drinks are great they even have one in a real coconut!

Love, love love this place! It's literally right on the water with the best city and ocean view!! the food is amazing. They don't have that much of a selection compared to what I'm used to especially when it came to the couch of the day it's usually one or two different types of seafood. But I'm telling you even in the rain it's one of the most beautiful restaurants in all of Miami.

Extra charges that they don't disclose upfront

Food was ok but very expensive for latin American food. You can go to other places way cheaper with beautiful view and better food selection. They have so many hidden charges that they don't disclose upfront.

Delivers on offers a stunning view and seriously fresh food! The atmosphere is fantastic, and we highly recommend their flavorful salads and a pre fixed menu for lunch which featured swordfish with brocollini and a delicious, likely house-made flan for dessert. Pro Tip: Plan your visit for Sunday if you want the full brunch experience--no brunch Saturday! While our server was a bit slow, we noticed other tables getting consistent service, so it was likely an isolated incident. We definitely plan to return for that Sunday brunch!

View? Spectacular. Food? Some highs, some serious lows. Customer Service? Have had better. Price? Ridiculous. Stopped in for lunch with my boyfriend recently and tried the Miami Spice menu plus a few extras. Here's the breakdown: The bad: * Prawns -- not fresh, sent back, but still left on the bill. Not cool. * Melon salad -- bland, flavorless. * Hamachi tiradito -- poorly sliced, awful texture, also not fresh. Same story: sent back, still charged. The good: * Ceviche -- fresh, bright, and flavorful. * Tuna carpaccio -- stunning presentation, equally delicious. * Chicken empanada -- like an entire Mexican meal wrapped in a crispy little pocket. Loved it. * Oysters -- plump, sweet, and perfectly fresh. All things considered, nearly half the dishes were either not good or sent back entirely, service didn't acknowledge it, and the bill was exorbitant. While I'd normally give a spot a second chance, this one's a pass. Miami has too many excellent seafood restaurants to waste time (and money) here.

Been here once before but ran when i saw they were participating in miami spice! We sat inside due to the miami summer but they have a lovely view of the water. Last time we saw dolphins so keep an eye out! Theres also a boardwalk where you can walk off the meal! The appetizers were all delicious (we tried all 3 since we were a table of 3!) The croquettes were perfectly crispy and not oily at all something thats hard to perfect. The arugula salad was so simple yet full of flavor! The main dishes we also good but only complaint was the hard rice- tasted like overnight rice at the end of the pot. The desserts were both tasty but ill go with the chocolate cake. Highly recommend the miami spice menu especially if you haven't been.

We had an amazing time at Amara at Paraiso's Sunday Brunch! The Endless Brunch Buffet was next level. everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. at $89 per person it felt well worth it for the quality and variety. After brunch we stayed at the bar, sipping drinks and enjoying the waterfront views. The atmosphere is laid-back yet upscale, making it the perfect spot to spend the whole afternoon with my wife and friends. Between the food, the drinks, great service and the unbeatable waterfront setting with a live Dj playing Amara at Paraíso really delivered. We'll definitely be back for another Sunday Brunch soon!

10oz steak, vegetables, and seafood mix

As you can see, my phone did NOT eat first, and that's for a reason. This restaurant was walking distance from our hotel and we liked that it was on the water. We didn't have a reservation but were seated right away at a waterfront table. Our service was attentive and came to us right away to get our drink orders and was happy to answer our questions about the menu. My friends and I ordered the Seafood Parillada, 10oz Skirt Steak, and side of vegetables to share. There were 4 of us and it was plenty of food for all of us. It's not often that you find a restaurant with good ambiance and good food, and this place surprisingly had both. This is a perfect spot for a date night or nice night out with friends.

