I had a tough septic job, down a cliff. This brought the bandits out of the woodwork. They really were trying to rip me off with a crazy high quote and BS explanations. Wastewater Transport Services was actually recommended by another honest septic company that turned it down. Their smaller trucks were not powerful enough. Ash from WWTS was very nice and honestly couldn't give me a price until they came out to look. He let me know it would require two guys and a longer on site time. Rudy who came out was great, Assured me it wouldn't need any crazy equipment like I had previously been quoted. He'd seen it and done many similar jobs before. Rudy came out as scheduled and toughed out the extra hours and a ton of trips up and down my steps. It went great. He showed me inside the tanks after the job and explained the work. Called the office on April 21, 2014 to get an over the phone quote. By far the cheapest even with the possible add on that all the other places charge. The price we were given was explained for 1 hour of service, 1750 gallons. They were upfront and forthcoming. Other places didn't tell me that info until I asked. They were able to give me extended quotes should it go over the time or gallons. I scheduled for that Wed and was told that someone would be out between 3-6 pm. I got a call 30 min before they arrived. I got a call that Rudy Minas would be there in 30-45 min. I was also reminded about the 10.00 coupon savings. Rudy got there at 3:30 and was done by 4:30. I will never work with this company again and I will be informing every restaurant owner I know downtown of the horrible experience I had with them. I just the last three grease trap servicing for my restaurant done with this company. The first time they sent out one tech, I thought everything went well. The second time, they sent out a different tech, and I was informed that the grease trap had overflowed in the past three months and there was a solid half inch layer of grease coating the entire trap making it almost impossible to get the lid off. It took forever to get it clean with a power washer, and I had to do it myself, by the time I was done I was a mess and almost had to close down for the day, because I needed to go home and clean up first. The third time was yesterday. I didn't want a repeat, so I paid an extra $100 to have them come out an hour early, just to make sure there wouldn't be any surprises. The tech that came out was the one that came out the first time. I thought it went well, until last night, when my employees called me and told me the grease trap was under two inches of water. Again. So, my trap overflowed a grand total of two times in 11 years of having that restaurant. Both times, it was worked on by the same tech. I called them yesterday and today, frantic to get it repaired because the trap is under the patio and I couldn't have a grease trap smell flooding the outside seating area during business hours. This morning, when they returned my call, they told me: #1. That it's probably not their fault, because in 30 years of running a business, they've never heard of a grease trap overflowing from pumping it. #2. That it's not their problem that the patio is flooding with a grease trap smell, because a grease trap shouldn't be under a patio anyway. #3. They don't have any technicians working the weekend so I'm just going to have to deal with it until Monday when they come back to work. After hearing #3, I asked if she could call the tech that worked on it to see if there's anything that can be done. She told me no. Here's the final kicker. I asked her if she was refusing to call them because they're off for the weekend, or if they wouldn't pick up the phone if she called them on their days off. She told me she wasn't going to call them on their days off. So.. just to recap. I have an overflowing grease trap. It overflowed twice in 11 years. Both times within a day or two of one specific tech doing the work. When their other tech worked on it, it was fine. When I called to get the issue resolved, I was told that I would have to wait until monday, because the operator REFUSES to call a tech on their days off. Without use of my patio on a weekend I will be out about $2000, minimum. I will never work with them again. read more

I have used this firm before and they had a good price but when I called today they said they no longer pump septic tanks.

I was very pleased with WWTS. The price was right and they spent quite a while breaking up crust, scraping, and thoroughly pumping my 2 tanks. I only wish my tank lids were easier to get to! read more

The other night, our septic overflowed into our bathtubs and shower and it was pretty nasty. I called the 24/7 number at WWTS and left a message, but I told them it was not an emergency. The next morning I talked to them around 8 AM or so and they clearly stated what the price would be (as long as everything was normal). That afternoon, I got a call from the office letting me know that Rudy was on his way. A few minutes later, Rudy called me himself to let me know where he was and his ETA. Shortly thereafter, Rudy was at my house ready to pump. I knew the general area of the tank (we are renting), but did not know exactly where it was. Rudy was able to find it and dig down to the lid in just a few minutes. Rudy was personable, fast, and thorough (I was out there with him pretty much the whole time). From the time he got there until he left was around an hour. At the end, the price was exactly what I had been quoted. I couldn't ask for a much better experience. read more

Called Wastewater Transport on a Thurs afternoon to empty my septic tank. They had a truck at my door at 12:00 on Friday. Lady quoted me $375 and said it would take about 45 minutes unless they ran into complications like inaccessable tank lids, bad terrain, etc. Also told me it would be extra if it was over 1500 gallons. Wiley was the technician and was friendly and informative. He said my tank was average size and would take about 45 minutes. He discovered a second lid to the tank which was frozen in place and asked if I wanted to risk breaking it to open it. This is required when there is a divider in the tank so you can drain both sides. Luckily he discovered there was no divider and he did not have to risk breaking the lid. After 45 minutes Wiley was done and the cost was exactly as quoted. I like the fact they were on time, took the amount of time quoted and the price quoted. Very professional. Would recommend and use again. read more
