the black residue removed but it left a stain behind. I do like their tailoring do I gave them my jeans to hem and a coat (clean) to change the buttons. Only for tailoring. They did the tailoring and charged me $49 because they dry clean my already clean coat and reduced it to $41. My receipt also shows only alteration read more

Im a seasoned shoe repairman who works a block away from this dry cleaners and recently referred a customer here for a vislon zipper replacement on an expensive lightweight jacket .... we did not have the zipper in stock and ordering one would take to long because the customer needed the repair completed in short order .... suffice it to say not only did the skilled woman who replaced the zipper do it on time but the customer even came back to my shop and showed me her flawless workmanship and for an extremely reasonable price well below what our shop charges ..... I even called the lovely lady on the phone praising her excellent service and craftsmanship .....I'm sorry I forgot her name .... Do not go here unless you want to get ripped off. Brought my long white dress to get dry cleaned- it's a very simple white dress. When I took it in the lady behind the counter quoted me for $25-$30. When I went to go pick up a different lady was working and rung me up, tried to charge me $95 bc she automatically deemed it a wedding dress. I explained I was quoted $25-$30 and I'm simply not paying $95. She kept bartering and just to get out of there succumbed to $60...but expressed this was terrible, untruthful business and I would never be back. We've been going here for over 9 years. When we first started there, there was one or two ladies who was usually there and friendly. In 2017 the owner expanded to have another cleaner in San Ramon - that's when service started to suffer, but the hours were reasonable and turn-around usually 3 days. Fees average and meh service but we've been going there so long it's just habitual. Since COVID we rarely needed dry cleaning so we just kept them even though their service was bad (finding workers increasingly difficult)). We only went there quarterly during COVID vs 2x a month previously. It's not the $9 per shirt or $16 per pants but (price similar to SAME day service elsewhere) they said it would be done in 1 week - 7 full days!!!!! They even took down their price so if you don't bring in the slip they could charge you higher rate. Hours are now reduced too. Time to find a NEW cleaner! read more

First time I went they said $2.75 for each shirt to be laundered. Second time I went they said $16 for a linen shirt and &9 for a regular shirt . They then went on to say $16 for a pair of pants . I asked for a price list and they said they do not have one . So I think they charge what they want depending on who walks in what they feel like . I am never ever going there again read more

My favorite dry cleaners! I've been coming here for a little over 2 years and I have no complaints. My clothes are always done on time with no issues, the workers are so friendly and always provide good service. They do an amazing job on dry cleaning and alterations - I got my bridesmaid dress altered here on tight notice and they CAME THROUGH! The dress was the perfect length I wanted, no more no less. Honestly, even with inflation with COVID, they've kept their prices pretty consistent and reasonable and it's worth it. Highly recommend if you live nearby! Such a gem. read more

Why am I reviewing a dry cleaner? Because to me customer service is the top factor in my repeat business to any establishment. I have been using them for about a year, and have experienced fantastic customer service that goes above the status quo. For example, they noticed that a button was broken on one of my nicer work shirts, and fixed it for free. Another time, they noticed my hem was coming out of my pants and called me to see if they wanted to me take care of it. They also have a knack for getting out tough stains I get on my shirts from other more typically-yelped businesses : ) Good service like this goes a long way to retaining repeat customers such as myself. Terrible, terrible, terrible! Dropped off my shoot earlier this week to be cleaned and have the pockets sewn, I was told it would be ready at 5 o'clock on Wednesday. Came in on my lunch break at 5:30 and as she was ringing me up, I looked at my suit and I noticed that the pocket hadn't been sewn. When I pointed it out, All she said was oh l, they didn't do it. I told her I was on my lunch break and I was going to be late for work and I didn't have time to come back because I'm going out of town, she said it would take two minutes to do the sewing. As she was sewing the pocket, I looked over my suit jacket. I noticed there were still bits of my girlfriends dog hair on it and pieces of fuzz. I also smelled the suit and it did not smell clean, it had the same faint odor from normal wear before I took it in. She insisted the suit had been cleaned(absolute lie)! I said that's amazing considering it still smells and has pet hair and fuzz on it. She then showed me the shoddy job she did sewing up the pocket and mumbled some excuse. So, for $25 I got an incredibly poor sewing job done on my nice suit that I'm going to have to have done again by someone competent. It seems to me they simply pressed the suit if anything, I'm not really sure. The suit wasn't really dirty, I just figured because I needed the pocket sound that I would get it dry cleaned. Sigh...another disappointment close to home. We were regulars for dry cleaning until one visit when they lost my husband's favorite shirt. When I called the lady at the store she said it was not possible for them to lose the shirt because they count the items before handing the items over, but because we had separate visits because we dropped off a number of items and not everything was ready on the same day, we grabbed what was ready and didn't double check the number of items we received back. We had to come back on 4 separate occasions because 1) they didn't have our items on the day that it was promised 2) came back the next day to pick up a portion of the dry cleaned items and not all of the hemming items were ready so we had to go back on another visit 3) pick up the rest of the items, so we thought! Then my husband realized a few days later that he never received his favorite shirt back from dry cleaning which initiated my call to them to check if they had it. Then the lady was adamant she was correct and counted the items before sending us off, which I said, I don't know what happened, but would just like for her to double check to see if they had it because mistakes do happen! There was so much hesitation to do so and the end result, they found the shirt! So visit 4) for the drop off, we pick up the "lost" shirt. I'm reluctant to give 1 star, they weren't that horrible depending on which person you deal with. They also did a wonderful job on alterations on my jeans. They are just a bit unorganized there. I'll keep dropping off my alterations for my jeans, but as for my husband's shirts, I'll have to try to find another dry cleaner in the area. read more

They always do a great job here and are very friendly. I like how they do alterations as well. Everything from hemming pants to taking in the waists of jackets...no job seems to be too big. Even though we live in Dublin, we drive to Pleasanton and drop our clothes off at this cleaners because we like them so much. read more

Yesterday I called this cleaner and a woman answered. I said, "I have 2 pairs of cargo pants I need hemmed. Do you do alterations?" Woman, "Yes." I said, "How much would that be?" She replied, "$14." I said, "Is that for both or each?" She replied, "$14 for both." I immediately drove to the cleaners and placed the 2 pairs of pants on the counter. She placed her hand on the top pair and said, "$12.50." For a split second I thought I was getting a bargain and then I wasn't too sure. I asked, "$12.50 for both or each?" She said, "12.50 each." I said, "Why did you tell me $14 for both on the phone?" She picked up one pant leg of the top pair, shook it and said, "$14 for both." I was mad and asked her, "Who the heck gets a quote for and hems only one leg?" I left with my pants and went to a cleaners that doesn't pull bait and switch and can communicate. I took a expensive blouse to be cleaned i have been using this cleaners for about 3 years with no probleums. I picked up the blouse and took it home when i went to hang it up notice a large section in the back looked like it was melted i took it back with the receipt since i had just bought it two months before i wore it once got some stains in the front which came out. 10 days later when back because i had not heard even though she stated they would call. When i went back they stated it was not there fault whcih it was i am still dealing with them will not call me. The service and response has been horrible, would never recomond them. I've been going here for about a year now because it's local to where I live and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I had a tough stain that they took out flawlessly and my husbands laundry shirts always come out clean, especially his white shirts!
