So I love all the girls and technicians that works here HOWEVER I'm reducing a star because they need to re evaluate their staunch corporate policies especially regarding people who pay yearly memberships and are loyal... and also because I need to vent (sorry yelp). As someone who has a crazy schedule and works long hours this place is a nightmare to schedule with. I have to make weekend or night appointments because I travel often and work late- I had a 7pm appointment that I was going to be late for because of rain/traffic and my distance from this location and my office. I called ahead right away when I knew I was running behind- luckily they told me they had a 15 minute grace period. Right at 7:15 I was PARKING MY CAR as I was on the phone with her asking if she could just check me in (after being told the system won't let them check anyone in after the grace period) she would not check me in- I was there as the clocked turned 7:16 (after physically running to the door) and she just asked me with a smile if I wanted to re schedule because I was a minute past the grace and the "system could not check me in". I was literally begging this girl to check me in because I was going to be traveling for work for the next two weeks. Oh and now I have to pay for a new full set because I have to wait two weeks for another appointment. As a person who it is very hard to get these appointments to fit in my schedule as it is, I was pretty livid considering the amount of money I spend with them through my membership and fill ins (and I'm a firm believer in tipping on the high end). I think it's BS that they charge members for appointments cancelled past the 24hr mark as it is. Anyways- end rant. Regardless, I get compliments on my lashes all the time so the lash artists are legit. No one will probably read this novel, but it's ok, it was cathartic. **EDIT: I received a call from this location's manager who was very apologetic and explained that it was an error that the check in specialist took the grace period timing too strictly. Really appreciated the call and for her taking the time out to dig into what occurred and rectify the situation. Thank you! The girl that did my lashes was super nice, which is why I give more than one star. I LOVED my lashes when I left there. Not even 12 hours after I got them done they started falling out! It's very obvious they weren't glued to my own lashes correctly because only the false lashes were coming out. Like 3 or 4 at a time. I got them done Friday, it's now Wednesday and they are pretty much non existent. It's a shame to pay that much for something only to have them last a less amount of time than false lashes you can buy from a store. I made sure to follow all directions provided by Cassie to a "T". I kept them dry, laid on my back, washed them with the lash cleanser from the studio after it was okay to, combed them with the wand brush they told me to after it was okay to. There is no reason, other than being put on incorrectly, for them to have fallen out so quickly. I am going back on April 6th, and I really hope they can fix what was not done properly. I also hope I am not charged being that the lashes started falling out a few hours after the application, and continues to fall out constantly. This was my first visit to this studio, NEVER AGAIN. I was very specific as to what I wanted, this was not my first time getting lash extension so I was very aware of what to expect. I never expected walking out of there looking like a street walker with 3/4 of the lashes done. I was the last appoint of the night and they were literally turning off the lights while I was paying. When I called to complain the manager said I could have them removed and reapplied, all at my expense. I paid $165 less than 24 hours ago and I should now pay to have them redone. I am completely sick over this, I either have to pay to have them professionally removed or try removing them myself with baby oil (managers suggestion if I don't want to pay) and chance tearing out every one of my natural lashes. Since this is a franchise there is no corporate number to call and complain and the manager will not give any contact info for the owner. read more

I went for about 4-6 months. My first visit, I was suckered into the membership and scheduled a fill for two weeks later. Showed up for that appointment and was told that I didn't have enough lashes left for a fill, I need a new set BUT they can't do that on that day because they don't have enough time. Got suckered into buying the lash cleaner and cleaning brush. Return for full set, get suckered into buying lash brush and upcharge for 6D lashes. Just had my third new set of lashes done less than two weeks ago (8 days yesterday) and noticed that quite a few were falling out so I made an appointment for a mini fill just to touch them up. It is next to impossible to get an appointment within two weeks of your set at this place so I wanted to make sure I wouldn't be in a situation where I needed another full set. I was running late, I called and asked if it would be a problem and was told as long as I arrived within the 5 minute window, they'd still do it. Got there right at the 5 minute mark (on my watch anyway) and was told that they couldn't take me and the mini won't work~I need a complete fill because I "didn't have enough lashes left to do the mini fill". Wait WHAT? I just had them done! Membership canceled. I have no idea what "discount" the membership gets you. my last full set was something like $100. I asked if that included my credits and she said yes. Beware! You will be upcharged and sucked into buying products you don't need! read more