Great spot for happy hour! Located right on the water with indoor and outdoor seating and beautiful views. Good happy hour menu, great food and lovely drinks. They also do an amazing Sunday brunch. The service is always friendly, and the setting is ideal

The view can't be beat. You're right on the bay and they have seating in the shade as well. I enjoyed the view, casual atmosphere and great service. The food was also good as well, but it wasn't the kind of meal I'd go back for. We had grilled octopus, NY strip, empanadas, a side of grilled vegetables and a chocolate tiramisu for dessert. The octopus was a bit dry and I didn't really enjoy the dessert. The steak was ok. Honestly, the empanadas and veggies were our favorite part of the meal, lol. The service/ambiance made up for it a bit, but it was an expensive experience for an OK meal.

This restaurant is gorgeous. That atmosphere is romantic, and the views are to die for of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was awesome I really enjoyed the cheese puffs. They were my favorite, highly recommend.

This is a review for the catering staff and restaurant! We went to an event for a family members wedding and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with passing out hors d'œuvres and drinks! The food was great. We had a starter course of tuna tartar with avocado créma and a entre course of some delicious chicken and grilled fish! The deserts were good, with the key lime pie being the hit and the chocolate fudge cake being good as well. The views from the balcony with the open roof was amazing and if I was a Miami native, I would understand if you spent all day at Amara!

Amara at Paraiso is hands down one of the best waterfront dining spots in Miami. The view of Biscayne Bay is absolutely breathtaking, making it perfect for a special occasion or just a great night out. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, and the service was excellent--our server was attentive and made great recommendations. We started with the short rib empanadas and the yucca cheese puffs--both were delicious, though the empanadas were a bit on the doughy side. For the main course, we shared the seafood parrillada, which was fresh and flavorful, though I wish the portion was a little bigger for the price. Drinks were on point! I had the Amazonia cocktail, which was super refreshing. However, I noticed the happy hour menu could have had more food options. Overall, this place delivers a fantastic dining experience. A little pricey, but worth it for the quality, service, and unbeatable view. Would definitely return for brunch next time!

Good, service and ambiance were amazing! Food was delicious, fresh and excellent quality. Seafood was superb! Service was top tier, very nice and attentive. We sat outside by the water and there was a great ambiance. Definitely recommend this place and will return.

Ask the Community - Amara at Paraiso

How much is the bottomless sips and is it offered on Fridays?

Yes, our Bottomless Sips package is offered Monday through Sunday (every day!) from opening until 4pm!

Around what price would you expect to pay for a dinner for 2?

$100 for lunch.

Is the Yucca cheese fritters Gluten Free? Are there Gluten Free options on the menu?

The yucca puffs I don't think so. But they do offer some Gluten free options.

Are you dog friendly for the outdoor dining?

Yes we are! We even provide dog bowls for water and doggy treats!

What is a quarantine pour? I keep seeing it on the menu

Quarantine Pour is a larger glass of wine 9oz instead of 6oz.

Do they have a kids menu or kid friendly off menu options?

Yes they do but variety is very tiny. If your child is not picky their menu is kid friendly as well

Does Amara at Paraiso except walks ins or is it reservation only? Is there bar seating?

Yes, you can walk in.

What drink specials are there for brunch? Bottomless?

I believe Saturday has some form of bottomless. But Sunday does not. Only drink special on Sunday is $80 for a magnum of Prosecco which comes with OJ. To put in perspective, it was 3 of us and we each had 4 flutes of mimosas.

I've been calling the last 2 days and leaving voicemails and sending emails and no one responds. Is there a different number I can call to get someone on the phone?

No a problem we all have there. It's challenging fir the host to text on her phone AND answer the restaurant phone at the same time.

Do they have happy hours?

Yes

Do they have a dj, music, brunch?

Yes they do.

Do they have brunch on Saturday?

Yes, we offer Brunch on Sundays only from 11am until 3pm.

