Awful experience. We have given this place so much business. They booked our dogs and we went to drop them off and they said "we can't take them because we need an updated vaccine." They told us on the phone on a recorded line that we didn't need the updated vaccines before this stay. I took my dog over here for a first time visit. " A meet and greet". The Staff was great and friendly. But they would not let me inspect the facilities. This bothered me They gave me lots of reasons. I left my dog there for about 3 hours then picked him up. All seemed fine. Then it started. He was freaked out and hide from me. Later I could see he was so upset and still hiding. I must say, something went on at this Place with my dog. I do not know what, but I will never take him back. I know my dog and Never have I seen him so upset. We have a 1 yr old Goldendoodle, Luca and I just had my first boarding experience ever and it was great! Our daughter had her first out of state soccer tournament so we HAD to board him and we've never done it before with any of our previous dogs either. The place is 5 minutes from where we live and the reviews seemed positive, so we gave them a shot and we're glad we did. He got a bath and brush while he was there and he looked perfect at pickup. I don't like giving bad reviews but - here goes Getting them on the phone is not easy. It's annoying to have to keep calling & calling. But when they have your pet, its beyond time for them to be done and they don't answer the phone and my calls keep getting cut off, that is called panicking. They finally answered when I was on my way there. I told her I had been calling and being hung up on for about 20 minutes. She laughed and said that's what happens when we're busy..hmmm I pulled up and I was the only car/person there picking up..Busy!? The groomer did a good job but honestly I have never been to a place that didn't. Its about customer service. These just aren't some animals they are beloved family members. When you have the responsibility of one of our family member we need to be able to reach you. We need to believe what you say on your website is true. I will never take Ellie there again. Covud gas them coming to the car which I understand but they took her collar and leash off and didnt have one if thise throw aways to put on her. She's small, 16 lbs but she can be frisky and they are right on a busy highway. So today I asked them again to please put a leash on her when they brought her out. read more

Update 7/16/19 - New owner has revived this place to its former glory. Boarded both our Golden and Husky the week of 7/1/19 in the super suite and couldn't be happier. They now type in all feeding and medication instructions into their system so the employees have clear concise instructions on your pet's daily routine. Shawna is still with them after all these years, and recognized us as soon as we entered. Both dogs always get a lot of attention and love from her. They took the time to call me after I completed their survey to see what they could do to improve anything. We will definitely be back. read more

I have been using Regal Beagle since 2016. I have asked every time I bring my dog to get a bath and a brush out that please take him out to go to the bathroom. They have never tajen him out to use the bathroom. I know this because he goes to the bathroom for about 6 minutes. They also do not clip his nails or do a sanitary trim like I have asked. I was able to meet one. She was super nice and she spent over 20 minutes of her time giving me a tour and explaining about her back ground (which was impressive). This place is awesome!!! I have a great Pyrenees puppy(6months) and they were so good with her. From the moment I dropped her off to the moment I picked her up she was so happy. The people are so nice! It's super reasonably priced. I paid 30% more at the groomer I was going to before and this one is so much better. I've never seen my dog so bright white before. This is NOT a good place to board a cat. I honestly don't think they should even offer cat boarding. Our cat is the sweetest, friendliest cat. He doesn't even squirm when he gets shots. He will show his belly to people he met 5 minutes previously. Yet because of the atrocious set up of this boarding location, he turned into an aggressive hissing mess for the first time EVER. I feel like an idiot for not asking to see the set up before leaving him there. My boyfriend and I almost started crying when we saw it. The cat room is tiny, and it is smack in the middle of the dog kennels. Our cat is not good with dogs. The echoing from the barking was so loud that it drove me crazy after 5 minutes--our cat was there for a WEEK. It's not soundproof, separated, or in any way suitable for cats who are not used to dogs. This is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1--we should have inspected instead of assuming they'd keep the cats decently separated from the dogs. I'm also irritated they never called us and told us he was being aggressive. You would think they would want the owners opinion and advice on what to do and why he is being this way. Instead they chose to be afraid of him and not try to find a solution to the problem. I'm frustrated we paid $100 for what we assumed would be a safe, happy environment for our cat, and instead he spent an entire week stressed out and upset. They failed in their job to provide our pet with a safe environment. We will not be back, needless to say. This seems like a great place for dogs. Some may say this is common sense given the dog themed naming of the business--but again...why offer cat boarding if you are not going to make it a safe environment for ALL cats? I also want to clarify my cat has boarded before at places that had better separation of cats and dogs and had no problems. We chose this place out of convenience on our drive to the airport from our house. Next time I'll be sure to drive out of my way. read more

