I've been going to this location for a few months now. Even after the location CLOSED DOWN for a week and half the stylist LEFT I still continued to come to this location and give it a chance. However, my last visit was not so nice very rude, and I will NOT be returning to this location. I've been with the amazing lash franchise for almost 2 years and I have NEVER had an associate charge me for a full set when I was only due for a refill. I had more than enough lashes on, I also clearly told the stylist I did not want a full set!!!! Several times and she went ahead and she did what she wanted to do without my permission. I tried to reason with the rude bratty receptionist "Bailey" she seemed not to care, kept rolling her eyes ! and just wanted to rush me out since they were about to close. I asked for the owners name she did not want to give it to me. She was VERY RUDE and uncooperative! She also threaten to call the police on me if I did not pay ! The nerve, I've been coming to this studio for almost a year and you threaten me to this extent. Uncalled for especially when you have my credit card on file. I just can't seem to find the right technician - I have tried seniors and masters. My lashes are not going in the same direction and fall out after a couple of days. I have to go back at least every 2 weeks or so and the monthly contract is not workout out in my favor. When I go in for a mini they just pack many more on in the same spot so they fall out in clumps. read more

I must start by saying that Angel was very fast and very rude. I had high hopes that I would enjoy the services and technician as she came highly recommended. But that wasn't the case. I received a full set by Angel, once I arrived I was not greeted, I just approached the front desk to find 2 rude receptionists who didn't even bother welcoming me. As I was sitting down to fill out my paperwork I get called by someone who takes the paperwork from me and takes me back. Once in the room I came to the conclusion that it was Angel; she never bothered introducing herself and she wasn't wearing a name tag either. She expected me to know exactly what I wanted in length and volume. I happen to have knowledge of the service and had to tell her that I can't see me own lashes to tell what length and volume they can support. I didn't want them falling off in 1 week as I got them done for a special occasion that was 4 days away. So I needed her input as a Master technician as to what length my lashes could support without breaking. Once she started it only took her 30 minutes to complete a full set. During those 30 minutes she kept telling me "don't move your eyes." Instead of asking if I was ok. The day after I wake up extremely swollen, crusted, water eyes, seems to me like conjunctivitis. Today, 10 days after my fullest, I have no lashes on. The ones that kept falling kept taking my natural lash with it because she did clusters of lashes instead of individual lashes. Aesthetician did not show up. I arrived five minutes early ahead of all other people with that appointment time. Everyone else got to go back. I did not. After fifteen minutes I asked for an update and decided to leave when it was obvious she wasn't showing up. Seemed like they had a miscommunication with whoever was supposed to take my appointment. I've been going to AL Voss for almost 2 years now. I love how I feel with my lashes and the confidence they bring to my overall beauty regime. I've been specifically going to Carol for a little over a year and she is by far the best stylist there. She's very experienced (around 8 years I believe), she's kind, she knows how much product to use (aka glue) and what looks best on your face frame. Carol is great - the front staff though I'd say is just ok which is why I'm giving 4/5 - Carol is a 5/5. The staff is not very accommodating (few different instances where I haven't been too impressed) and there's been more than 1 occasion when I see a client very irritated w/ the staff and how they handle situations. Overall though, I think they are a good location and if you're on the fence about getting lashes - don't hold back - they are life changing!! read more

It definitely makes a difference who you see. My regular girl was on vacation and nobody bothered to tell me before the appointment I made three weeks ago. I was assured I was put with a senior stylist. Worst. Lash. Experience. Ever. My hair is totally jacked up, she used my head as an armrest while she texted, she didn't dry them so they burn like hell and they are much longer on my right eye than the left. It looks so fake. It has been approximately three weeks since I have had the lashes and they are about 65% intact. I have received tons of compliments on my lashes everywhere I go. My refill is scheduled for Monday but I have not made a decision on whether or not I am going to keep the appointment for the following reasons: 1. Although gorgeous, when I'm rocking the fresh face look, it feels kinda wierd because my eyelashes are glammed up. (I got the "Cute" style, btw) 2. I have to be extra careful when washing my face, and when I'm rushing in the morning, it becomes a burden. 3. Removing makeup also becomes a pain because you have to be extra careful not to snag or knock out an eyelash. 4. Expensive. I LOOOVE the lashes, but $55 a month (refills) quickly adds up (over $600 a year). I believe in indulgences but this price tag is a little too high for lashes. Will this be the last time that I visit this establishment? Absolutely not, the stylist was great, the customer service was awesome and the environment was pleasant. And finally, regarding the red eye.. when I called the employee told me to try some eyedrops and that did the trick. read more

