We went on a weekday afternoon and the kids had the place mostly to themselves. That was fun for them and the reasonable price was fun for us. The girl at the front desk was very nice. The trampoline area was pretty big and clean, albeit a little dated. The obstacle course in back had a large ball pit and obstacle course. However, the obstacle course really needs refurbishing. The safety nets were worn and torn and the foam pieces in the foam pits looked dingy even from a distance. It's definitely time to replace them. When the kids came out, one said that dust flew when she jumped in. Out of 4 kids, three came out of it coughing and with runny noses. Two who had asthma later had difficulty breathing. read more

I had never heard of Amazing Jump but my niece wanted to go for her birthday. On arrival the place looks old although it is an old Walmart once you walk in the door it is completely random the place is in the middle of a flea market. The first thing that you will notice is the smell it is a mixture of feet and sweat it was disgusting. Visually the place is not appealing the it very musty, dingy and dim. The carpet is old and stained not only that part of the place looks like it wasn't even finished. They do have separate areas for age groups but it was an extremely small area for my 5 year old nephew. The inflatables are for 8 years and under but a lot of teenagers where using them preventing my nephew to use them. There is a children play area although the toys looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. The area for the older kids was crazy and so unorganized children didn't care if others were jumping they would do flips toward them I guess hoping they would get out of the way. I went out there to jump with my niece and I notice patch work on some of the trampolines with all of the kids it made me fear on the sturdiness of all those trampolines. My niece and her friends signed up to play dodge ball instead of sectioning them of by age groups they put everyone together. There were teenage boys throwing the ball at full force to girls have their age. My niece got hit in the face so hard she started crying. The concession was just as unorganized as everything else the two people running it did not speak English well so it was hard to understand them. After ordering the food for the party he didn't use the cash register nor a calculator he was adding everything in his head. After use the calculator on my phone and I show him that he was over charging me and he got upset. I was ready to pay and handed him my debit card he then told me that they didn't accept cards, I had my card in my hand the whole time, he didn't bother to tell me before I ordered. I had to walk out of line, go to the ATM, pull out the money and then go back. My order had come with a bag of chips when I told him which ones I wanted he grabbed them and threw them at me. As I waited for my food I noticed he was doing that to everyone. I paid over 25 dollars and the food was not worth it. The staff are all young kids they are extremely understaffed. The staff were not tending to the children, however, you could tell who were the friends of these kids because they had their full attention. There was no staff members in the food court area kids were running around, fighting, yelling, making out with each (I even witness a boy groping his girlfriend) I didn't want my niece, her friends and my nephews witnessing anything like that, we had to take matter into our hands by telling the kids that we were trying to eating and to stoping throwing balls and yelling. It wasn't until then that the man running the concession stand came out and said something to the kids. Needless to say I will never give Amazing Jump any more of my money. The staff are unqualified, I never saw any management or security, the restrooms were not clean and smelled like pee actually the whole place could use a good scrubbing, the place smelled like feet and sweat, the concession people were rude and there was not structure to the place. What a shit hole and the perfect example of what not to do when it comes to customer service. My kiddo heard about this place and wanted to try somewhere new. I hesitantly agreed based on the reviews of this place (the ones from 3-6 moths ago continue to be accurate). First off the long line to check in. Second it's dark, dingy, and looks aged. Third the front desk staff... That's where I decided to walk out. I waited at the counter in front of the cashier for about 10 minutes patiently. He ignored me. Helped 3 other customers that randomly walked up. I moved myself to the front of the counter where others had decided to go ahead and ensure they were served before me. I asked if I was in the right spot to pay by credit card. He said, "yes. Stand there." He then helped yet another jerk off that decided to walk up and get some tickets for a ball pit (thankful I missed what probably is a disease infested pool of urine, puke, and plastic balls that I doubt have ever been cleaned). At that point I walked out. I should have left in the first five minutes, but let's be real when you have kids you don't want to disappoint them. I tried. I really did. I will never go back. Ever. I've been here a few years ago and didn't seem to have any problems. I've visited this place twice in one week. The first