Called them this morning to see about having my dachshunds toenails clipped. Was very hesitant to call after reading the reviews. Not so much about the service but about this person named "Jackie". I asked my questions and asked if Jackie was still there to which I was told "No she is no longer with us". Thank god because I don't deal well with rude people. So after talking to Eric we took our babies up there and yes I will be taking them back on a regular basis. The new owners are not running this place well. I tried to communicate with them about my recent problem but they couldn't be bothered to call me back. After giving explicit instructions on their website and in writing when dropping off my dogs, my dog was not given his anxiety meds and came home with a twisted stomach which required surgery or euthanasia. We chose the expensive surgery and are lucky he's still alive. No one told us that he was experiencing anxiety when we picked him up. It wasn't until we called back that they told us he was having trouble when being groomed. Please don't put your dog at risk and use the Regal Beagle in Paulding County. read more

This place has gone down hill, since the first time we boarded our dog. I think they are too big and their hours of actual time in the building, too little. My dog has never pooped in a kennel before. He is an adult dog, and if given the right amount of time to go out, he can hold it for at least 13 hours. If you are leaving the dogs unattended for that long, you need to rethink your business. They Han ded me his bed in a bag and didn't even say there was poop on it. What an awesome thing to unfold and have flung into you (insert sarcasm). His nose is raw. Never had that happen before, either. What happened to the girl who used to check the dogs in and out? Jackie the receptionist is rude rude rude!!! I called to cancel my dogs appointment well within the cancellation policy and she got snippy with me as if I was not allow to cancel. She expected me to explain to her why I needed to cancel. Really Lady??? I called back at a later time to reschedule and she was still rude and told me to go elsewhere then hung up in my face. When ever I pick him up from boarding or grooming, my dog always smells great and is happy! Our dog trainer recommended this grooming salon to us. Took my German Shepherd mix here last week and I couldn't have been happier with the results. The customer service was excellent (Jackie at the front desk as well as on the phone) and the haircut and grooming my sweetie received was wonderful! She looked absolutely fantastic. My dog is a momma's girl who doesn't like to be anywhere but with me at all times. She is pretty skittish around strangers and likes things the way she likes them. They treated her very well. 4/30/2018: Updated Review. They groomed my cat again as she got really matted again over the Winter and I couldn't clean her up myself. I ultimately decided on the lion cut and Iove it on her. When I picked her up she looked so sassy....and acted a bit sassy too! I think she really likes this cut as she has more energy than ever. Again, Regal Beagle did a fantastic job!! 8/30/2016: Regal Beagle did a fantastic job on grooming my Maine Coon, Scout. She had some matted hair that I was not able to cut out on her neck and around her tail. They removed them & trimmed her up. She looks beautiful & is strutting around the house!! I boarded my dog here for 2 days to test them for a week vacation I have coming up and I was seriously dissapointed. I gave them sheet of paper with basic info and instructions for my dog i.e. when and what treats to give her, her food schedule and proportions, toys that should be taken away at night. I also packed a kong (with a treat and peanut butter already in it) in her bag with extra treats with instructions to give her 1 or 2 a day. The employees didn't read the instructions when I gave it to them, they didn't seem concerned with anything I said and only wanted to take her to the back. When I picked her up the kong I packed was still in the baggie with the same treat and peanut butter I put in it. None of her milkbones or kong treats had been used ( I counted how many I put in the bags when I packed). I will be calling them in the morning and talking to the manager. I feel like they left my dog in her "suite" the entire time and didn't pay attention to her or to my instructions for her. Don't use this place if you care about how your dog is treated read more

What happened to this place? Website and in-store state that they groom up until 5pm with an appointment. Walked in for just a nail clipping before 4pm, I've been there many times before at this time and never gotten an appointment for this or had an issue but today must have been special and I was read the riot act and got tons of attitude from "Ms. Jackie" who pretty much shamed me in front of other customers. When I pushed the issue I was told they were a boutique salon for dogs and their groomers didn't like to work past 2:30. Then she drug my dog to the back and came back claiming she was bitten repeatedly and said they had to muzzle my dog, which I highly doubt since my dog was screaming the entire time in the back. and proceeded to charge me nearly $30 for the entire service because my dog was "extra difficult". Frankly I'm appalled at the attitude and treatment I received, my dog who has never bitten anyone at any other groomers was visibly upset, and frankly I refuse to consider giving them anymore business or recommendations. BTW, the entire front of their store is currently infested with bugs. read more

Did I mention they tack on ridiculous charges for any reason they can find. Dog too big? dog won't sit still? dog fur is "long"? Reagle Beagle has more hidden fees than my bank!! Do not recommend, and definitely avoid Jackie- a close friend who I recommended here (after my first visit I thought the place was decent) brought in their puppy who was attacked (albeit mildly, leaving only a slight limp for a day) by another dog in Regal Beagle. When my family member proceeded to check for bite marks etc they said Jackie turned extremely rude and had zero compassion or empathy towards the situation.
