Love a roof top experience. Great for date night and group date. Nice view of Disney fireworks. Service is great . Shareable delicious menu and has great selection of cocktail drinks . They also have entertainment . Rise only validates for 2 hours parking so be prepared to pay extra. But, overall it was worth it.

Located inside the Westin hotel. This place has a happy hour that runs from Mon-Thu 5:30 to 7:00 PM. It's outdoors-only, so definitely bring a jacket along since the patio can get chilly once the sun goes down. They have TVs set up right at the outdoor bar if you want to catch a game, and the patio offers a great, clear view looking out toward the Disneyland fireworks.

We were visiting OC and decided to stop at this place for a quick bite. Gorgeous space, amazing view of Disney land and wonderful service! The food was also so yummy, their bread and butter was the best. Pizza was also really good. Their drinks were so tasty and well made. Highly recommended.

Good customer service from Jasmine, our waitress. She had a lot of great recommendations on drink and food, excellent seating for our party of 5. We were close to fireworks and enjoyed the show. I would return.

What a wonderful experience. Service was fantastic and the food was delicious. You cannot beat the firework view. We booked 45 mins before fireworks started which was perfect. Loved the restaurant and the Westin.

My mom and I came here again 7/3/26. We had reservations and were seated right away. The houses who brought us to our table was so kind and offered us blankets because it's cold. Sammie the busier was a lifesaver. He put our much needed heat lamp on right away. I ordered a strawberry virgin martini, but it came in a tall glass and was not good at all. Then our server disappeared so we had to give the manager my hot tea order. It's beautiful up there. However our server was a let down. He didn't come close to the amazing service from McKenzie who is still amazing in our eyes.

Went here with my girlfriend and, once again, had another lovely experience! We came here for our anniversary, and both Rose and Mckenzie were amazing. They were super attentive, kind, and patient with us. They even offered to exchange our drinks if we didn't like them, which we really appreciated. The food was amazin the poke nachos were THE BOMB! The drinks were really good too. They also set us up with great seats with an amazing view, so we were able to watch the fireworks during our anniversary dinner. Overall, we had such a great experience. Huge thank you to Rose and Mckenzie for making our anniversary dinner even more special!

The view at this rooftop is beautiful! Nice view of DCA and you can see Disney fireworks perfectly from here too. Their menu is not extensive but all the food items we tried were delicious. The drinks were amazing, had a few mango margaritas, perfect level of sweetness. Our server was super friendly and attentive! Definitely must check out this place for a date night or girls night!

I absolutely love Rise rooftop. It can be difficult to find a cute place in OC where you can drink and simply lounge with friends, but ever since I found Rise it has been my favorite go-to. So many memories have been made here. The happy hour specials are great, and their menu changes at least a little bit everytime I go, so I'm always trying new stuff. Service is consistently top tier as well! Parking is validated for 2 hours by the host :P No notes!

We came in for a late lunch on a Saturday and it was not crowded. There are great views of the Disney parks from this rooftop. The background music sets a nice mood. It was kind of a windy day so we had to hold on to the menus and napkins because they were blowing around. I ordered a cocktail off the menu and it was refreshing and delicious. I also had the nachos, which were large and filling. The breakfast/brunch menu had great options and the bacon on the waffle was a highlight. A credit at the hotel doesn't work at Puesto which is why we came here to the rooftop for lunch.

This is a very cool restaurant on the roof of the Hyatt next to Disneyland. The view is amazing and it's a great place for drinks and to chat with friends. The food, on the other hand, is just ok. And the parking sucks -- it's $25 per hour! And they validate for only 2 hours. For whatever reason, the menu is pretty much appetizers only. The are 4 pizzas, I guess, if you consider that real food. But a number of us wanted to have a real meal. No can do. The pizza was good, but nothing amazing. Truffle French fries also good. The potatoes were quite good. The pork was just ok. Why can't they just offer a burger or a couple of pasta dishes? It's that so hard?

Beautiful rooftop restaurant at The Westin Hotel. Cocktails and food were delicious and service outstanding. Great view of Disneyland across the street. recommend!