My post is in response to a post that was made by Susan K on 8/10/17, as I am the customer that I think she was commenting about. I have been going to the studio for a few months now because I accidentally became hooked when i took my daughter to get her lashes done. I was in the shop on 8/9 and bought something that I was not sure would work for me. On 8/10, I went to return the unused and unopened item. I'm not sure who the lady, Susan K, is; however, she was correct. The owner was there and basically treated me horribly. He never said anything to me. He never responded to my request to speak with him. He never said hello, goodbye, or asked me anything. However, he did mumble, "no returns" to the manager as he got off the couch and quickly walked to the back to avoid me. A woman, who I think is Susan K, was standing at the counter next to me and kept looking at me like she wanted to give me a grandmotherly hug. We never spoke, but her eyes were apologetic for behavior that she clearly did have any control of. Eventually, the manager Melissa stopped what she was doing to address the issue. She also went as far as to contact me after I left to apologize for the way I was treated. I will admit, Melissa is the only reason that my membership is not cancelled today. Correction, there is also Paige, the young lady who normally does my lashes. I consider myself a professional and wouldn't normally comment on a public form such as this; however, I wanted to correct the reply that someone at the lash studio wrote to Susan. They stated they did not see anyone else in the shop but me during this time on their video. This is obviously not correct. I also want to clarify that I never called the owner a coward. I may have been frustrated, but I never said anything to that effect. Please note, I am rating the business and staff as a whole. The young ladies are kind, polite, well trained and they make you look amazing. In addition, the facility is always neat and clean. If I had to rate the owner, the rating would be different. Thank you. September 26th 2017: This is an update to my ordeal with this place. The credit that they gave me FOR CHARGING ME TWICE was reversed today. I have been getting my lashes done for 6 years. I moved to oak lawn about 6 months ago and I've went to 6 different salons for lashes in the chicago area and not a single one could compare to my previous lash tech until I went to Amazing Lash Studio in Orland Park. I'm very picky about the thickness of my lashes and the amount of curl each Lash has. Amazing Lash studio has AWESOME individual lashes. They have perfect curl to them and they come in 2 different size thickness. I started off with less thick Lash to see how it looked, you can compare it to a mink lash(I've had those before too) very light and natural looking. I switched it up at my fill to the thicker Lash and it gives your a wonderful full black look. The quality of there lashes are amazing and the service they provide is great. I went to have my lashes done on Monday June 4th and I explained that I wanted my lashes to be very natural looking. My lash stylist was Maribel. She did a great job! I purchased the eyelash cleanser to use at home and I made sure to sleep without messing them up as well. Within two days my lashes were already falling out. This was not from my natural lashes because it was just the extensions without the lash attached that I saw. I called to let them know and they got me booked in no problem which was very nice. I went in today with no problem and saw Ray. She definitely corrected the lashes really well and gave me the exact look that I was going for. She wasn't really a talker which I don't mind because I'm there to get pampered and relax and the better I feel people can concentrate on the job at hand, my lashes. I signed up for the membership because of their correction of the problem and great customer service and I am excited. I look forward to having Ray as my regular lash stylist and having Amazing Lash Studio as my monthly pamper service :-) read more

My lashes fell out within 2 1/2 weeks went for a fill and they told me I didn't have enough lashes left to do a fill in, said I needed a full set. I was fine with them doing all the could within the hour but they said I had to have a full set done but They had no time for me. I was leaving for vacation so had to go without lashes... person at the desk told me where to go while I was on vacations. None of the locations were within 25 miles of where I was staying. Horrible customer service! Today would have been my second time in..I get a babysitter, drive a half hour to the salon walk in and tell them my name and the receptionist looks confused they say they don't have me down for today. Then another girl tells me they try calling me 4 or 5 times yesterday and my voicemail was full to tell me they moved my appointment to 4 o'clock since the girl I was with got fired (which is the second time they changed my appointment since the first girl I was with quit) so she tells me my appointment was at 4 o'clock "which was like an hour ago so like we don't have anything for you tonight" So I tell them actually that was 2 hours ago (simple math) and they must have the wrong number. So she checks and realized that they weren't even calling the right person at all. I know things like this do happen but they didn't even apologize or anything. I called Lisa Thomas salon and they are able to get me in first thing in the morning for the same price. Will not be returning and definitely don't recommend. read more

My application is terrible. I've just got them done and before I left they had to be refixed because they were already coming off. Got to the car one more came off. Let me start by saying how much I loved my lashes in the beginning because I do not wish to bad mouth my whole experience there, only the experience that caused me (and others) to leave. I currently have a membership (which was great btw) and I would go once a month to get a fill. After each fill, I would schedule my next appointment so that I could get into see the girl of my choice (who is also amazing). Last month I came in for my fill and afterwards scheduled my next appt as I was leaving. When it was scheduled for me I had no idea at the time they were scheduling it on Memorial Day (national holiday and the time mostly EVERYONE I know goes on a weekend trip, like myself). I admit, I'm bad at keeping track of my appts so I rely on their courtesy reminder calls each month. I left on a Memorial Day camping trip with my family on Friday. Sometime on Saturday they called to confirm and left a vm because I had no service in the woods. Monday morning (Memorial Day) I drove into town and received the notification (probably when I had service again) and called right away about 930am to try to reschedule and explain what had happened. The girl was instantly rude and told me that it was a 50% charge for cancelling the same day. I then asked if they had another time available to try to get back in time to make the appointment. I was then told the only time available was my appointment. Not liking the attitude of "customer service" or the fact I have to pay 50% when I hold a membership and have never done this in the past and have always kept my appointments except for the one that was scheduled on a holiday without me realizing it, I asked to cancel my membership. She then told me I would have to come in and it would take 30 days. This is an hour drive for me. To make my long story short, The lashes are great but the customer service is anything but great. Buyer beware. They lack that big time. I would even understand if I was a first time customer and just blew you off. But I hold a membership, since my very first time there, and have NEVER cancelled or rescheduled and in my opinion this is not how you treat returning customers. Others have told me to watch out for "the girls at the front desk" "they're shady and rude" and I always came back with I have a pleasurable experience. Until now. I now see what everyone warned me about and it's truly disappointing. read more

