I am OBSESSED with how amazing Maui looks after his grooming appointment! This place is hands down one of the best grooming experiences we've ever had. The staff was so sweet and made Maui feel right at home from the moment we arrived. When I picked him up, I was blown away--he looked so clean, fluffy, and happy! They did such a careful, detailed job and gave him the cutest little finishing touches. You can really tell they love what they do and treat every dog like their own. I hate leaving reviews but I felt I needed to say it. I love this place! I'm very picky when it comes to my dogs. They are my kids and I won't just drop them off anywhere. The moment I walked in, I could tell the place was well kept and clean... could literally smell the freshness. The staff greeted us right away and treated my dogs like a part of family. The grooming itself was overall great. My dogs didn't leave there stressed out. They left looking, smelling and feeling amazing! They took the time to ask about my preferences and paid close attention to my older dog's needs. It's clear that the team genuinely cares. 1.) everyone is so nice. 2.) my dogs were groomed, so I guess it's a success. 3.) my dogs were safe and everyone seemed to care about my dogs. 4.) when we got home I had to fix their ears. We paid for our dogs to be groomed and they took tip before we saw our dogs. (That's my mistake.). The ears are uneven and I'm disappointed. We won't be going back and I hate that because again everyone was so nice but I paid $65 for 2 dogs and $75 for three other dogs. And I got to do work on them too. (We've previously had great groomer who charged for every add-on so it worked out that they were more expensive. This one was the same base price but didn't charge you because your dog is using their oxygen and stuff. This groomer includes all of that but the quality I was hoping for wasn't. read more

Moved to the area recently. Brought my scruffy mini poodle in today for grooming. They got me in within 3 weeks of calling. Everyone else I checked with was booked 6 months out. She's a rescue dog so she's a very timid and I let them know. They obviously did a great job because she was happy when I picked her up. They even did a quick nail trim for my Pom-Chi while we were dropping her off. The prices are very reasonable! read more

If I could give them zero stars I would do it. Took our golden retriever who does not have anxiety or crate anxiety there for a full groom. Got a call that he was trying to bite his way out of the crate they put him in and his tooth broke off. Obviously no one was watching him or something extremely sketchy and suspicious happened. (Definitely think the latter). He was in extreme pain when we picked him up and they refused to give us even a discount on his grooming. The owner didn't talk to us or show us what happened. And he had to get surgery which was incredibly expensive because of their carelessness. The people who work here are terrible. I've personally seen the owner talk down to employees in front of customers. We are never taking our dog there again. Way too over priced for a crappy job they do and lack of experience everyone there has. Do not trust them with your pet. read more

We dropped the dog off at 12:30p and came back at 4:30p, then they decided to groom him at 4:30p. Why the hell did you have me come back at 4:30p when you hadn't started yet. He's been groomed numerous times at another location, but they were booked out for a month. Lord knows I should've never come here, then they CHARGED US DOUBLE WITH NO EXPLANATION. read more

This is our second visit. This place treats your pets like family. All concerns and requests are listened to and done. My short haired dachshunds only need nail trims, but I have watched other groomers working on haircuts. They love animals here. Don't go anywhere else 8/28/18 Not feeling the walk- in love today. Yes, they saw my boys right away for nail trimming. Yes, their nails were done well enough. Here's the rub. The last three times we have been in the for walk-in nail trims my boys were held while being trimmed. This doesn't sound so bad till you see a dachshund 17 lbs with his legs dangling, nervous and uncomfortable. I'm wondering if we need an appointment to get a grooming table? Amazing Tails always does such a great job with our Giant Schnauzer Murphy! Schnauzer get a unique hair cut and they always do a great job. The place is clean, inviting, and the people working their are so helpful, quick & polite! They always take Murphy straight back and allow us to swing back and pick him up later (which gives my wife an added bonus break during her at home work day). Our normal groomer was booked and we decided to book our 4 year old golden retriever here. I asked them NOT to shave him but cut him a little short. When I picked him up they had shaved him which, if you know about Golden Retrievers you know you shouldn't do that. So we left a one star review for the visit. The OWNER (Cynthia) of Amazing Tails texted my wife and I coming at us with all kinds of excuses why they are not to blame. Got fairly nasty with us- super unprofessional. She even sent us a video of my conversation dropping off my dog AND picking him up to try to justify the mistake instead of trying to resolve. At this point I hadn't even asked for a refund. Today I had to bring my dog to the vet because he is having an allergic reaction to being shaved down and has an infection in his mouth from them cleaning his teeth. I sent the owner of Amazing Tails a copy of my vet bill ($500) and she called my vet because she thought I was making it all up. At this point, all I asked for was a refund of the grooming visit. Instead of addressing the issue, she literally called my vet. It's one thing to make a mistake. It's another thing to get belligerent towards a customer for wanting it to be addressed. After speaking with my vet, she texted us saying "There is no way to prove that the skin irritation and mouth issues were BECAUSE of the grooming". In four years, he's never had any issues and we were NOT asking for help with the vet bill, simply a refund on the grooming. I decided to create a post on my neighborhood Facebook page because we live close to Amazing Tails. I wanted to let my neighbors know of our experience but also wanted to see if my experience was a "one-off" and it very much was not. My neighbors had similar experiences with dogs being shaved wrong, unprofessional interactions with the owner and staff etc ... I try to support local small businesses because that's what it is all about. And I almost NEVER leave a bad review on here. But this is one local small business that I do not recommend. read more

