My husband and I had a window of opportunity to grab an anniversary lunch while our kids were at a birthday party and Grazie Bistro gave us the dose of romance we needed in a relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere. Courses were perfectly portioned - pear and Caesar salads great start to the meal. We usually go out for tapas and the meatballs reminded my husband of albondigas - delicious. Spinach gnocchi was outstanding - piquant Gorgonzola perfectly soft and chewy gnocchi. The pistachio cake and chocolate gelato also very good. Happy to find a nice restaurant open during lunch hours. Owner very friendly and accommodating to this vegetarian. read more

With 2 takeouts here I'm still not quite a fan. But I think there is room for improvement as overall my experience was good, just not 4 star good. My first visit was to try the lasagna which they call Quadro. It sounded interesting with homemade pasta, short rib and cheeses. It looked ok but kind of oily in the container, no bread or salad came with it. The best I can say is that the pasta was indeed fresh and Al dente. The smoky short rib did not work for me as it overpowered all the other flavors. It left me wondering if this was just my opinion and some folks might like this. With that in mind I decided another visit was warranted to try one of their artisan pies. The house special with pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions and mushrooms was my choice. The personal size was pretty big and looked good from the box. The crust was very puffy around the edges but much too thin in the middle creating a structural error. I'm all for thin crust, trust me. But this was a poorly made pie. The toppings were ok, I liked the pepperoni more than the sausage, the red sauce was fine. My favorite part was the outer edge of the crust that wasn't soggy. So again, I was left thinking what if I had chosen a different pie? The interior has been updated and looked in step for this town. A beautiful dessert case with mostly Italian items( not made in house) was near a poorly lit gelato case that I struggled to identify the flavors contained within. As another reviewer pointed out, service was friendly and prices seemed reasonable. I probably won't get takeout but will possibly give them a few months to improve and go back for dine in. 3.5 stars read more

This was our second time dining at Grazie Bistro. It's a small, unassuming BYOB in Lawrenceville. Service is friendly. There are usually a few specials in addition to the regular menu. The food is tasty and portions are more than adequate. We had appetizers of Italian Meatballs in a cognac sauce and Fried Calamari. For entrees we had a Chicken Francaise and a pasta dish. Lots of parking in the back. The Grazie Bistro took over Fedora Bistro!!!! Cute vibes inside and outside. Mostly saw an older crowd dining. Server lady was sweet to answer my questions when I looked lost walking in to ask about my gps showing me this is F.B. Grazie is a hidden gem in the heart of Lawrenceville NJ. The ambiance is unassuming and relaxed, but sophisticated at the same time. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the pasta bolognese, which was made fresh - and I mean both the sauce and the pasta. The ground beef was remarkably tender, and the sauce was creamy and flavorful. The al dente noodles were cooked to perfection. I had a taste of the potato croquette and it was smooth and delicious. As the granddaughter of a very particular Italian grandmother, I have to say the quality of the food was top notch. We ended the evening with homemade gelato. Service was friendly, attentive and prompt. read more

first, I am confused - the menu says "Grazie" but the receipt says "Fedora Cafe & Restaurant". That said, our meal was terrific! Our reservation was early (5:30) and the place filled up quickly. We started by sharing the Grazie Calamari along with the Crabmeat Arancini. Both were excellent and there was plenty to go around for our party of 4. Two entrees consisted of Pan Roasted Pork Tenderloin with mushroom cognac cream sauce, potato croquette and green beans, Mediterranean Bass (Branzino) served with potato croquette and vegetables with chile oil and Chicken Al Pepe Verde - sauteed chicken, truffle cream with green peppercorns, potato croquette and gren beens. Everyone enjoyed their entrees and I can only say that the Chicken Al Pepe Verde was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Dessert (yes we saved room) consisted of a delicious Pistachio Cheesecake and an Eclair. Our server, Ishara, was knowledgeable regarding the menu and very attentive. We went there for Mother's Day and loved the food. The appetizers were very unique and tasty. People in our party also had the fresh pasta dishes, and the fresh red snapper. The desserts were amazing; highly recommend the pistachio cheesecake. The service was very attentive. We'll definitely be returning. read more

THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE PIZZA SPOT!! I was skeptical about trying such a new restaurant but holy cow was it worth it. I had the Tandoori Chicken Pizza and the TARTUFATA~! The delivery was quick and the pizza arrived still steaming hot. The pies are decently sized and two pies can easily feed 4 ravenous adults. It didn't stand a chance in my household and was immediately inhaled, hence no photos... Next time though! The Tandoori Chicken pie was aromatic and served with red onion and fresh wedges of lime to squeeze on top. The chicken bites were The crust was solid-- crisp and bubbly. The TARTUFATA is their specialty mushroom cream pie, with truffles and wild mushrooms. It was so rich and comforting, and the truffle flavor was so strong (yay!). This is now my go-to pie. Their Margarita pie is pretty solid too and they are generous with their toppings if you're more interested in designing your own pizza. Definitely coming here again read more

The pizza is excellent. Had the margarita pizza and highly recommend it. Crust, sauce and cheese were all right on! Thin crust was crispy and edges puffy, the way it should be. Very nice ambiance, clean and relaxing. People working were very nice. Looking forward to trying other things besides the pizza. Gelato and Pastry looked good. read more

Great food, wonderful staff. A hidden gem in downtown Lawrenceville. Could be better publicized but definitely worth a trip. Have had their pasta, pizza, sandwiches......all terrific. The service is a little slow so be prepared for a bit of a wait but so worth it. read more

Really disappointed. I ordered 4 pies and all of them were essentially liquid on top while burnt on the bottom. I called after the first delivery and they did graciously send me replacement pies and they were exactly the same thing. I wanted to like the restaurant and I appreciate the customer service, but the quality of the pizza was a massive miss. read more

We got take out from Grazie a couple of weeks ago and we are still raving about it. The short rib lasagna, pasta bolognese, ravioli, and two delicious pizzas (one white pizza and one red/meat pizza). So good, and reasonably priced. We're definitely going back to experience in-person dining. So helpful that it's a BYOB too. Right in the heart of Lawrenceville where Fedora's used to be. Wonderful first adventure to Grazie. Super relaxed, friendly servers, the vibes are incredible. Food was very good; I sipped every ounce of broth in the mussels. However, I didn't love that there was "bacon" in my carbonara instead of a pancetta, because the bits of meat didn't have a lot of flavor. We had a wonderful time! read more