time I brought my foster children and my friends also brought their kids, it was packed ..there was no supervision whatsoever & it smells TERRIBLE. The bathrooms were disgusting & the furniture was broken (I witnessed an elderly lady sit on a chair and fall off, 2 of the staff walked right by her before another guy was able to help her up as my hands were full of food) I decided to comeback a second day and it was even worse ! They have a sign posted at the entrance that they are having a 20% off Anniversary sale for birthday parties. I assumed that the 20% would be taking off the online advertised price of $160. Had my daughter's birthday here. I had to keep looking for my host and she never helped me with the things I was told they would help with. You can't even jump with your own children when they are younger then 8 to keep an eye on them. When brought the ice cream I didn't even get to decide the flavor so my daughter was upset because she didn't get to get chocolate and the ice cream had been sitting out because it was melted when they brought me the pizza it was really greasy. Was not aware that the location was in a flea market as well. I was expecting it to just be one party at a time and there was hundreds of children just running around and due to their rules I was not allowed to go in the jumping area to watch my litte one and the staff didn't seem to keep an close eye on the children because they were too busy talking to other staff then doing their jobs. As we looked around and saw the people going in and out it was clear we were a bit out of our element. When we walked inside it looked like an old Mexican swap meet turned into a jump place. I would not recommend anyone go to this...yes my kids had fun but the place is disgusting...I asked an employee when the last time the floors were mopped and she said last night...clearly they hadn't been done in like a year. I was here for a birthday party today October 20th 2018 and there was a little girl in the lego area that hit my son with in the head with a LEGO. He ended up having to get staples. Yes my four year old got staples! No staff was around and the mother to the child was given a warning to watch her child. She continued to read her book and not supervise her child. Another adult had to tell the little girl to stop as well. I spoke to the manager who said they were overstaffed that day and one of their party people actually said they were understaffed that he had to work multiple parties. They are nothing but liars don't go here and they are understaffed and they don't watch nor care what happens to your child. That women should have been kicked out so her "angel" wouldn't hurt anyone else!!! Also I wanted the cops to see the video and the place said they did not have the password what general manager does not have the password? I'm was very disappointed with amazing jump had a birthday party just yesterday for my son and daughter and after 30 mins me and my guest were sweating just sitting in the party room. The place was very hot had no air conditioning and a lot of my guest left early because they couldn't handle the heat and let's not forget the smell. Had a party there, it looks like the building has done some major repairs.. The party was well handled... Hostess super sweet and fun --- can't spell her name but it was like siriah. She was really on top of everything and we never felt rushed out.. The kids all seemed Satisfied with the place.. I am NOT impressed with the party food.. The pizza was pretty gross. It was very doughy had 12 teenagers mostly boys and they barely finished 2 pizzas and most left pizza on their plates.. Leftover pizza was given to us to take home but we tossed it.. For $17 a pizza I would expect a better quality!!!! Considering employees had a pizza delivered from Pizza Hut while we were there I would say they don't like pizza there either.. Ice cream was soft serve and was actually good!! I ate 2 myself lol... The condition of the trampolines and bouncers etc was worn some did have tears but I think it's to be expected.. I took my kids to jump at this place and when I say horrible environment for kids I mean horrible! The energy in this place is so heavy and oppressing it's hard to stand. They play explicit music so loud it's hard to think let alone bad words with kids dancing like they're in a club. It smells so bad in this place. The ball pit has broken pieces all over and no one is supervising. They had a giant pool filled with water again no one is supervising to ensure safety for these kids. The bathroom is worst than a truck stop. Everything is so dirty even the food area looked like a tornado hit it. All the tables were dirty and I had to ask if there was anyone to clean it. Kids jumping all over the pool tables. Again no one to supervise. Not the parents or staff. I saw so many kids with no socks. I took my four children here, ages range from 5 to 14. We have been here once before, I was not super impressed but my kids liked it so much that we decided to have another go at it. Because it was pricey at $10.00 per HOUR I decided to make my kids earn this as a reward. The drive is 30 minutes from where we live so it is also a major hike! We knew you needed socks (last time we came with no socks and we had to purchase them on site) so we came prepared, or so we thought. Once