I used to go here when I first started getting lashes. First time experience was horrible. The lashes did not last for more than 2 weeks, but I decided to give it another try. Second time I got someone else and it was a little better. My lashes lasted maybe 3-4 weeks. But the customer service is unbelievable which stopped me from returning. The front receptionists are rude and unprofessional. If you call to make an appointment, be prepared to be put on hold for awhile and don't expect to hear anyone say "Thank you for holding" or just a simple "Thank you for your business". There used to be a lady named Mimi that used to work for them, but she left and started working from her home. She did a good job, but man is she disrespectful! She will not let you talk and she will hang up on your face. This is common respect that she does not have. Do not go to her if someone refers you to her. Let me start with the positive remark my stylist Holly in which she spells (Holy), always gives me a wonderful set of lashes and is very sweet. Anytime I have to schedule with anyone besides Holly I seem to go in and the stylist doesn't show up or is extremely late and I'm asked if I want to come back in another day or have to wait an hour to be squeezed in. I know as a client of you are late or do not show up you are still charged but if the stylist is late or simply doesn't show up there seems to be no repercussions. I will say I've gone there over 2 years and the staff has improved tremendously and are more professional and friendly then the staff they had when I started. read more

I'm a pro when using false lash strips, so I figured I give this a try. I was a bit nervous, but I was surprised that the process was painless! I did not feel the technician placing the lashes at all and after she was done I couldn't feel that I had anything on my eyes. I can't remember the technician's name, but she was nice and pleasant. Her only downfall is that she couldn't give me a proper suggestion. After a few days my eyes definitely started burning - mainly at the end of the day when I had makeup on all day. You have to wash your face everyday, even in if you don't wear makeup. The lashes started falling about a week later. Slowly, but surely. Overall, I gave it 3 stars because I basically gave the technician free range to do do what she wanted but in the end my lashes looked VERY natural - like I didn't have anything done. You have four options to choose from and my lashes did not look at all like the image they had up on the wall. They do not have pictures to show examples of, which is something I thought would be obvious to have. I would've preferred the lashes a bit longer since my lashes looked fuller but not longer after the extensions were applied. I will return for one refill and specifically tell the technician that I want them longer. Other than that, the place was clean, the receptionist was friendly and my experience was better than I hoped. Update: I've had Mimi as a tech twice now and both times she has been rude/unfriendly. She doesn't take her time to do her job right. The first time I was there she laughed at my lashes and even had another tech come into the room and laugh w/her while they spoke in their native tongue (Vietnamese?). I started coming to Amazing Lash in 2014 but of late, the changes in rates and policies have been annoyances. Until today. Now I find out that I can't book my next appointment until a few days in advance where I used to book 4 weeks in advance. My work schedule is such that if I don't reserve a spot for my maintenance items, I won't get to them. So now instead of scheduling my appt four weeks out, I'm supposed to call3-5 days before I'm due. That just doesn't work. And this is terrible customer service. I love my lashes but it's getting hard to put up w amazing lash and these changes. The first year w them was a dream and I loved it. I hope this appointment scheduling policy will be revisited by management so that I can continue to come here. Otherwise I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Honestly, I was sooooooo nervous about coming here because of some of the reviews I read BUT I am sooo happy and pleasantly surprised! I love my lashes. The whole thing was simple and painless. I checked in with the lady at the front desk and within about 5-10mins I was called back by Lynn. She didn't really talk much or offer much advice on which ones to choose but she seemed nice. The only part that was unpleasant was getting my eyes taped down or whatever it was. I almost freaked out, lol!! But I relaxed and shortly after I was done! It was my first time ever getting lash extensions and I will probably maintain them. I got the "gorgeous" lashes and I feel like they look just that, GORGEOUS. read more

I have to agree with earlier reviews, when I first started coming here the service was pretty rude. The lashes and prices were great though, and I kept coming. . They are fast, which I like becuase I get antsy, and lashes are always thick and exactly what I ask for (unlike other places who put what they prefer). Some techs' lashes last longer than others but always a good amount stay on until the next usual refill. Recently, the front desk staff that I've interacted with are much better. Amazing Lash Studio (Voss), yall are lucky to have Ashley as an eyelash technician. I've going to this location for half a year and my first full set was great, considering my natural lashes are pretty much non-existent hahah... but the refills slowly started to make me look around for other lash studios. The reasons for that was: - The amount of glue being used, or how it was applied, started to burn my eyes. I first thought it was normal, but after letting my sister know that issue (who gets her lashes done here as well), she told me it wasn't supposed to sting. It started to sting so badly when I showered that I'd seriously shower the whole time either avoiding water getting to my lashes or closing my eyes the whole time. - I understand lash extensions do fall out, but mines started falling out even more than usual and the base was crusty sometimes, and trust me when I say that I take GOOD care of my lashes. Not a dirty person lol - The lack of availability at the times that are the most convenient for me due to my job (But this wasn't a big factor, since it's not like ALS closes it purposely before I get out of work) But after my recent re-fill appointment this past Sunday with Ashley, I changed my mind. It was my first time having her do my lashes, and I will definitely continue to book with her even if I have to book a month in advance. I can see why she'd be booked; She actually carried a little casual conversation with me, and MAINLY, she asked me questions like "When you go out, what look do you usually go for? A cat-eye look or more of an eye-opening effect?". I told her eye-opening since cat-eye can be a little annoying to do due to the lashes being in the way. So after a little over 30 minutes, she was done. She fanned my eyes way longer than the other technicians, which I liked b/c the chemical/glue effects didn't burn me at ALL after I opened my eyes. I noticed my lashes in the middle appeared longer and the sides were shorter, and she informed me that she gave me the "cute" style b/c that accommodates to the look I prefer, the eye-opening effect. THAT really impressed me; she is clearly a professional and aims to give what the clients' personal requests. I had originally chosen "gorgeous" not even knowing the difference between the 4 styles, and it wasn't ever explained to me before until Ashley did my lashes. And the BEST thing about her doing my lashes is that now, I don't have to close my eyes in the shower anymore nor avoid water to my eyes b/c it doesn't sting/burn anymore. Ashley, If you're reading this, YOU'RE AWESOME! As for the whole front desk/receptionist issue I see here, maybe I'm just a really really nice person b/c I've never had a problem with them. I don't expect them to treat me like the bestest friend they've ever had, they greet me, ask how my lash appointment was, ask if I wanna book my next appointment, and thank me for my visit. So yeah, this was super long... my advice is to book with either Ashley or Sydney. The others seem pretty ok and nice too, but I've gotten pinched by a couple of them, and one of them lets other technicians who aren't busy walk into the room and stay to chit-chat with her, which bothered me. read more

