I'm giving 3 stars for the actual services. I got 8 laser hair removal treatments done here - by 5 different techs - and most of them did a good job. I also had 3 microdermabrasion facials (there were on special at the time) and "Jina" was phenomenal. Overall I am VERY pleased with ALL of my results. They seem to have very good equipment and well-trained specialists. What makes this place terrible is their customer service. They change their employees like people change their underwear. During the year+ I was there they replaced the manager 3 times and I lost count on how many front desk clerks they went through. This is very frustrating for clients because the staff never knows who we are, our history, and/or what we've discussed with previous members. They also changed technicians a lot so I was never able to schedule an appt with a specific tech I liked. This was also frustrating because I didn't get the same type of treatment each time. Right before my last session I received a call from Pascual's corporate office (in Aventura) and- in their attempt to keep me as a customer- I was offered a 6-treatment package for $360 or single treatments for $80. I told the lady I would think about it. When I went in (to South Miami) for my appt I discussed the offer with the manager and tech at that time. The receptionist looked me up in the computer and showed them the offer I was given by corporate. Both of them said that my results were so good it really wasn't necessary for me to get the package. We all agreed that it was a better deal to pay the $80 per session because I would only need 1 or 2 per year. FAST FORWARD I called back TODAY to make an appt at the price I was quoted and the receptionist (a new one, of course) understood the offer differently and said I would have to pay $200 for one treatment for one small area. I called corporate to see if they could help figure things out and the lady told me I'm not in their system because I've never been to the Aventura location. Uhhh...Isn't this the CORPORATE office?? It shouldn't matter if you were located in Hooker, Oklahoma EVERY client's files/account should be accessible at the CORPORATE office. And this is the SAME office where I received the call from when I was offered that deal. The lady said she didn't know what to tell me. this doctor and her staff are the worst professionals I have ever encountered. I paid for services that I didn't receive. I contracted an infection from dirty equipment and they said absolutely nothing, like it wasn't their fault. They don't care about follow up visits, you see a technician not the doctor. Pascal is disgusting and she should be ashamed of herself. As well as the so-called doctor, she had subbing for her while she was on maternity leave in 2013. The staff at this Pascual MD location are very sweet and caring. Although my laser hair removal treatment did not remove all of the hair from my bikini line, the staff really tried to work with my schedule and the level of pain I could endure. If I had to get another treatment done, I would definitely go back to this location. It's right off US1 and there's a Starbucks two stores down, which I find very convenient. If I had to add one thing that I would want them to improve on, it would be expectations. I realized that the pigment of my skin would make it more difficult for laser hair removal, but I would've liked a more in-depth conversation about it. read more

Purchased the Living Social Deal for a Micro or Vibra Dermabrasion followed by an enzyme or chemical peel. Upon arrival, I had to complete a 5+ page questionnaire and initial numerous medical disclaimers. Even though the paperwork completion took more than 15 minutes, I was left waiting. The aesthetician was very apologetic about the wait. She did explain the procedure as well as follow up home care and possible effects. She did not however, give me an option to choose one out of the two procedures. Maybe they determine based on your skin condition, maybe one is cheaper than the other. I expected a facial but instead she just cleaned my face. The vibra dermabrasion took less than 1 minute. They use a vibrating plate to slough off dead skin cells. Neither painful nor pleasant but I am pretty sure you can exfoliate just as well at home using a scrub. The VD is followed with an application of acetone which smells very much like a nail salon, then a quick swipe of the enzyme peel. After 10 minutes of treatment and some skin care product and Botox (thanks a lot) recommendation they send you off with sample size moisturizer, sun screen and eye cream. Enzyme Peel Pros: Noticeably clearer skin, smaller pores and less visible crows feet Enzyme Peel Cons: You are left with your face feeling very greasy, tingly, itchy and burning. You can not wash your face or apply make up for 7 hours. The annoying tingling sensation lasted until I was finally able to wash my face 7 hours later. My skin remained slightly irritated (burning sensation after using a very mild organic olive oil cleanser) for a few days. You can not use any products containing retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid or benzyl peroxide for 4 days. My face started peeling on day 2. Would I get the enzyme peel again? No. I much prefer glycolic peels or OTC retinol products that provide very similar results. Definitely not worth $200. read more

Second appointment, same lousy customer service. I get a laser treatment for a tiny area - takes less that 5 minutes to perform. I was about 7 minutes late (Miami traffic-surprise!) and the tech that I was scheduled with had already taken her next appointment. I sat around for 40 MINUTES waiting, and she still was not done. Finally, after I talked to the front desk for the third time, one of the other techs who was sitting around with no customers the whole time I was there did my treatment. 3 minutes later I was finished. They had me wait for 40 minutes for nothing!! Then just now, they called and cancelled my complimentary facial that they offered because I was pissed. Not surprised. I'm sure I'll be waiting a LONG time for that to get rescheduled! I was not even going to mention this at first, but the first time I called, soon as I said that I had a group, they hung up. At first I thought the line dropped, because I called back right away and the same person picked up and disconnected, but now I wonder. read more