we got there we were told that two of my children did not have on appropriate "active shorts" and that we needed to purchase theirs in order to play!!! My son had on cargo shorts and one of my daughters had on plaid knew length cotton shorts. To be honest I was dreading this place anyway because of the safety factor with it being completely open for kids to roam in and out of the facility as well as having the restrooms all the way in back where you cannot see them (I found a man lurking near the restroom last time talking to my 7-year-old daughter and trying to solicit her for a television commercial for Amazing Jump!!! RED FLAG!!!!) So... you can imagine my dismay when I realized that in addition to the $40.00 an hour (or $15.00 per day ) that I was going to have to pay I was going to have to pay an additional $14.00 for their "active shorts" ($7.00 a pair). Needless to say I said that was ridiculous and walked out!!! Yes, my youngest was in tears but after explaining that the owners of this facility obviously were not nice people we decided to spend our money on ice cream and call it day!!! Well let's see their website wasn't updated so when I made the drive out there it was still under construction but on other occasions. The basketball court area is trash they're just pieces of wood with a hoop and are about 4 feet off the ground. The employees don't care enough, it has this lingering smell of garbage, the prices are a bit steep for my taste. They don't allow you to wear pants or your own socks and you have to pay for lockers which I feel should be free since your there to jump and not constantly keeping an eye on your belongings. The one thing I do like compared to other places like this in San Antonio is they have the big long trampolines. Other places I hate being confined to a 5x5 trampoline area and nearly breaking my leg from jumping high so the fact that they have a long extended trampoline is pretty cool. The new location is smaller and seems to be built to quickly. If you don't live in that area I would say it's not worth going cause traffic alone steers me away. read more

Had a birthday party for my 5 year old here today. Kids generally like going so thought party would be a good idea. Yup wrong never again will I have a party here. There is no schedule you have a party hostess but they basically just stand outside and don't help with cake pizza gifts nothing but then have signs that you can tip them. Tip them for what??? I asked for a trash bag and she pointed to trash can. I needed it for the gift trash. Don't get me wrong I don't mind doing the work but what exactly is a party host for? Then got charged for two extra kids and was offered only soda for the kids. Was told by two different party hosts because started off with one and ended up with another for what reason who knows. But anyhow was told they didn't charge for kids three and under but yet I had 5 kids there and under and got charged. Then were told my party guests could ride the train as party of the party package I go up to party host and ask her if we can ride now and she was like just walk back there but no one was back there. Ok, this place is probably the worse place to visit. It's trash in it's truest form, it's mine boggling that the city allows this place to stay in business. I am writing this review because of the carelessness of not only of the staff but the owner. Where do I begin? Thats how my kids felt after we drove the 1 hour drive and paid a fortune for entrance. The place was ghetto, the carpets were stained and the radiated a stench only compared to a garage can.The staff were rude, and unwilling to assist my kids when the old machines took their quarters, then accusing my kids of stealing money. The machines are old, a few of them were older than me and I'm in my late 20's. The food court was dirty, I ordered a pizza and it was as hard/dry as piece of cardboard. The trampolines were falling apart and that is after a advertised renovation. I recently read a review on google where a lady stated mouse droppings and omg she was right, theres rat poison all around the food court in reach of kids. We informed the owner and he blew us off and acted like he was on the phone. After that we wrote a complaint and left. I attended a birthday party for my nephew at this venue. The hostess who was supposed to help with the party called in. Instead of management informing his parents one of their hostess told them she had another party to attend to but would do what she could. The party was rushed and the family had to do what the hostess was supposed to do and what his parents had agreed to per the venues' contract. When his parents tried to inform management of the lack of service they were met with attitude and were even called "low income" by the owner for complaining. I personally heard the owner say this and he also tried to say that there is minimum service and optimal service but at least they received minimum service. When is it even ok to not receive service and be degraded for speaking up? I will never step foot in this place or recommend it for anyone who values good service. read more

