Jason is professional, patient, knowledgeable (about plumbing and Taylor codes), honest, and comparatively reasonable in price, so he has become my go-to for projects in the Taylor and surrounding areas. Jason fit me in to fix a major gas leak at my meter this week and repaired the main line to my house with a setup that even the Atmos gas technician said was very professional and allowed him to quickly test and complete the restarting of my gas service so I could get back to normal fast. Finally, I have learned to trust Jason beyond his reasonable pricing; he will tell you the truth with options and do the job right without any BS or upselling.

I can't say enough about the work they did and the class with which they did it. I want to shout out Ryan, who came out and listened to my entire story patiently. How we had a clog, it was supposedly fixed by one company, but then clogged up again a few days later. How we had another company tell us that not only is our main line to the street clogged by a tree root that grew into it, but that we needed to go into all of the house pipes, tear up our entire front yard, and it would cost $43K+ (they sent us an invoice). How this large company had my wife and me totally shaken... and how we were hoping they were trying to scam us and it wasn't necessary. Ryan did his own inspection and quickly told us the house pipes were fine. There were no breaks in the house. He even offered to talk to my cousin, a plumber in MA, to explain everything to him. He was patient, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with. We had a spot repair done the following week, where Matt came out as well to do the work with Ryan. Matt was also really helpful, friendly and informative. They didn't try to sell me on other stuff. They were efficient and clear in everything they did. S&D made it obvious that they are looking at this as a long term customer-focused relationship, not a quick and unnecessary job to take your money. Finally, Krysten in the office was also really friendly and helpful throughout the process of scheduling and paying. The last thing I will note is to BE CAREFUL with who you trust, especially among the big companies that have a goal to SELL SELL SELL, and will make what requires a smaller fix into a massive project. A potential financially life-altering project. There are real scam artists working for big plumbing companies. They lied to me over and over, then shook my hand, looked me in the eye, and sent me an invoice. My advice is to go with S&D. I am so glad I did.

They turned off the hot water pipe that leads to my outdoor kitchen and gave me a bill for $2256.40. I was told it would cost more to fix the leak between my house and the outdoor kitchen. He completely ignored the schematic, putting the kitchen pipes in the wrong place so I couldn't install my cabinets. When I contacted him, he said that he didn't even look at the schematic and charged me and additional $210 to move one water line two inches over so that my cabinet would fit. When I called for the final inspection (which he didn't even show up for), I had six fails on his plumbing. He wanted to charge me again to fix his errors, after already paying him over $4800 for my 2x1 cottage. Seriously, he wanted to charge additional to bring his plumbing up to code. The quality of his work is phenomenally poor. Mind you, this was a complete renovation and he worked from the studs, no drywall or obstacles. I hired another plumber to come in and fix his mistakes.
