I really, really want to like this place, simply because it's a good plan. However, I'm having some challenges with it. I had a full set of lashes put on in July. Paid the $79.00 to join the "club" that includes reduced cost refills once per month. By the end of that first week, I had a number of lashes literally falling out on one eye. I've had lashes done before at a salon and they often lasted 3 weeks or longer, so I was a little surprised to be having lashes coming off so soon. I went back in August 3 for my first refill and I told the technician about the large number of lashes I lost the first week. She asked me a number of questions about what I washed them with, what I washed my face with, how often did I use the sealer (which I bought from them) even which side I laid on to sleep! When all of those were ruled out, she told me simply "it must be the glue we use." So here it is August 22nd. I have about 4 lashes on one eye and about 6 on the other. Yes, they all fell out again. I'm going into for another refill this week. I'm going to give it one more chance. If these fall out as well, I'll sadly have to cancel my membership. The only reason I'm not going back to the other salon is a matter of convenience. It's waaaay on the other side of town and is a pain to get to with my work schedule. Since this location is so close to my work, I was really hoping I would be happy here! read more

laura the "manager" is very rude and unprofessional. i've been a member for over 4 years longer than she's been there.... and never had a problem. long story short, i called and made an appointment at 6pm last night(fri) for today(sat) at 4:40pm.. i called this morning at 9am WHEN THEY OPENED and asked to reschedule because my plans changed snd i live over and hour and a half away... because i called the "same day" they are trying to charge me. she told me if i called at 8:50am before they opened, they would've waived it but not 10 mins later at 9am... ABSOLUTELY ABSURD. there are soo many new lash places open now and amazing lash is going down hill.. sad to say after 4 years of being a member here i'll be taking my money somewhere else!! and my recommendation to you all is that you do the same! i've heard great things about the lash lounge, blinx, and the lash habit. Got my eyelash lift here today. I was referred to this place by my coworker for eyelash extensions and I was going to do just that until I was reminded I needed to be using oil free products. I had just bought expensive skin care products and wasn't ready to give them up. So I opted for an eyelash lift, something I've done numerous times at other salons. Big mistake. I didn't realize the service was new to amazing lash so I feel the technique hadn't been perfected. There was a very slight curl, a job I could've done better with my eyelash curler so totally not worth the money spent. This place might be best for extensions only. read more

I have gone to this location for over 4 years, i loved my stylist Xenia. But i went to get a refill and i went home and randomly got a terrible pain in my eye. I couldn't even close my eye i felt like there was an eyelash stuck inside the eye. I went to an eye doctor and they couldn't do anything until i had the lashes removed. I went back to amazing lash and they removed the lashes from only one of my eyes and the pain was still there. I went back to the eye doctor and he inverted my eye lid and found a piece of dried glue inside the top of my eyelid. It was the worst pain i've ever experienced and the doctor said it scratched up my cornea pretty bad. I've gotten pink eye from this location before so you can say after this I won't be a customer again. read more

After almost 2 years with Amazing Lash Studios I am finally calling it quits. I moved to San Antonio 3 months ago and within those 3 months I have not once experienced a good or even mediocre experience. My last two appointments I was called and asked if I was able to move my appointment back 10 minutes, which is fine. Upon arrival I had to wait an EXTRA 15-20 minutes for my service, which is not okay. When I finally decided to get my lashes removed after more than half of them falling off after each of my services at this location they charged me a $30 fee. Normally I go 3 to 3 1/2 weeks without a refill, but the lashes from this location didn't even hold up after a week! Plus I still have residue of the glue from the removal that I paid for and it has been 4 days since the removal. The staff was nothing but kind it's just the poor management and lack of customer service as to why my rating is so low. read more

Update from the first review after going in to cancel my membership I have been charged yet again. They should tell you this when you sign the paper to cancel. Yes it does state it in my contract but after the horrible experience I have had with them you would think they would want to do something to make you stop talking so negatively especially after buying all their products after the first visit when you were sold getting lashes then informed it wasn't right because your lashes were damaged from the beginning. Alaina is without a doubt the girl you want to go to for your lash needs! She is so kind, professional and keeps a clean work area. She was the tech who put on my first full set (we did the gorgeous) and from then on I knew she was the one I wanted to keep doing my lashes! She explained the eyelash care so well and let me know everything she was doing as I was curious about the process since it was my first time. For my first refill, I was curious about the 6D volume lashes. She explained them to me and I said let's give it a go. She did so well on them!! It was such a nice looking set, everyone at work couldn't stop asking me about them! The retention on my lashes was so so so good. Her technique and skill is AMAZING. I've been a member for about 3months now. I can say when I first got my lashes done, I absolutely loved them and they lasted per normal time. When I came back for my refill I asked for the same style, requested same lash stylist. Well this time my lashes only lasted about a week. I thought maybe I had gotten too comfortable, slept wrong etc. So as soon as I could schedule my next refill I did. Again, I asked for the same stylist, same style but this time to add 3d because I wasn't getting the fullness I desired. I expressed this concern to my stylist and she suggested I buy their $22 mascara for a bolder look. Really didn't like that option considering the entire reason I want extensions is so that I won't have to wear mascara. Well long and behold, a week later I experienced the same falling out of lashes as I did last time. After this I decided to cancel my membership, as I felt my money was going to waste. When I went in to cancel Val, the receptionists, offered me a courtesy mini-fill with a master stylist. Perfect, my lashes were looking like new again. Val is also the one who had helped me over the phone, the day prior because I was charged incorrectly. She also pointed out ways I could save on fills, products etc. In setting up my next apt she discovered that I had not been getting the lashes I requested, which could be why I had not been satisfied with my look, since my initial visit. For some reason, my lash stylist decided to gv me a shorter length and different style than I requested. So I scheduled with a JR stylist, one who had done Vals lashes (Gorgeous) instead of a newbie. Keeping my fingers crossed my next fill will be to my liking, otherwise I plan to cancel my membership. read more

