But the customer service inside? Oof. I come here almost every day, sometimes twice a day, so this isn't a one-time experience. The girls up front will usually say "hello" when you walk in, but there's absolutely no warmth behind it. No "how's your day going?" No friendliness. Nothing. It's technically a greeting, but it feels more like they're checking a box than actually welcoming customers. For a while I thought maybe they just didn't like me. Fair enough, not everybody is my biggest fan. But then I started paying attention to how other customers were treated and realized it's not just me. The final straw was what I witnessed yesterday. A customer was finishing up his transaction and heading toward the door. As he was literally walking out, before he was even out of the store, the manager yelled, "You're welcome, rude ass!" I honestly stood there thinking, "Did she really just say that to a customer?" It didn't stop there. Once he was out the door, the manager continued talking about him and complaining about him to the customers who were still standing inside. It was incredibly unprofessional and honestly just uncomfortable to witness. Look, customers can be difficult. I get it. I've worked with the public for years. But if the manager is yelling comments at customers as they're leaving and then continuing to talk trash about them in front of other customers, that's a problem. The crazy part is that the girls who get hired often start out really sweet. Then over time they seem to adopt the same cold attitude and energy that's coming from management. That tells me this isn't really an employee issue. It's a leadership issue. Again, I'm not going anywhere. You'll still see me in there buying my drinks because the prices are great, the place is clean, and the car wash crew is awesome. But somebody needs to bring a little warmth back to the front counter because right now the energy up there feels less like "glad you're here" and more like "what do you need?" The car wash crew gets 5 stars. The inside customer service experience is a completely different story.

Then they try to tell you the coupon is expired. However I can can read and the date was just fine. I reached out to Valvoline corporate and they told me that this is a corporate store.. This isn't the only store I've had this issue with either. Valvoline seems to be running a bait and switch program. Once you're in the door w/ your hood up, what are you going to do, say "nah I don't want it anymore and drive off?" You're toast at that point. I've gotten the same lines from two different Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations. Not like it's coincidental. I'll never use valvoline again!

I am very impressed with Braxton's skills. I have used his service three times. First time was to…read morereplace a high beam on my 2013 Chevy Silverado. You Tube videos showed removing the front grill and other pieces including the head light assemble. Braxton looked over the situation and was able to replace the bulb in 30 minutes and not make a big job out of it. After that experience, I asked him to change the spark plugs and do a tune up. That was another great experience. He did it promptly and for a very reasonable price. The third experience with Braxton was when my radiator started leaking.