I went to this facility twice after purchasing a groupon for 2 schlerotherapy sessions. The 1st time was an excessive wait of nearly an hour. The person who did the vein injections was very good however. Dont remember her name. The 2nd time I went I was treated in a timely manner though the therapist (Nicole) did not introduce herself. The main issue with this session was that the therapist kept her phone on the treatment table by my feet and checked her text messages 3 times during my session! I was appalled by this. I found this to be unethical, unprofessional, and unsanitary for her to touch her phone and then have contact with my open bloody wounds from the needles. Additionally the lighting for the procedures is not very good as I have had many sessions of vein therapy and know whats customary. Subsequently spoke to the facility regarding my concerns. OMG! I lost almost 70lbs on the HCG diet with the help of Dr. Pascual and her staff! It was so easy and I was never hungry. I still want to lose about 20 more, so I am going to go back on the diet after taking a few month break. The best part of the diet was the encouragement I got from the whole staff at the office. I combined the diet with a weekly visit where I got weighed, measured and given supplements, all of which were part of my success. At 50, the weight has been hard to lose up until I tried this diet. I bought the Groupon for Botox at $99. The nurse was very nice but the Botox only lasted a month and a half to 2 months max I read that many of the Botox groupon, living social etc deals will dilute their Botox with saline..it's the only way they can offer it so in extensively... Ensure you watch them open the Allergan Botox vials or simply ask them if they dilute their Botox. read more

I got a group on for either Botox or Dysport. I have read lots of reviews that Dysport doesn't last as much as Botox, so when I got to my appointment I asked for Botox. The person who was going to apply it tried everything possible to change my mind and get Dysport, but I had done my homework and I refused to it. She left the room pretty upset and came back with the news that they had run out of Botox, so I had no choice but to use Dysport. I decided not to be too complicated so I agreed to it.... 2 months later the effects had gone away, so I went back to the office for a follow up and they told me that I needed to pay more if I wanted more Dysport on my front head... ????? I purchased their laser removal package and had a total of 7 sessions for the whole body...at the beginning it seemed to be working, even though not all the hair was falling, but 5 months after the hair grew back like if I had never done any treatment. OMG!! I just sit down on my computer and started a research about this place since I'm so concern about the service I'm getting in this place. I'm doing now the laser hair removal. Since they make you sign papers saying the treatment is for 8 sections and then they said the service of laser was being provided buy a another company called Tropicalaser which they broke up with them, so the contract really is for 6 sections. Let's pass that one. The first section went perfect!, the second one since no more Tropicalaser, they moved me to Aventura where they have people providing the service for them independent, it was a frustration the waiting time with an "appointment" that was not even registered in their computers and later to have to fill out all the forms and papers again. Finally I went to the room the girl didn't even know what parts of my body I was doing until she left me waiting in the room to request by fax my file from the office in Pembroke Pines that I went first time. Second section good enough I wasn't expecting to have a baby skin with no hair. The hair were shown to be thinner than previously and the regrow honestly took like 3 weeks for me to start seeing the black little signs of hair or even feel it. People they finally have a machine in Pembroke Pines, so the 3rd section was at Pembroke Pines office (they finally got the machine) with a very professional and sweet girl. As I said before I'm not expecting results on the 2nd section, but at least I should and I had the hope of not seeing the hair grow so fast that I feel it, see it, not on a little tiny spot but in the whole area!!! Next day on the 3rd section. I just thought well maybe is part of the process, but kind of backwards!!, so I told the girl on the 4th section about what happened and how fast happened and she said maybe she should try a higher frequency and check on my file which frequency she used last time! Terrible! I had A bbl & lipo with Doctor Pascual April 28th 2017. I feel like she cheated me out of my money and surgical journey experience. She had no care whatsoever on the results I explained to her in our consultation. I look EXACTLY the same as I did preop. I am very ashamed of her work and I highly regret working with her. I waited HOURS in the preop room the day of my surgery. She kept telling me that I was going to be next but was performing surgeries on many other patients before me. I could not drink any water for so long that my blood pressure dropped and they could not find my veins to insert my IV. I ended up being her 7th or 8th patient that day after I told her I was tired of waiting and was going to leave. I explained to her exactly what I wanted and she did the exact opposite. I explained that I wanted hips and she literally did not put a drop of fat into them. She clumped all of my fat on top of my upper butt to create a disproportionate shelf. She also took out the minimum amount of fat in my abdomen and left the rest. Her after surgery care is also terrible. I literally only seen her one time 2 days after my surgery to explain that she did not put any fat into my hips or take out enough fat in my stomach to give me the results I specifically asked for. I could not get into contact with her anymore after that to make sure that I was medically ok. I was told to wait 6 months to see the final results and be considered for a revision. After waiting 6 months I am still EXTREMELY unhappy. I called in and sent photos of my current results expressing how terrible I feel about her services and she denied my revision. Even though the manager showedYes her how terrible my results were, she still said that I looked fine and would have to pay full price again to fix her previous work. Simply ..... a disaster. The Customer Service at the Aventura facility does not exist AT ALL. They have people that treat their customer (after they have done a CLAIM) like garbage. I am a Health Professional and the first time for that I was there for a Dysport Treatment I suspected that they do not follow the correct dilution of the product. So finally, and I am 100 % sure that this happened to everybody, the nurse brings some prefilled syringes with "THE PRODICT". How you can be 100 % sure that you are really receiving the product that you pay for? Well, if you want to have a BAD experience go there. The first time they treat you GREAT, when you are back for claiming you will note the difference. Unfortunately I couldn't meet with Dr. Pascua, she is always busy for customer who want o do a complaint. By the way, I paid $ 500 for this treatment. I came back 2 weeks after for a follow up visit and the nurse had to apply two extra syringes. Two weeks later (so 4 after the treatment) my forehead, glabella and eyes were exactly as before the treatment. Again, if you want to be cheated go there. I highly recommend the place but if you really want to see an improvement ON ANY procedure done, please, please, please, FIND a real doctor not a dealer like them. read more