I absolutely LOVE my lashes! I have had mine for 2 months now, and it has made getting ready so easy! Most days I don't put any eye makeup on at all because I wake up and my eyes already look great thanks to my lashes! My experience at Amazing Lash was excellent! I was nervous about getting them done and didn't know which style or length of lashes to pick. But everyone that works there is so helpful! Jordan explained everything to me and helped me pick the right lashes for me. Jennie does my lashes and she does a great job! The first time getting them put on takes awhile, but Jennie made me so comfortable explaining everything she was doing and even gave me a blanket. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep! read more

My technician would get five stars, but Amazing Lash really should get two stars, because who does not offer tint with a lash lift? Tint is not even an option at Amazing Lash. My lashes are light brown, and though they seem curled okay, I can hardly tell since I still can't see them. I'm sitting in the waiting room of another salon right now waiting on a lash tint. Too bad. If Amazing Lash offered a tint I probably would have come again. read more

I have been a member for only a month, I've gone twice and am already wanting to cancel my membership because of the billing/charges headaches and poor/deceptive communication and sales practices. I was referred by a good friend of mine and made my first appointment over the phone. I requested the stylist my friend uses. I went in, got my service done and when I went to pay I was told I have to pay the introductory rate of $79.99 plus an additional $40 because I requested a master stylist. STRIKE ONE. I said wait a minute, this is my first time here, I WAS NOT explained that over the phone when I booked or I wouldn't have done so. I knew nothing about this, I just innocently requested who my friend uses. They then removed the charge and said be aware of that for next time. Then they tried to sell me a membership and I declined at that time and said I'd think about it. Approximately 2 1/2 weeks later I called and said I'm interested in the membership. And asked can I get a membership and can that count towards my one refill for the month. Staff member said yes and scheduled my appointment to come in that same day. I became a member on 3/20/19 then received my service. They scheduled my first draft of $59.99 to come out a few days later. Then when leaving they said oh you need to pay $57.99. STRIKE 2. I said excuse me. She said well this is your second refill this month this is why we promote the two refills membership. I said this is my FIRST refill. When I came 2 1/2 weeks ago it was my first full set. And I was told come back for a refill in 2 to 3 weeks. And when I called to discuss membership, I was told I can join today and the membership fee I pay today will allow me my one refill for this month that I need. I was not told I'd have to pay for service today and then be billed the membership fee again in a few days. She then adjusted my draft date and said ok, we'll just do an early draft of your membership so you don't have to pay again in a few days. Next issue came up today. So again, I called to schedule a refill appointment and spoke with Madison. I said to her please let me know if there is going to be any issues or charges unknown to me because I've been blindsided on two occasions already. Can I come in for my monthly refill today without any additional charges? I am a member, it is a new month, it's been 3 weeks and I'm on the one refill a month plan. She then advised if I come in before my draft date, I will be charged. If it's three days prior then they will draft early. And the timing falls in a manner such that if it's 4 weeks you will be charged for a full set. My intention from the beginning was to make sure that I care for and service my lashes in a timely manner monthly and avoid additional charges beyond my membership fee. That is what I've been doing but each time I've gone, I've been deceived and misled by the representatives as they seek to omit details to get more money. I explained to her that I am really frustrated because when this membership was sold to me, I was told I can come in once a month at any time for a refill. I was never told it has to be ON the draft date or I will be charged. And if I wait until the draft date, VOILA, I will be charged for a full set and my monthly fee. So it's a lose lose situation for me. If I come at the recommended 3 week mark, I'll get charged extra. If I come on my draft date, I'll get charged a full set plus my membership. If I come three days prior, they'll draft early, which will throw of my personal bill schedule along with my lash refill schedule. It will be a never ending cycle that forces you into a situation where you can't just have a monthly membership and get one refill without extra charges each month. There really isn't a point in them offering the one refill a month membership, it's a set up. I've been lied to and blindsided the entire month I've been a member. This is awful. This is very deceptive sales practices. I'm so disappointed and upset for being misled. I loved getting my lashes done. But I'm over the dishonesty and how they nickel and dime. Just be honest and upfront so people can make an informed decision, instead of deceiving people into a contract to benefit yourself. I asked to speak with a manager because I'm wanting to cancel my membership after only one month and was told "I'll get a call back" they don't know when a manager will be there.