When I started taking my small dog to Amazing Tails they were wonderful. The groomer always did a wonderful job and the staff was always courteous. Once the business grew and relocated they began offering additional services. I began to use them for boarding services. The first stay went well, the owner even called to obtain feedback on the new service. Ever since then this establishment has turned very sour. My dogs were on a week long stay as I was out of the country. Upon returning I was notified that one of my dogs pottied in the kennel resulting in a bath and kennel clean out. According to the employee this happened on more than one occasion in that stay so my dogs were placed into a bigger kennel to which I was charged for without prior conversation. Along with this visit the pick up hours were changed again without communication and I began receiving rude text messages yelling at me. I decided to let this go and use a different business. Today i thought I'd give them another opportunity and take my dog back for grooming services. I received a text letting me know that my dog was ready. Since I work a customer facing job I don't have immediate access to my phone so I could not check my text messages to let my husband know it was time to pick the dog up. While on my lunch hour I received another text from them yelling at me again that they require pick up within 1 hour of grooming completion. This doesn't sit well with me as when is it appropriate to speak to your customers like this. I can't let this time go without posting this review. I don't recommend this establishment for any services as they act very unprofessional. The speak to they clients inappropriately and don't communicate well. Please be very selective prior to considering this business as you will not be treated respectfully. read more

My mom took my dog there 4/11/23 and my dog hasn't been the same since. They cut him down way too short when she said she wanted a teddy bear look. He didn't look like he had been bathed and his nails weren't cut. For $60 (he's a small dog) you would think the basics would be done. But he's walking and curling in on himself like they pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve. Plus the fact that they take no responsibility if an animal gets hurt while in their care is sketch to me. We just moved to the area and so we thought we would try them but never again. My dog paid the price for our connivence. read more

I booked an appointment for my dogs a month in advance and the day before my appointment and a holiday they weekend they send a text message saying "due to COVID exposure we are closed for 5 days". Wtf! THE DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT AND A HOLIDAY WEEKEND!! No call, just a text. Worst customer service and I would not recommend this place to anyone. They never have enough groomers and look at what they do when you book a month in advance. Don't waste your money or time. read more

I liked this place at first but yesterday we had a horrible experience. I had heard from other people saying that they switched groomers because this place isn't what it used to be but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because we've always used them. First of all, they make appointments but then your dog isn't finished being groomed for like four or five hours after the appointment time. What's the point of having appointments?! My dog shouldn't have to sit in a kennel for 3+ hours before his grooming is started if we have an appointment! It makes absolutely no sense! Then they called me around 2:00 p.m. after I drop my dog off around 10:15 a.m. and said that I needed to come and get my dog because he was being aggressive towards other dogs. I'm no dog expert but I know the difference between true aggression and anxiety and what he was displaying was definitely anxiety which is completely understandable considering he had been thrown in a cage for 3 hours or more before they even started the grooming! My dog is around other dogs all the time. I have multiple family members who have dogs and my dog has never been aggressive toward people or other dogs. They have employees there grooming dogs who aren't educated at all about dog behavior or how to prevent or control it. Also if you are a groomer and you're afraid that you or another pet may be bitten why aren't there muzzles available to be used for this issue? Then I get there to pick him up and of course he's only HALF groomed and he was thrown back in a kennel after he had probably already been in the kennel for over 3 hours before his half-ass grooming started! Just overall a bad and very unprofessional experience. I do not recommend this place at all. There are so many other great options in this community. read more