I had a appointment to get my lashes done and I'm also a member.. 30 min before my appt the manager calls me to tell me that my stylist is coming in so I can't get my lashes done. I was already on my way and almost there. Still, That's understandable things happen, but then she tells me I need to wait an entire WEEK to get me back in! WHAT?! So I wait the week just to find out I was scheduled on a Tuesday at 10 when it was supposed to be Wednesday at 10. I could never come on a Tuesday at 10 I work? I would never agree to that. This particular location is so unprofessional when it comes to scheduling. The manager also needs some more training on customer service. Debating on driving to Naperville for my services or just canceling my membership all together. read more

The place was clean. The staff was nice except for they decided to give me the shortest lashes available withholding the longer lash options. Needless to say I despise the results because this look can be achieved with mascara. So now I am stuck with either stressing my lashes out by removing these mediocre, boring, short and pathetic lashes or keeping these useless lashes on my eyes. This practice of offering the least desirable lash to first time customers is deplorable and cheap. If you go here ask for 13 mil lashes. I hate hate hate the 11 and 12. She was rude from the minute I peaked my head in her room to ask if she was my tech after being left in the hallway to figure it out in my own I guess. She answered me very aggressively and basically told me I need to go finish my paper work. She was ride during the e tire session, she continuously yanked and twisted my head during the session even more so after I asked her not to. She completely ruined my hair laying her hands and arms all over my face and head. I was literally jumping during the session if I fell asleep. It was a nightmare to say the least. But to add injury to insult my lashes did not even last a full 24 hrs. I demanded a refund and they said no we have to pay her somehow. Really???? I went here to get my eyelashes done for over a year. Over the year I seen the quality of the staff go down hill like crazy! When I first started going here everyone was so professional and nice at the end it became very ghetto and rude. The last time I decided to go here the girl at the front desk checked me in I sat down and within a few minutes she took out her cell phone and was screaming and swearing at someone on the phone like I wasn't right there. I was so surprised a manager or supervisor didn't come out to tell her anything. When I asked to cancel my membership (back in march) they told me a manager would have to call me back about it and its almost June and I'm still waiting for them to call me back. The lash techs were amazing at what they did and I never had a problem with them but there were a few times I left and within two days a chunk of lashes had already fallen out. They also raised their prices within the first few months of my membership. I would not recommend them to anyone I know. read more

Buyer Beware. While I really liked how my lashes turned out, I didn't like the after customer service care. They try and push the after care eye lash products. The package was a little bit pricey, so I decided to purchase one product: the lash coating. When my bill rang up to over $120, I had to confirm the price. The lash product was $40. I left not feeling good about that purchase, but still went home. I still did not feel good about having spent so much on that product, so without even opening it, I decided to go back and return it. They informed me that, even though the product was not used, touched, or tampered with, they would not refund my purchase. This information is on the receipt, but I was not informed of this, or the cost of the product before my purchase. It is a beautiful space, and my technician did a good job, but I won't be going back. read more

This place is very nice. The employees were super friendly and it was clean. I have had lash extensions for awhile and wanted to try here. Shannon did my lashes. Great application but they were coming off so quickly. It's been day 9 and one section has completely come off. They were coming off within 3 days. I have had them before so I know how to take care of them and sleep right etc. I did not wash my face or even get them wet. Their particular glue just did not last at all. That's pretty important they last so I would be too afraid to spend the money again to see them all come off again sooo quickly. I signed up for the $69.99 membership. I had heard some bad reviews about this location but it's close to home and I thought I'd give it a try. I was happy with my lashes and Lena is amazing but....... it's a rip off. When you join they say you get one fill a month. If you go before your billing date you have to pay for the fill in, ok that makes sense. If you wait the month and then go they charge you for a full set because they say you waited to long for a fill in. When I questioned the girl at the desk she got smart with me and said " do you think it's fair that the tech has to spend more time on your lashes and not get paid?" No I think if I want to come once a month like I signed up for I should be able to and not have to give you another $100.00 to get my lashes done! So the $69.99 a month quickly turns into 140-160 a month. Then they try and up you to the $120.00 a month, which is the better plan they say . So best advice... don't go. I canceled after 3 visits.