Finally tried this rooftop spot and wow -- everything hit. The view alone sets the vibe, but the service made it feel next-level. Staff was super attentive without hovering, always checking in at the perfect time. The food was honestly impressive -- fresh, flavorful, and plated beautifully. Every dish tasted like it was made with intention, not just thrown together for looks. And the drinks... perfectly balanced and actually strong (not watered down like most places with a view ). Between the music, lighting, breeze, and city scenery, the atmosphere made it easy to lose track of time. Definitely one of those places you go for dinner and end up staying all night. 10/10 -- great for date night, birthdays, or just treating yourself.

Do you guys close if it rains?

Hi Anna, Thank you for reaching out. Please note that we may need to close due to inclement…

Does Rise have an age limit/hours for certain ages? I have a future reservation at 8:30pm and 2 of my guests are only 20 years old. Would they be able to get in?

no one under 21 after 10! 8:30 is fine

    Is this kids friendly?

When I went there was kids. Don't know how it is later at night. Like after 8pm. I was there between 6-7ish.

For How long is my parking validated while dining at rise rooftop?

First 2 hours free, $12 per hour after

So i just made a reservation for june 3rd and i chose the standard option, i want to make sure that means we still get seated on the rooftop?

Rise is only has rooftop seating. So you're good.

To the host/hostess...Going there for a graduation pre-dinner..wondering if they play music when it's a private party... just curious?

Thank you for contacting us and we look forward to your graduation pre-dinner. The live music is scheduled Thursday - Saturday nights starting at 7pm, and will play as long as there isn't a full buy out. Thank you,

    Is there free parking?

Yes! Park in the hotel structure and have them validate for you :)

Hi Mario, Does the private outside section have a view?

Hi Yvette, Our rooftop lounge is all outdoor and hosts views directly into Disney California Adventure® Park.

What kind of music do they play here?

Hi Andrea, Thank you for reaching out. We typically will have a solo musician playing Wednesday and Thursday and a DJ playing Friday and Saturday.

On a Wednesday is there live music?

Hi Margarita, yes we have live music Wednesday through Saturday. Be sure to check out our Instagram @riserooftoplounge for weekly updates on who is performing. We look forward to welcoming you in!

How cold does it get in the winter? Are there ample heat lamps?

They do have plenty of heat lamps, I would still take a sweater or light jacket (it can get pretty windy) beautiful views and great staff.

How is parking on a Saturday night?

There is usually plenty of parking in the Westin parking lot. There is also the option of Valet parking but self parking was plentiful and easy

There's a group of about 20 of us that are looking for a nice bar to gather. Do we need reservations on a weekday night? We don't need to all sit as we'll mostly want to chat and move about. Are some nights better to come than others for large groups

Hi Trina, We would be happy to welcome your group, all parties require a seated reservation. Specifically, large groups require a booking through our sales coordinator. Please…

Do you need a reservation for the bar?

Hi Veronika, The bar top seating does not need a reservation and is on a first come first serve basis.

I was wondering how parking worked? Is there parking available near if so how much and do you validate?

Hi Kianne, We do provide 2 hours validation for self-parking at the hotel.

What day do they have the fireworks so we can dine in as well for our anniversary date?

Hi Ruk, During holiday months, the fireworks are nightly, however the best place to check for the fireworks' schedule is the theme park's website.

Hello, if we have reservations at 9:15pm for dinner and one person is under 21 years old, do we have to leave?

Hi there, We are 21+ after 10PM.

Does all your party need to be with you at the time of reservation or can they come a little after and meet us there?

Hi Mayra, The entire party is not required to be there at the time of the reservation. They are more than welcome to join you later on.

Are we able to reserve a table to watch the fireworks only?

Hi Samantha, All reservations are for dining guests only.

    Are children allowed?

