We went here on a nice summer evening. We ordered dumplings and the dough was literally raw. I have never sent a dish back but this was inedible and we had to send it back! They still charged us for it!!! Their main course was not bad but it took over an over to get our food. They add 20% gratuity for party of 5 or more. Our 5th person was a 9 month old baby and they still added the gratuity. This place is incredibly over priced for the food and the service. Pad thai spring rolls - 3 pieces served with sriracha yogurt sauce - they were a nice twist to the original spring rolls with pad thai stuffing. We felt that the dipping sauce could have been better or it should just have been served with thai chili sauce 2. Pad thai noodles with tofu - Great flavor! Not so spicy. I asked them for sriracha hot sauce on the side and added it to the noodles to make them spicy 3. Amazing Thai is literally THE best thai food i've ever had. We came here and made reservations for mother's day in 2021. They had really good covid protocols in place. The service was excellent. The interior was beautiful. The food WAS NEXT LEVEL. Everything we ordered tasted so delicious. My tastebuds were literally dancing. I dream of this delicious meal. Chicken wings: super good, sauce was sweet and also savory (mostly savory) 3. Beef Queen of Siam Basil: It had a hint of a smoky taste that I really liked. Personally I really love Amazing Thai! I've seen it change quite a bit since it opened, but the staff has always been so kind, courteous, and attentive. The menu seems to have upgraded since I last came here (in terms of variety of dishes and also price) but everything is delicious, the establishment is very clean and attractive, and the food is fantastic. The Volcanic chicken was a bit dry the last time I came, so I wouldn't recommend that. I did really enjoy the Tom Kha soup (very bright and flavorful). The pittaya noodles with tofu were also delectable (reminiscent of Cantonese style flat noodles). Lots of variety is available so this place is great for vegetarians or vegans. You can also tone down the spice level if you wish, but as someone who loves spicy food, you can definitely satisfy a craving for intense spice here as well. I think there are some improvements that can be made to the menu but overall, this is one of my go-to restaurants in Princeton and I hope they continue to improve! read more

The reason I am giving 2 star is because of the restaurant air conditioner not turned on. The temperature outside was 90 and the door to the inside seating was open with flies flying on our food. it was hot and not sure why the ac was not on. we requested and they said will turn it on but imagine with this temperature how long will that take to cool down. i am very surprised this especially when we paid so much for the food and service. Food was very good but the service was not great - it was not that busy on a Thursday night and we had to ask multiple times for napkins a knife etc. also when it's time to pay they just come to the table with a small tablet and give you a total. No bill to review or see anything. Walked into the place on a busy Saturday evening, summer outdoor seating made for great ambience, they seemed quite busy but we were seated immediately, friendly staff , positive vibe - so far so good. The food unfortunately did not live up to our expectations - The Tom kha gai soup was ok - chicken felt dry and was quite separate from the coconut broth as if just dunked in at the last second. Same with the Thai basil chicken and the green curry - felt as if separately cooked components were quickly put together and the mixed sweet sour tangy flavor with the silken texture to the meats you expect from great Thai food was sadly missing. Had dinner with my husband and both our parents a few weeks ago. Dinner was delicious! A lot of great vegetarian options and everything was delicious from our Tom kha soups, drunken noodles, fried rice and spicy eggplant. But what really stood out was the vegetarian green curry. I have had so many green curries and I have to say this was the best in taste and quality! The drunken noodles were dry, oily lumpy & no flavor or taste. Pattaya noodles (vegan) were very bland, oily and no flavor. Sweet & sour vegetables, mostly carrots, onions, bell peppers & cooked cucumber, no Thai flavoring at all and also very oily. The Crispy Pork Belly Prik Khing was spicy enough and tasty - the only thing that was. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice wasn't spicy at all, with no basil that I could see. The House Soup was plain. This is the best Thai restaurant at which I have ever eaten. The tom kah soup has a rich opaque broth and is bursting with flavor. The balance of lime and coconut is perfect, with plenty of fresh mushrooms and the right amount of chicken. The esan papaya salad was fres, crisp and well dressed. My main course was seafood spaghetti kee-mow, which is egg noodles in a tasty red sauce (not tomato) with plenty of fresh calamari, shrimp, scallops and fish. The service was exceptionally attentive and the staff was very concerned that we have the best experience possible. We are meeting friends here for dinner in a few days, and these friends have an equally high opinion of Amazing Thai. We will definitely return often. Please try this restaurant.
