Five stars all the way! Amazing Thai Princeton never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a menu that caters to all tastes. Whether you're a fan of spicy food or prefer milder flavors, there's something for everyone here. I'm a huge fan of their Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. We also get their papaya salad during summer times as it is so refreshingly good. The quality of the ingredients shines through in every dish, and the presentation is always top-notch. Honestly, I don't pay much attention to service if the food is good, but at a slightly upscale restaurant like this I suppose it's something to consider. The service was great and the food was prepared quickly. I don't place much attention on atmosphere, but Amazing Thai definitely meets expectations. The outside eating area is clean, well-lit, and decorated. The inside has a modern aesthetic that elevates the space. It's no wonder this place has become a local favorite. Whether you're a longtime fan of Thai cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a must-visit!

Another wonderful unplanned dining experience. Rainy night after a movie stopped in and they were packed but luckily they had a table for us. Ordered green curry with and my wife had the pad Thai with . Both dishes were beautifully presented and tasted just as great.

Came here today for lunch, wasn't feeling very hungry so we ordered 1 lunch special for the 2 of us but when we asked for another set of utensils, we were told by the waitress that we cannot share a lunch special. Per the waitress, "1 set for one person, no share." I've never been to a restaurant that is not all you can eat where you are not allowed to share food. The food is great but her not giving us another set of utensils and not allowing sharing just made me lose my appetite even more

It's not the best Thai restaurant I've been to but it wasn't terrible either. The ambiance was great, the service was good but a bit slow because it was so busy on a weekend night. They have both indoor and outdoor dining and we chose to sit outside which was nice. Space inside can be limited. I got the pad Thai and I did enjoy it even though it's not my go to noodle usually. Portions were decent and I had enough leftover.

I've somehow never realized this place existed despite passing this a thousand times. It's about a 15 -20 min walk from downtown, so it can be easy to miss. Parking isn't that easy, we ended up parking on Pine Street which is a little far. We made a reservation for our group for a Saturday night, but I don't think it was actually needed. There was a lot of space outdoors and some indoors. The staff were really kind and would drop by often. I have a lot of pride for my spice tolerance but the green curry here humbled me. I was blowing my nose and couldn't even finish the dish. It's surprising that they do not ask for level of spice like in other Thai restaurants, I wonder if you're able to ask for modifications. Despite this, the curry was flavorful and the amount of seafood was fair for the price. The crab rangoons were decent with the sauce elevating them. My favorite item actually ended up being the lychee Thai tea! It tasted exactly like Thai tea with the right amount of lychee to make this drink refreshing, especially for the jersey humidity. Overall, I would love to come back to Amazing Thai to try their array of fruity drinks and mocktails, and even their drunken noodles (which are hopefully not as spicy).

Went with friends for a weeknight dinner. Food was tasty and well portioned. Nothing out of the ordinary, but decent place. Definitely worth trying once. It's located in Princeton University area which is beautiful in itself. Parking is road side. Ambience and Service is good.

Drunken Noodles supposedly super spicy !! Was blah and bland...

Was our first real outing post Covid lockdown . Driving back from Princeton we made an impromptu decision to pick up dinner as we were hungry and didn't want to eat the same ol home food. Choices were limited for quick take out as most places had a long wait . Given we were in a rush , I picked Amazing Thai as it had good Yelp reviews , the food pictures looked appetizing and they promised a 30 min takeout! We just ordered veggie spring roll (fried ) & chicken drunken noodles. Picked up and food and we opened the spring roll in the car . Wanted to taste it when it was fresh & hot . There were just 3 small rolls with a side of mustard vinegar dipping sauce. Was crunchy , inside out , delicately spiced with the tangy pungent dipping sauce . We even missed taking a picture for Yelp and remembered when I got to the last bite. We were kicked into high gear for the spring roll experience that we got home & excitedly opened the so called super spicy drunken noodles . First look ... pale white looking noodles ...... silence for a few seconds ......hmmmmm! Heavy breathing pursued the silence ... the real deal noodles wasn't anything like it was in the pictures on Yelp nor did it appear spicy or seasoned like I've seen the dish at other Thai restaurants. Warmed some in a bowl and too my first bite . Wide flat noodles was definitely fresh made and that was it ! Other than salt there was no seasoning that I could taste . Spices or spicy had no place in describing this dish. Bland & Blah are the right words that came to my mind . I prefer not to write something bad about a place especially in challenging times like this . But I don't want other yelpers to be misled by their menu description or pictures & be disappointed expecting a spicy dish. The Chicken in the noodles was plain cooked and didn't add much to the dish . I pushed most of the noodles down my throat over a 25 minute span, as I didn't want to throw or waste food. If they can't get a pretty basic but most preferred Thai dish like Drunken noodles right , not sure I will like trust them to get others right ! Try this place at your discretion!

