A clean and bright store! Fun and easy to use carts! Friendly and helpful employees! A $5 coupon just for spending $25! The salad bar is a definite deal! We will return!

This is my go-to grocery spot ONLY with a coupon. I got sad when I saw the mailer didn't have a coupon one week and didn't think it was worth the visit since their prices tend to be on the higher end. I've seen the coupons for $20 off of $40 and $10 off of $50, which is pretty good now that inflation is at 9.1% and any savings is great. I have an Amazon prime account (through my sister, who also has an Amazon credit card) and use my phone to scan in. I prefer the orange shopping cart since it's small and cute and I don't overdo it on grocery things. I bring my own bag since I bag all my stuff in when I add items to my cart. They have some sales but it's only on specific items. Most shelves are stocked but Amazon doesn't have a variety like a grocery store would stock. The past couple days of the Prime Day deals was the most packed and crowded I've seen the grocery store whereas it's normally pretty quiet and slightly empty, which I prefer. It's honestly nice to go grocery shopping knowing you know what you're going to get without having to talk to anybody or ask anybody where anything is (there's Alexa at some of the aisles for that LOL). If anything, I would ask for shrimp or mussels by the pound at the deli section but that's the only communication needed lol Their rotisserie chicken for $4.97 is pretty tasty and comparable to Costco. I've had their 3-pack sushi rolls recently and it was pretty fresh tasting too. Their return policy is pretty solid and it does take a number of hours of your purchase to show up on the app but otherwise most of my purchases have been accurate. It said on one grocery run that I bought 3 ice cream tubs but I didn't end up purchasing any ice cream, not even close to the flavor they claimed I purchased :( LOL Please keep sending the mailers with ads and most importantly coupons :D

I have to say, I love this store! I'm so glad it's close to home and I can do my grocery shopping…read morehere. The store is always clean and tidy, everything neatly in its place. It's never crowded either so you can do your shopping without trying to beat the crowd, especially on the weekends. The staff is super helpful, and just the other day while I was looking for a rare ingredient, one of the ladies there helped me find it. I was surprised they even had it! Win! Their prices are also super reasonable. Another win. I love that they have fresh local flowers, seasonal beers, and tons of cheese! They also have a pretty big aisle with Asian ingredients. Thank goodness I don't have to drive to Ranch 99! Also a big plus is that they have Starbucks inside the store. And it's never crowded! Yay for Moorpark Ralph's.

On the upside, checkers Kim and Johnny, and deli worker Letty are friendly and helpful people…read more On the downside, the store itself is not very well managed. The deli and meat counters are often unstaffed, and you will often hear "customer needs help at the deli/meat counter", and even then, I've still had to wait for up to 10 minutes for a worker to arrive, with other customers being just as frustrated. Furthermore, sometimes their food is not even out on display to purchase (I went to the deli counter today at about 10 am, and it was completely EMPTY). There was even one case a year ago where the entire deli and bakery were closed, and I was told it was because nobody showed up to work. Twice I contacted customer service at the Ralph's website, and the live person on the chat line gave me the usual "we take customer satisfaction very seriously" and "we are sorry for your frustration" and said they would contact their store manager, but both times they apparantly never did, because I never heard back and their issues weren't corrected. Figure, if issues that customers express are not improved in some way, that shows that the store only cares about customers so much. Despite their radio ads, they do not have "low prices". Their items are more expensive than other local stores, and their produce is not particularly high quality either. Another disconcerting observation, their price for individual Krispy Kreme donuts is 2.59 each. That high price for lousy donuts that are 95% air. The only grocery store in Moorpark with worse customer service is Vons (that's a separate issue for a different review). Albertson's was fairly good, but the Moorpark location, unfortunately, was closed years ago. Smart and Final is probably the best option in Moorpark, as they do have low prices, and their staff is friendly and helpful, although the selection would not be as great. Target also has some grocery, and have fairly solid customer service.

