I was in So CA for a few days last week and visited the location in Placentia, CA. I usually go to the one in Peoria, AZ so I thought I'd stay consistent with the chain. No dissapointment here. It is alot smaller store than the one near me and the selection isn't as deep but the young man working there was very friendly and helpful and the relaxed environment was great. The owner knew a lot about cigars and wasn't condescending like a lot of owners can be. He was helpful and I had a great smoke and wonderful experience. That they have a great air filter system and then I end up having to strip in the garage because everything smells like a dirty ashtray. I am a very advant cigar aficionado for 25 yrs. I grew up in the city of Placentia on the very same street of this cigar lounge on Santa Fe. I was hoping for a wonderful, feel at home experience in a cigar lounge in the same city I once lived in. I was definitely wrong. When I came in I was never greeted or shown any cigars, I wasn't given a tour of this new place or even told about what it takes to get a membership. The woman that finally helped me had very poor customer service, although she was kind enough to give me an ash tray for my cigar about 5 minutes after I sat down. The only positive thing I can say about this place was it is very nice inside. But I will most definitely NOT recommend anyone based only on the lack of customer service. read more