I bought a groupon for Amazing Jump, after a friend said it was a good deal for two to jump for 15.00. I have never been to a place like this, and I have to say, I'll never go back. I bought the groupon and then read reviews. I was worried, but we thought, how bad can it be? Bad. The smell was horrible, trash overflowing, and not one vending machine was working. All out of order, or "sold out". So, we go to the concession stand to buy water, and notice it's cash only. Well, they have a nice picture of an ATM machine on their website, it does not even work! Oh, and no sign to say the ATM is not working, there were several people in line to use it and we all just walked away shaking our heads. One lady told me she tried to use it the day before and it was out then too. I told a worker it did not work, and she just shook her head. I found a couple of dollars in my purse for waters, you will need it with all of the jumping. My kids did have fun jumping for an hour or so, but overall it was just horrible. I won't even go into the flea market, or bars on the door, just read the other reviews. Do not take your kids to this place, and if you want to be embarrassed, have a party there. Today saw kids just jumping and having fun, a girl fell, her arm was mangled (really really bad) they took her by ambulance out of there around 4:15. Terrible very bad sight. Saw the manager getting statements without their parents present. They have signs and waivers up, but that will not hold water in the State of the Texas!! Managers were very rude to the family of the poor little girl that got hurt. So sad to see a childs birthday ruined because the manager/ owner of this place did not make this place a safe place and took obvious shortcuts in making this place of business. There are electrical outlets without covers and springs in the trampolines that are worn and undone. I have a lot of pictures that I hope the family can use. Shame on you Amazing Jump for lining your greedy pockets instead of making this a safe place. Beware before taking your child there. I can see where an attorney will have a lot to work with to get justice for this child. I am reporting this place to code compliance, The Health department (food was just gross the way it was being prepared and stored. The ice cream they served was obviously not at a correct temp. as it was brought to the table already melted and had gunk in it) This place needs to condemned!!! A while back my daughters and I went to have fun and ended up missing out almost an hour of time because a girl dislocated her elbow. She wouldn't get off so they had to wait for paramedics to get there. Everyone had to stop jumping. They told us they were sending everyone effected a free jump but no one we knew that night got anything. The foam pit at the end of the obstacle course is incredibly dangerous. My son did a flip into the foam pit, which should be full of foam blocks and deep enough for children to jump into, and nearly broke his back. We discovered that it is only about a foot deep. There are swings set up to swing on and jump off into the foam pit which is very deceiving and dangerous. It gives the impression that the pit is deep enough to jump into without injury. It was then that it dawned on me that the entire obstacle course did not have adequate foam blocks to fall into and that the entire facility was poorly maintained. It does not look like the pictures on the website. We asked an employee to get some ice for my son's back as he was in tremendous pain. The employee returned 10 minutes later to inform us that they hadn't made ice today. Amazing jump does a poor job maintaining the facility, the staff is not adequately trained, the foam pits are not safe for kids to jump into and the whole place is dirty. Spend a bit more and go to Thin Air. It is a night and day difference. read more

Attended a party for my nephew at Amazing Jump. I didn't expect to be entertained, I was there for the kids. I did however, expect a hostess to assist in the party delivery. Come to find out, the hostess for my nephew's party did not show up. Therefore, another hostess tried to juggle two parties. This left our party unattended for most of the time. We had to ask for the plates, utensils and drinks, to accompany our pizza. Then When they brought the ice cream for the cake, we were told that we had to leave our area because the room was booked for another party. We had to rush the children to finish eating their cake and ice cream. Part of the birthday package, is the dodgeball game after the cake. My nephew and his friends had to wait over 40 minutes before someone came to facilitate the game with the children. When the manager was approach to express a concern about the poor quality of service, they did not seem remorseful or concerned in how to atone for their poor performance. We thought that we were lucky, because as we were discussing our concerns with the staff, the owner appeared. Well let me tell you, I would never think that any business person would think this way, but to express themselves PUBLICLY, the way this man expressed himself, was unacceptable!!! He stated that "low income people always complain!". He said this to a respiratory therapist!!!! Also in attendance were executive assistant, mechanical engineer, teachers, and college professor, nurses, social worker, physical therapist and pastors. I understand that things happen, mistakes are made, and sometimes there are just bad days. However, this way of thinking, is embedded in his character.