Ralph's MOST expensive? I might have been wrong.I went to Moorpark Produce today and was astounded…read morethat a pineapple was about $6-1/2 and BANANAS were a DOLLAR A POUND! When I was in Ralph's this week, I didn't buy some of my favorites because of the gouge prices. I think the bananas were 80¢ / lb and I balked at the $4 pineapple. But when I went into Moorpark Produce I couldn't believe the SUPER GOUGE prices. I needed some milk, and DID NOT SEE a price tag. Like a percentage of us, I did not look at the price before I casually (habitually) used my phone to pay electronically. When I got home, I noticed that a half gallon was FIVE CLAMS. Thats about 2.8 times Ralph's price for the half gallon. I could have bought Ralph's FULL GALLON for only $4. I felt like such an idiot for not checking the price. I would have left the milk right at the check stand. Not worth the effort to go return the unopened container. But I DID call them and let them know why I'm not going back there. Price gouging may bring some more profits, but I feel in the long run creates a loss of customers and wasted food, from what doesn't sell. The store should be embarrassed. GUESS WHERE I'M NOT SHOPPING!

I decided to stop by and take a peek to see what they had at this location. The store is very clean…read moreand organized. I visited at a busy time of 5:00pm on a Monday night. I was happy to see they had 2 pints of my favorite ice cream brand left. (My local GO hasn't had it for a few weeks.) I was also happy to find the last bag of ~8oz bag of York Peppermint Patties on the shelf selling for $2.99. Sure they expire this month but I just saw the same bag at Walmart for $5.99. I've been known to live dangerously when it comes to chocolate and I will consume chocolate that has been sitting in my pantry for a year so it expiring the same month as purchased doesn't frighten me. The cashier was really nice and I admire her that she is fluent in Spanish and we spoke briefly about how great her Spanish is. (I'm learning Spanish.) I definitely recommend this location. I just wish I had more chances to check it out but I live in Oxnard and even though I am in Simi Valley once a week for work, I don't have the time to pop in.

Got some great prices on blueberries, plant based breakfast patties, cauliflower and plant based…read moremilk. Blueberries were $4 for 18oz which beats out Smart&Final's discounts for this week. Cauliflower was $2 for a head. Jumbo sausage patties were $3 for 60g of protein. Silk oat and pea blend milk was $1.47 because the best by date is today. I wish they'd marked it down to a $1 but $1.47 is already $0.50 cheaper than their normal price so I guess that's decent enough. I'm not sure if the pound of tamale corn husks for $10 was a good price but I looked up the price at smart&final and supposedly, it's cheaper at grocery outlet. It really shocked me to see the receipt say 25$ at checkout though. Hopefully, my tamales turn out well because the corn husks were way more expensive than they should've been. I was looking for coconut oil and there was plenty of staff around Wednesday morning, working on restocking the store, so it was easy to flag one down and ask for help. She guided me to aisle 1 which I mentioned I'd already looked through and she went to check the back for me. A minute later, she came out and apologized that they didn't have any in stock. I appreciate her doing a thorough search for this item for me instead of just waving me in the direction she thought it'd be. I would've been sent on a goose chase for a product that they don't even have had she done that. I wonder what discounts they offer to people who have a phone number with them. The cashier never asked if I have one with them. Maybe I shall look into that so I can see if I can collect points since I enjoy shopping here.

My favorite one is Woodland hills and I go there when I can, but unfortunately, the thousand Oaks location leaves a lot to be desired. The juice bar team never pays attention when customers are standing at the counter or walk up. I always have to get their attention. And often they don't make the juices or smoothies correctly. And my biggest gripe is this location never has fish on hot bar. They have all the meat and chicken but for pescatarians or vegans, they have very limited options. Why does this location not order fish for hot bar? It's the only Whole Foods in the area I've seen without fish. They've maybe had it 4 or 5 times in the past two years. And sometimes they're out of tofu so I have no protein options. I'd like to know from corporate why they refused to order fish.

He got plain skewers and got the sauce from the refrigerator and made them right there on the spot. Talk about outstanding customer service. This was just fantastic and I thanked him several times because I knew he didn't have to do it. This was about 1130 today Friday unfortunately I didn't catch his name but wanted to pass on this.
