Service is awesome. Brooklyn pie is the best. Spaghetti bologna is eh. Drinks are lovely. Ambience is standard, more of typical local joint.

Great spot for dinner. Good service from our server - attentive and made sure we had what we needed. Great music playing in the bar area. Food was delicious- I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with truffle fries. Loved it! Portion was huge and had to take half the sandwich home. A must try for those considering.

We were at a local brewery and wanted dinner on our way home. We passed right by Amalfi's Kitchen so we stopped. Very nice inside. Service was great. The starter bread was to die for! So amazing!!!! The olive oil dip was delicious! Stir it first. The hot stuff is at the bottom and amazing!!! My husband had the bolognese and I had the eggplant parm lasagna. I would recommend a side of sauce. It was very good but very light. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Primavera - vegetarian. Made just for me and delicious!

Food: spaghetti primavera, lobster ravioli, bolognese. The bruschetta and primavera was no longer on the menu but they were kind enough to make me a vegetable primavera with tomato sauce, mushrooms, spinach, green peas and broccoli. It was a generous portion and really delicious. They also give you complimentary bread and thyme dipping oil. Service: above and beyond for making me a pasta that's not on the menu! Ambiance: bustling bar area and booths. Also have outdoor patio seating. If we are back in the area we'll definitely be back!

Break which was light and airy , oil with seasoning

Tried this place after getting recommendations from a local food group. Service was good, attentive but also gave space to enjoy. The bread was very good, the salad was yummy and light. I enjoyed the chicken parm and pasta. We got desserts to go because we were stuffed. I will return, there was other menu options I would love to try

Hands down one of the best Pizza pies I've had in NJ since moving her from NY 11 years ago. Great crust, quality sauce and cheese, as well as toppings (cup pepperoni with fresh garlic was my favorite). Their Italian rub wings were also standout, along with the Italian chicken quesadillas.

Eggplant rollatini was one of the appetizers we chose to serve. Delicious!

Food was delicious (five original, creative, tasty courses), service was outstanding (the wait staff could not have been any better), the ambiance (décor, surroundings) was perfect. We've been there several times for dinner (just the two of us, and always enjoyed it), but never for a major event. Chef Salvatore worked with us to fine-hone the menu (appetizers, salad, pasta course and dessert were served family style; main courses were individual [and there were about five choices guests could choose from]), and it was all as good as it could possibly have been. All the guests we're blown away with the quality of the food and how it was served - it all felt so personal and unique. Our guests were our adult children, some relatives-who-are-friends and other couples, some of whom we have known for 40 years, and some for just a few. And it all worked perfectly. So, I am so happy to recommend Vidalia (in Lawrenceville NJ, just off Route 206, the main drag) to anyone planning a dinner party in the future. ...

Curiosity and I use to waitress and I always told the prices It's the right thing period for lots of reasons. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I love that they don't give you bread. That is the worst thing we do in America before you eat for health reasons. The ceasar uses a blend of canola and olive oil like most restaurants even if some say they don't. But so far they are all saying they use a blend. It's just cheaper and non the wiser unless you ask. Like I do. We didn't get it. I make it at home from scratch several times week. I learn as a server where else made it in a few minutes table side. Coddled egg yolk, pinch dry mustard, crushed garlic, worceshire sauce. Vinegar, anchovies. Organic Xtra virgin olive oil first cold press from one county optional.

Then you add the nice plates and simple, yet warm decor. You just can't go wrong. We split the forza Italia as an appetizer to get more of a focaccia kick. We loved the homemade bread. The three cheeses were a nice and complimentary touch. Also, dousing this with some freshly squeezed orange juice didn't hurt. For the main course, we split a pesto gnocchi and a tagliatelle alla Norma. The pasta was truly homemade. Felt super fresh. The sauces were great and not too oily or salty. It was so good that we decided to bring some home to my parents. We will be back again!

It wasn't showing up on my account. I called the restaurant and they were able to find and confirm. I don't know if it's an Open Table glitch. They were so accommodating upon arrival when our party went from 9 people to 7. The staff was amazing and on top of everything. We ordered apps off the dining room menu but they let us order large pizzas instead of the 12" ones. We had calamari and bacon wrapped shrimp. I love that they offer the calamari in both fried and grilled. I was outvoted on the grilled but I have to say that the squid was perfectly cooked. Not chewy or fishy at all. Very tender. The breading was light and not greasy at all. The bacon wrapped shrimp were interesting. The shrimp were huge. They were drenched in BBQ sauce. I thought it was ok but I'm not sure about the flavor combo. We ordered a large plain and a large pepperoni. I thought the plain was delicious. The dough was good and not too much flop. The sauce was a bit sweet, which I like. The only issue is that the cheese and sauce didn't stick to the dough so it slid off while cutting. They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!
