Their driers are .25 cents for 10 minutes and I usually go for 20 minutes. This is a busy laundromat as it's the only one in town. It gets crowded so coming at opening or later in the evening is best. Open 7am~10pm 7 days a week. The machines are old and on occasion there's a faulty machine. Went on a week day during the day and it was not busy at all. There was only one other party of people in the entirety I was there. The washing machines take card and the drying machines take coins which are easily obtained through a coin machine at the front. Plaza Speed Wash is located in the Pleasant Plaza. This is small strip-like plaza with shared parking. It looked a bit smaller than other laundromats I have been to and there were a lot of people there using multiple washer and dryers at one time, so it was a bit difficult to find an open one. We just needed 1 washer and dryer for a giant blanket and we were able to eat a couple stores down at Bob's Giant Burger while waiting for it. The washer had a random sock in it which we did not notice until after our load because it clung on to the blanket. We had gotten the last dryer at the end and it was semi-janky, as the quarters kept getting stuck inside. read more

Our dryer stopped working so I go here once a week to dry my clothes. It's 25 cents for 5 minutes each. They always have plenty of washers & dryers. They're big so you can do big loads or wash your bulky blankets here. There's a change machine if you don't have quarters for the dryer. The washing machines take credit cards. I come from Livermore to use this laundromat. It's clean, reasonably priced and pretty empty on a Thursday night. I try to avoid the weekend rush, so I come on a weeknight. There are both regular sized and extra large washers. All of the dryers are pretty large, and can accommodate large comforters and blankets. You can use quarters, or pay with your card - it's super convenient. There's also a soda machine inside. It's pretty nice as far as laundromats go. I rarely use laundry mats but my dryer at home broke so I had to go somewhere. This place simply was the closest to me and seemed to be the cleanest. It was easily accessible & I got front row parking which made it easy to unload my clothes. I forgot laundry detergent so luckily there is a market in this shopping center that had exactly what I needed. Overall, I am grateful I found this place because I had a smooth experience. I paid about $6-7 for larger loads & about $2-3 to dry my clothes. I paid with card for the washers but dryers only take quarters. I was having some trouble when scanning my credit card on a machine so I had to move my clothes which was frustrating because I had already put soap in the top. To start with, there's no management on side, if something goes wrong with the machines, that likely will, you are not going to have any help, one of the machines broke dow right after I put my money in it. Money and time wasted, second is expensive, $1 dollar above average, and last but not least, is not a clean space at all, like I said there is no management on side, no one to clean up. read more

Since Ducky Wash in San Ramon is going down the drain I decided to try this laundromat. This place is beautiful! The washing machines are shiney and clean. Everything works great and the dryers dry fast. No wasting of money trying to dry your clothes. They have mostly medium and large washers and you can use your bank or credit card to pay for washers and dryers. It's in a small strip mall that has places to eat, get your nails done and theres a small market. It's a small place but has everything you need to do your wash. Two cons, the bathrooms are inexcusable. And, of course, people are pigs leaving there dryer sheets all over. But that's not about the business. It's a great place. read more

Plaza Speed Wash was just the laundromat I needed to wash/dry my heavy bath mat----clean, well-supplied, convenient hours, adequate number of machines, several of which will take credit cards. Please note...if you are washing heavy items, I.e., blankets, bath mats, heavy towels, the timer may remain at 8 seconds for a few minutes, as that is the point when the machine is working to balance the load.. Not knowing this, I called the emergency number, and Kassam quickly answered. He immediately knew the problem and explained to me why the machine was staying at 8 seconds. The hubby stumbled upon this place thanks to TomTom. Who would've thunk that there'd be a laundromat in Pleasanton? It's your run of the mill laundromat. Since I had the time, I took note of some of the basics: -Hours: 7:00am - 10:00pm daily, last wash at 8:45pm [no joke! the lights went off on the washer-side of the room at 9pm] -The Goods: 5 top-loading washers ($2.50), 13 front load washers ($3.75), 5 BIG front load washers ($6.75), 20 dryers ($0.25/6 min.) -Extras: Soap Center available if you need to purchase soap, bleach, softener, laundry bag, Soda can vending machine -Coin- or card-operated: Coin (2 change machines on-site) -Location: plaza that houses a barber shop, nail salon, grocery/liquor store and Bob's Big Burgers, to name a few. The interior was a bit dirty, trash cans were full, dryer sheets lay strewn across the floor, empty drink container and a rogue sock. All of which is really a reflection of the patrons. (shrug) I assume that most people drop off their stuff and pick it up, as there are only 3 waiting chairs. Nothing really special here, but it doesn't really need to be. Today is the last day I'm coming to this establishment. People are coming in with no masks. Ppl take 30 to 45 min doing pouring laundry detergent. I kept going back in 10 min increments so I can take my wash to dry it. Had to stand right next to the lady who was there for 30 plus min. Plus one man who had no mask on who took my laundry out because I couldn't get to it. I just had to be savage and grab my laundry despite no social distancing. Its dangerous in here. The very first time we visited here two weekends ago, we used 3 medium washers for $4.25 each since washers were very limited during that time. There are 3 chairs so very limited seating, you can sit in your car depending on weather or two doors down on your left, you can dine in at Bob's Giant Burger. They have various size washers which is great for when I need extra large items washed that won't fit in a normal size washer. I really appreciate the convenience of being able to use a credit card but you can use coins if you prefer. Place was clean and every machine was in working order. read more

One time about 10 years ago when I was in high school I was in the area to get the results to an HIV test at the free clinic down the street (came back negative, hi-five). I had to wait about 30 minutes for my bus back to Livermore and it started pouring rain crazy hard and I got soaked. speed wash is 30ft from a bus stop, 2nd closest stop to the clinic so i went there. there was no one inside so it wasn't awkward when I stripped down and put everything I was wearing in a dryer. some one had left a newspaper on one of the tables so u used it to cover myself while my clothes dried. by that time i only had 20 or 25 minutes before my bus came so my clothes didn't dry completely but they where less wet and way warmer. Needs a sweeping and dusting for sure. Machines could use a some cleaning, Hot as hell! Poor ventilation, Ceiling fans work poorly, one not at all. No WiFi like many other laundry mats or electrical outlets to charge phone while you wait. Won't be back. read more

I give it the A-OK, for a launder mat, my cloths come out clean, not drained from color from hard water, I truly appreciate that! I was lucky enough to be there when the owners should up, I had put bleach in with my dark colors!! (Aaauugh!) but the owner was there to stop the machine in time so that I was saved from ruining my WORK cloughs, aannnd gave me my money back to wash once more, soo a BIG shout out to the owners, I know times are difficult to hire some one to be there , but it would be nice to have an attendant available and or a sign to let us know when one would be available in case of an emergency as I experienced, all in all I'm a fan read more
