I finally parked in my driveway way after having it for a couple weeks and noticed it was leaking. Took it back and they didn't have time to look at it. They sent me down to their sister shop and they said it was a gasket leak. It was a small leak and I every time it's in their shop it's 3-4 days. I missed enough work, decided to wait until I needed to service and fix it myself. I found a random 12mm bolt in one hole and my pan was damaged on the lip. No wonder it was leaking. Terrible communication: I dropped my car off at 11 AM and didn't hear anything until I texted them at 5 PM. No updates, no calls, nothing. 2. Disrespect for your time: If I'd known they wouldn't even start on my car until the evening, I wouldn't have wasted my entire day without it. I live far away and had to arrange rides back and forth. 3. No clear process: After the inspection, I didn't get a proper report, just an Instagram DM listing what was wrong with my car. I brought the engine of my 2014 Santa Fe to him on 02/6/26. After a month of no updates or phone calls, My husband drove to the shop to see the progress. Tony said they just needed to put it back together and the parts were there and just needed to be cleaned. (Used parts). We expressed our concerns about him installing used parts which was not part of the agreement/ quoted price. Mon 3/16/26 9:04am he said Engine ready. I picked it up a few hours later paid $2,500 in cash after negotiating the used parts concern and had it installed the next day. Mon 6/1/26 it started making a knocking noise in the engine and shut off on me at an intersection. I sent him a video with the sound and he replied "don't drive, bring it in" I had it towed to him at my expense same day. 6/5/26 I reached out to find out the diagnosis of the vehicle where in fact the engine went bad. Spoke with his Wife to negotiate a refund and she could not give me a refund because the shop doesn't have the funds to reimburse me. I will be taking legal action.
