Ambience was great, music was great, and the hostess was super friendly. We were seated immediately in the cutest semi private table for 2. I ordered the Pho with beef and my daughter ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. Didn't take long for the food to come out. Large portions and simply delicious!!! I will definitely be back! By the way, they are BYOB, and you can get seating for large crowds. Yeah...this will not be my last time here!!

We were lucky enough to get one of the private area for 2. I loved that the menu had photos of the food to see what it would look like. Unfortunately the photos didn't really match up to what the dishes looked like, which was disappointing. We started with the crab Rangoon which was delicious. Lots of cream cheese just the way I like them and nice portion size. I had the shrimp pad Thai. I thought something was missing, turned out they used no peanuts. When I inquired they said I ordered it that, which I did not. The brought me peanuts, when I was ready to go. The lunch portion size was a nice size and the shrimp were on the large side. My friend had the green curry. The presentation was not great. The portion size was small and it really it just wasn't anything fantastic. . Also the presentation was not the best. Definitely an easy area to improve. Maybe we just caught them on an off day but unfortunately I would probably pass on returning.

Putting a side the fact they serve you on paper plates when eating inside, that would be acceptable if the food made up for it, sadly it didn't. The menu is restrictive compared to a full blown Thai kitchen, but what they have is decent. We ordered their Curry Samosa as an appetizer(flakey shell hiding a stuffed pocket of curried mashed sweet potato), Red Curry w Chicken (soupy bowl with slivers of chicken, veggies in a red curry stock) and Pad Kee Mo w Veggies (wide noodles with mildly spiced onion, tomato, mushroom, carrot and broccoli). Table service was friendly. The overall impression was that while this operation was fast and provided adequate substance on the plate and bowl, that it was oriented toward fast student life, not the gourmand. Not that it was less expensive than a full scale food house (it is Princeton, after all), but with limited menu and a weak hand of the spice reins, it wasn't really about satisfying the customer on the deliciousness scale. Good enough was good enough. 3.5 Stars for plentiful middle of the Thai Road cuisine. Next time I ask for Thai Spicy.

I ordered my standard pad Thai with shrimp and friend got the garlic beef with veggies and brown rice. Both were delicious, although not spicy... we had requested a 2 and a 3 out of four. Would rather have it less spicy than overheated, but definitely added more chilis ourselves. Reasonably priced especially for the portions! Would definitely recommend and return!

My go-to and my kid's favorite is the chicken Pad Thai. I like that you can choose your spice level including no spice, and their mild is actually mild while still making things interesting. My husband liked the Green Curry Chicken, and my daughter loves the Chicken Laab (or Larb), which is super tasty ground chicken with fish sauce and bright lime flavors over greens. The entree portions are huge. An entree with rice can easily stretch into two or three meals for me, which is always a win. The only miss was the Mango with Sticky Rice. The mango was ripe, sweet, and tender, but the rice was a little hard and clumped together. Still, Thai Mama is quick, generous, and tasty enough that it has earned a spot in our takeout rotation.

The wait staff were so nice and welcoming. The restaurant itself is quite lovely. The seating along the side wall is pretty cozy so the diner next to you isn't too far away. There were people who didn't know each other talking to each other about the food and so many other things. It was quite endearing. Now, on to the food. We started with the Tom Yum Soup and Peking Duck Roti Wraps. I never had Tom Yum Soup but I will for sure get it again (hopefully it's this good elsewhere). The tang and spice of the soup is so good and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. I absolutely loved it! The Duck Roti wraps also very tasty. What a creative blending of cuisine. For our entrees we had the Basil Fried Rice and the Panang Curry. The rice was nice and moist, rice cooked perfectly and so flavorful. The Panang Curry was spectacular! The creaminess, sweetness and depth of flavors is just so good. I wish this place wasn't so far because I definitely would be back a lot. I highly recommend this restaurant!