Tight space indoors but good friendly service. Love that they have a pure vegan section on their menu. Ordered vegan "duck" but was a bit grossed out by the look more than then feel. Recommend the vegetable mix served with yellow curry and jasmine rice. Popular place with super quick serving.

Thai restaurant in Princeton, NJ Was here Sunday lunch (noon) and we were the only customers inside. We ordered beef pad thai ($16) and lemongrass seafood($28). Pad thai was very bland and beef was too chewy. Lemongrass seafood was very salty and didn't have a fish fillet and it didn't taste fresh. I think they were using frozen seafood packet. The dishes tasted more chinese than thai and seafood dish was very dissappointing.

    Pad Thai with crispy duck

I can't believe this place is only rated 3.5 stars. It deserves all five!! I had the Thai iced tea and the crispy duck pad Thai and the flavor exemplified everything I love about Thai food. I'm Chinese and I also found that the duck sauce used for it even tasted similar to Peking duck sauce. Eating here alone makes me wish I went to Princeton for college!

Pretty good place. Like others have said they have a very cute outdoor set up and plenty of heat lamps to stay warm. Seems like they aren't fully staffed and only have one person taking care of everyone so things were a little slow compared to other places but not too big of a problem. Chicken Pad Thai was good, but nothing spectacular. The chicken was very soft and tasty and the portion was about what you would expect for the price you pay. Definitely think they could make this even better with either cilantro or green onions to balance the thai sauce. You'll leave here satisifed but definitely wishing for a little more. On the higher-end of the scale of restaurants on Nassau and would come back for special occasions or a nice dinner with friends.

Taiwanese popcorn chicken: This was cooked thoroughly and was delicious when you bite into it. This was definitely worth ordering if you decide to come here. Ultimate Lanzhou beef noodles: My brother said this noodle soup was not spicy at all. In fact it had too much of the black vinegar taste instead. The beef was cooked thoroughly, and the noodles were just all right with nothing special. Lanzhou beef noodles: The soup base for this noodle soup was very bland as if it was just soaking in water. The beef did not have flavor but was cooked thoroughly. The noodles would have tasted a bit better if the soup base had a little flavor to it. Overall: I might give this place a try again if I ever come back down to the Princeton area. Otherwise, I probably would not take the 1-hour drive down here just to dine at this noodle shop. A suggestion would be that they should try to perfect the soup base as the noodles are already good.

The straight thin noodles were al dente. They maintained their texture in the broth, brilliantly. The broth was deep and flavorful. - Pork belly Donburi - 4.5/5 stars The juicy tender pork belly was plentiful, sliced perfectly as their we're not too thick nor paper thin. Their flavor was rich, savory with a balance of sweetness from the soy dashi sauce. Elegantly layered in top of a humongous bowl of seasoned rice, along with a sprinkle of scallions, pickled radishes, and sesame seeds. The photo on their menu does not do it justice. I would have loved a jammy egg to be included to bring the dish to the next level. - Gyoza - 3.5/5 stars 5 pieces of Pan-fried gyoza dumplings with their dumpling sauce. I would prefer them to have been fried a bit more. The balance between their pork and cabbage was even. They were delightfully light in both taste and texture. The service was very good. Both Willie, the owner, and a charming waiter named Sung served us. Sung kept coming over checking in to attest our cups were full, and if we needed anything else.