So, one day, I woke up really displeased with my skin. I needed some kind of facial rejuvenation, & quick! A good friend told me about Pascaual MD, & when I say, they have the most AMAZING medical facials ever, they do! My face never felt so healthy, clean, & rejuvenated. I felt like I got a new face almost. The whole process was relaxing & soothing. I have no complaints, they did an amazing job. The staff was very helpful in addition to being very social and comforting. They made me feel like I wasn't in a doing anything at all. (I'm kind of afraid of cosmetic surgery at any form). This place is the worst! maybe the doctors are good but the administrative part is terrible, no consideration, no coordination...nobody knows about changes in price and why these changes need to be done. Then they apply these changes in price without consulting the customer. The day of my surgery they told me I had to pay a thousand dollars extra. It was either accept the charge or paying a fee for cancelation. They scammed me of my money because they failed to let me know of these charges before my surgery. They waited till the day of my surgery to inform me of this and by that time I would have to give up money regardless. The Pascual MD MedSpa I went to was at Miami International Mall, however it is not listed in Yelp so I will use this one. the website does provide the International Mall location. I went to my appointment after having purchased the deal from Livingsocial over 6 months ago. I was very reluctant to try any type of dermabrasion so it took some courage. I received a VM from someone at the spa asking if I wanted to make an appointment. At least that is what I derived from the message after playing it about 10 times to understand what the caller was saying. When I arrived to my appointment I had to fill out a very lengthy and scary questionnaire, but I believe it's standard because it is a medical spa. The tech was very friendly and was helpful with all my questions. She was also very patient because as I said, I have never done any of this so I was scared. She helped ease my worries. I did the Vibra dermabrasion. It was pretty cool, and relaxing. The tech had it on the lowest setting so I wouldn't freak out. Then she put some lotion that was very potent, but it made my skin feel so refreshed. She offered to have the doctor give me an opinion on what to do with my laugh lines, but i was pressed for time. I thought that was nice, or maybe they just wanted my money. Nevertheless, after 6 hours of itchy but not over the top itchy, i was able to wash away the lotion. My skin felt so clean. My husband said he noticed the difference, but then he'll say anything to make me happy so I asked my kids. In their infinite wisdom all 16 yrs and 9yrs of it; didn't notice anything except that I had no makeup. I began to peel like a snake a few days later. Would I do it again? yes, but mainly because my skin did feel clean and at my age I'm beginning to freak out about wrinkles and actually looking my age. read more

I went to this south miami location to have some very light spider veins on my thigh removed by laser. The girls that work in the front are very nice and had me make an appointment with the nurse practitioner. It was all fine until she actually burned my leg very badly. Horrible Experience at South Miami/Kendal location. I purchased the Hcg "medically supervised" diet from them and it is complete fraud. Not only was there NO medical supervision but the manager Lina was rude and misleading. I followed the diet perfectly and lost only 4 pounds. I wasted over $700 on this "diet" and it was a horrible experience. I was starving all day every day (even though I was told I will not feel hungry). I had no support and every time I asked a question, a different person would give me a different answer. DON'T waste your time or your money! read more