I've had the worst eyelash extensions here. The staffs were very unprofessional. I've had my extension done with different girls and they all did really bad job. When you get your refill, the only way they know how to get the bad eyelashes off was to pull them off with attached real eyelashes. I told them there is a technique they can use with micro brush and eyelash remover to take off the out grown lashes without hurting the clients, but they had no idea and didn't even want to hear about it or try. The technicians were very inexperienced. They didn't have separate rooms; they were these narrow spaces with a curtain and no place to put your purse or coat. I am a club member at a different location. I was going to use this location for a touch up that is supposed to be 29.99 for members. At this location they will only allow a touch up within 10 days of a full set. So what this says to me that there lashes don't even last 10 days!!! I had to drive to my original location in The Woodlands to get mine touched up AND they felt so bad for this locations policy that they did not even charge me. I have been coming to this location for a year and I still ask myself, why. I might use them as a last resort because my lashes never really last, especially at this location. Some of those front desk staff members are so unprofessional and then some are sweet and understanding. I am not a member because I can't make the financial commitment, which is why I paid a little more. But now to charge me $69.00 for a refill when I have been paying $10.00 less for a year! But that's okay because I have a new eyelash personal who's lashes look more natural (not thick and bulky) and don't fall out with a warm shower or falling out less than 2 weeks!!! I wish I would have known about her sooner and she not far from my home. No more 45 minute drives and lashes lasting a week! I have really mixed opinions of this location. 1-hour touchups are fairly easy to get appointments. I have used several of the ladies and can recommend Tiffany and Tally. Usually the results are fine, but once I- without my knowledge- had my average (12s) touched up with very long lashes (14s). I kind of flipped when I saw them because I can't sport those in my work environment. One of the ladies said I needed a full 2-hour appointment to fix the problem, but management refused and only gave me 1 hour. It was incredibly uncomfortable to have long lashes plucked off my existing lash in a rush, and took 2 additional appointments (ON MY DIME) to finally get rid of all the 14s (that had been trimmed with scissors). It was awful. There are also mixed results, sometimes they last 3 weeks, sometimes they last 1. I love the result but long lashes are an expensive beauty habit to maintain. Find a lady who you like (like Tiffany or Tally), and stick with them- and check out the buy 4 get 1 free package. However, once my most recent package is up I am not sure I will continue this. read more

Not all their technicians are good. My daughter went for an initial set and she did a HORRIBLE job (Linda). I have been going for a few years, and Angel does a great job everytime. Just because they say they are a master technician means nothing. They wanted to charge to remove her eyelashes and I had a fit! They removed them for free and she had them redone at LashJunkie in Pearland. They didn't last at all but they also didn't look like crinkled spiders. I've gone to Amazing Lash Studio a handful of times, and the customer service has worsened dramatically each visit. However, today was the last straw, and I will never go back. I had a refill appointment set for 9:50 AM. I pre-booked the appointment when I had my full set done three weeks ago, knowing that their schedule fills up very quickly. At 9:40 AM, their receptionist called my cell phone, letting me know that my scheduled technician was "very ill" and that my appointment was going to have to be rescheduled. When I told her that I was counting on this morning's appointment and asked if there was ANYONE else who could see me, she flatly said no, that they were all booked. She offered me an early Monday morning appointment, but I work, and that obviously wasn't convenient. They didn't have any more Saturday appointments available for weeks, so I was basically SOL. To cancel on a client last minute (literally) and offer absolutely NO help in getting her in as soon as possible is quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. She told me that she would call the River Oaks location to check on their availability, but that was 30 minutes ago and I still haven't heard from her. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT give your money to this place. There are far better lash studios in town that offer superb customer service and better results for much less hassle.