During my last night in Miami before heading home from vacation, I was looking for a rooftop bar to…read morerelax and enjoy the evening. After a little searching, I came across Elevar Wynwood and I'm glad I did. One of the first things I appreciated was finding parking right out front. The rooftop sits atop the AC Hotel Miami Wynwood and offers a spacious, clean, and well lit atmosphere. The views are decent and the overall setup is impressive. There are plenty of tables, comfortable lounge areas, a full bar, a grill, cabanas, a pool, and even additional lounge space to spread out and relax. What surprised me most was that it was not overly busy for a Saturday night, which made for a more laid back experience. My bartender, whose name I unfortunately forgot, was excellent. She was sweet, personable, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the evening. We only stopped in for drinks. I ordered the Bourbon Night, made with Bulleit Bourbon, raspberry, peach, orange bitters, and rosemary. It was flavorful, balanced, and definitely had a solid bourbon kick. My friend ordered the Paloma, which comes with tequila, grapefruit, lime, and grapefruit soda. He later switched to a vodka version and enjoyed that one even more. Overall, we had a great time. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was excellent, and the venue offers much more than just drinks. If you are looking for a rooftop spot in Wynwood that is comfortable, clean, and not overly crowded, this is worth checking out. I would absolutely come back, and after seeing the property, I would even consider staying at the hotel on a future trip.

We drove from Tampa for the weekend and were excited to visit Elevar for brunch and had…read morereservations for 11:00 a.m. We arrived about five minutes early and were excited to experience the rooftop. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the rooftop was completely closed. The chairs were still up, there was no bartender, and no staff members were present. We called to let someone know we had arrived and were told to wait a few minutes because the team was wrapping up breakfast service downstairs in the lobby. We waited approximately 30 minutes and called again because no one had come to take our order or provide any update. After our second call, we were told that someone would come speak with us. Kayla then came up to the rooftop and sincerely apologized for the situation. She explained that the restaurant was severely understaffed after three employees had recently quit, and the remaining team members were doing the best they could while covering multiple roles. Kayla suggested that we place our order downstairs and assured us she would personally bring our food up to the rooftop. We ordered burgers, and while we waited, she kindly provided complimentary drinks. Throughout the entire experience, Kayla was professional, attentive, and extremely gracious. She handled a difficult situation with a positive attitude and made us feel valued as guests. It was clear that the issue was not with Kayla or the staff who showed up that day. In fact, there were only three people working brunch: Kayla, the chef, and the waiter. Considering the circumstances, they did an incredible job. Kayla truly made the best of a bad situation and deserves recognition for her efforts. My disappointment is with management's handling of reservations. If the rooftop was not ready to receive customers at opening, reservations should not have been accepted, or guests should have been notified in advance. We drove all the way from Tampa to visit Elevar, and it was frustrating to arrive on time for our reservation only to find the venue unavailable and have to wait for service to begin. That said, the rooftop is a really cute spot with a great atmosphere, and there was plenty of convenient street parking. Because of Kayla's outstanding service and the effort made by the small team working that day, we would absolutely return. We just hope management takes steps to ensure guests are properly informed in the future and that staffing issues do not impact the customer experience the way they did during our visit. Kayla was fantastic. The situation was not. She turned what could have been a completely negative experience into one that still left us wanting to come back.

I feel the term 'artisan' is so overused nowadays that I avoid using it, so can we just go with the Bill & Ted description that Kaona's tiki drinks are "Most Excellent!" You enter an immersive world that really outshines any tiki bar to which I've ever been. The magic radiates out of every nook and cranny. That was complimented by our bartender, Billy, knocking out some perfect killer classics, like a real Mai Tai, and Navy Grog, that, post the 1950s became kind of sugar filled, over-the-top mockeries of the Tiki cocktail arts. No mockery here. Just the old school magic. It's a very analog, and thankfully honest, unhipster revival for a generation who knows not of Bali Hai, Don the Beachcomber, the Mai Kai, and San Francisco's once-great, now seedy Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar, at the Fairmont Hotel, on Nob Hill. The crowd, including the regulars, were a lot of fun. In all, a really awesome evening! Five stars, for all of that, and a sixth for the memories.