I have been going to this office for 3 years for face fillers and have never had a problem-until Pascual MD did my procedure. From the beginning, I knew something would be wrong with Pascual. She was rude, unfriendly, and kept telling me I needed fillers in places different than where I normally do them. I finally agreed to put them where she recommended because I trusted her expertise. I've been getting fillers for 7 years now and have never had bruises on my face until Pascual did it. Pascual pinched my face a lot harder than anyone that has completed this procedure. Afterwards, half of my face swelled for 5 days and she left two hug bruises on my face. This was especially embarrassing because during all my holiday events and dinners, everyone noticed the big bruises on my face. I then later noticed that she put the fillers on crooked, so my face is not symmetrical. It's been two weeks since she did this procedure and I still have these bruises. If you go to this office, make sure anyone but her puts fillers on your face. Save yourself the aggravation from her rude personality and lack of skill. Pascual should stick to only being a business manager of her company. She should also stop using botox and fillers, because she never smiles. My review is actually for the kendall location. i bought a groupon for laser hair removal for my underarms. Upon arriving for my second appointment the lady at the desk told me that if i would've arrive 1 minute later, i would've forfeited my groupon and had to pay full price for the treatment. Needless to say that i made sure to be there at least 10 minutes before my next appointments. By my third appointment they told me they no longer had a nurse for saturdays, that i had to schedule my appointments within the week; which made it real hard for me since i work 9-5:30 and my job was very far from the spa. I told them i needed to drive 1 hour to get there so if they had available appointments for 6:30pm it could work for me, which they had and so i went for my fourth treatment. The day before my fifth appointment, they called and told me that the nurse couldn't wait for me until 6:30pm that she had to leave to pick up her kids and she could wait for me only until 6pm. I then had to ask my boss to leave earlier so that i could be there on time. When i was 5 minutes away from the spa i called them since it was already 6:00 and they told me that the nurse couldn't wait for me those 5 minutes and that she had already left. At this point i was very upset, but i didn't give the girl a hard time because i understood that it wasn't her fault. So she said they were going to get a nurse for saturdays and that she would call me in a couple of days to reschedule my appointment for a saturday, if not for another day within the week late in the afternoon. A week after, I called and they still had no nurse for saturdays and their next available appointment after 6pm was for a month and half away. Now i was upset. She said that was all she could do for me, and since i wasn't going to blame on her i asked to speak to a supervisor. She put me on hold for 10 minutes and no one ever picked up. I decided to call groupon and they gave me 30 groupon credits for my next purchase. I feel so dissapointed right now that i even took the time to write all of this down for all you to know and think about when you plan on going to this place. Her South Miami office is the worse! I purchased a 30 day HCG program which included 4 follow up appointments, a full physical/bloodwork and 4 lipotropic shots as well only to have my second and third lipotropic injection and follow up appointments cancelled because they suddenly realized their office was going to be closed for two weeks. They lure you in with a great sales pitch and the day of your appointment, the people you actually have to deal with are brainless, rude young girls they have on staff. One calls to confirm an appointment then 3 minutes later they call to cancel. When you come in they have a chart and seem very organized but they never know why you're there. On my first visit they said oh are you here for xyz. I said no this is my first time here..."are you sure?" really? that alone should've made me run but, they got me. They got me and ripped me off. Their patient coordinator, Leah Roque promises you the best service, takes her time with you on the phone and even makes your first appointment and gives you the impression that you will be dealing with her when you come in however, you never ever see her at the office. EVER!!! When I contacted her to complain about the idiocy of their staff and how they cancelled my appointment and left me hanging for 14 days of the 30 day treatment she replied and said I was absolutely correct and promised to call me the following day - I'm still waiting for her phone call. They take your money and never come through with what they promise. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE STAFF - THEY ARE CON ARTISTS - THIS PLACE TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE SEEKING HELP WITH OBESITY AND WELLNESS. Surgery is not to be taken lightly. There are many great doctors out there but this is not one of them. I met another girl with a similar experience from a procedure done to her lower back. I purchased laser hair removal through Groupon. I went to the South Miami location. The first 2 sessions for bikini area were very good, however the third treatment it was a different therapist and she spent probably one minute total. They made me wait about half an hour for that appointment and I thought it was because she was rushed. I tried to get an appointment with the initial therapist but was told she didn't work there anymore. The next appointment was again just maybe one minute long. This girl was so rushed she applied the laser at an angle all along my thigh which left weird semicircular marks for about a month afterwards.