    Yes they are

I think this is on everyone's speakeasy list!…read more Make sure you make a reservation It is very packed. They offer bar seating and booth / table Follow the wall from Randy's donuts and Look for a wall of Japanese sake/beer barrels and head towards the restaurant - the rolling boil. There will be a check in host and stand there and wait (it will be located up against the wall with a big secret door right next to the hostess station) It's very New York inside. When I first came in Spring with the amazing, Karen, the menu and everything was great Now, I took my friend who was in town from Nashville and it was a brand new theme. It's the great Gatsby. Even our waitress, Jasmine was dressed for the occasion. I would say this place is known for Absinthe. They have cocktails featuring it or you can get one of the huge apparatus (huge and glowing green) which, if you are into it? I highly recommend. Just one of the huge apparatus makes one regular drink. Or, what Karen and I did, was split it and make it into a shot for the both of us. The waitress comes out and shows you how it works and goes over everything. Karen, who I came with, was a pro and knew her way around it. She showed me the ropes lol. Honestly, if you are here? When in Rome. Go all out and try it, since it's where they shine here. They took off a few menu items and added some themed drinks. ( a couple new champagne themed drinks) They have big entree items but I suggest small bites and sharing and mostly coming for the drinks. There's no bathroom inside, so you do have to leave the bar and go to the closest one (over behind Randy's donuts) and then enter the speakeasy again Both times coming here I've never had an issue. It's a small, packed place. And yet they still have the cocktails flowing and the food coming out in a good time. So the food and drinks are good Atmosphere is lovely. Service is good. Especially for it usually being very busy in here This place is located inside the Anaheim packing district. So I suggest hitting up a couple other spots before or afterwards for some more food or drinks P.S. it is very dark In here. They never cared if we used our light to look at the menu. However, they do not want flash photography They also do not strictly enforce a dress code (my friend from Nashville asked) however, they suggest dressing business casual and not too underdressed

I really liked the clarified strawberry drink, similar to strawberry and cream. I ordered a drink after that unfortunately forgot the name (photo attached with a tall glass) but there was no special cocktail craft taste to it. Just hard liquor taste and undrinkable :( the bartender kindly offered another drink. Unfortunately none of the food was the least bit good. Steak and fries was ordered medium rare and cooked to medium well with what seemed like no seasoning was on there at all. Crab cake was just ok and the slaw beneath it was drenched in a vinaigrette that was just sour and unpleasant. And the Mac and cheese, as we were very hopeful and looking forward to, was probably the blandest Mac and cheese we ever had. We asked the lady bartender for salt and she handed us, no exaggeration (and you guys will probably think I am) a salt shaker with 10 grains of salt in it and said "looks like there's a lil something you could still get out of there" My jaw dropped. But yeah. The shredded meat on top of the Mac and cheese was cooked beyond the point of edible. That one was unfortunately sent back bc we just couldn't eat it. We were bummed over all mostly about the food.

We have returned to Strong Water several times in recent months, so it's time for an update. We…read morefirst returned in early June since they introduced some new cocktails and food to the menu. The other visits were just because this is by far our number one place. Recently added cocktails: Buzzin' Jungle Bird (Jamaican gold rum, coffee infused campari, dark rum, pineapple, lime, hemp orgeat, cane, Angostura bitters). This is a great spin on a jungle bird, with some complexity and coffee flavor. I'm usually not a big fan of coffee, but it is at a good level. Chi Chi (Whey vodka, pineapple, lime, date, honey, coconut, salt). This has a great creamy texture which I believe comes from the dairy component of the whey vodka. It is well balanced with some sweetness, and I could taste the coconut and date flavors. Lapu Lapu (Asian rum, Jamaican rum, dry curacao, lime, orgeat, demerara). It is juicy, well balanced, and served with a flaming sugar cube on top. This is the cocktail they chose to serve at their booth at Tiki Oasis recently which says a lot, try it! Thai Me Down (Barbados rum, coconut liqueur, papaya, lemon, demerara, Thai basil). It is served old-fashioned style, and was light and perfectly balanced. Those Thai inspired flavors were all noticeable. Demerara Dry Float. They added and took this one off the menu as of now. It was a balanced light citrusy drink which was served with a delicious sidecar of Hamilton 151 rum infused with banana chips. I sipped half of that and mixed the rest into the cocktail. It was served with a beautiful ice shell. I'm guessing it was too labor intensive, and took up a lot of space in their freezers. Recently added food: Ahi Poke Nachos (marinated ahi tuna, masago, avocado, cucumber, spicy mayo, furikake, green onion). This is such a tasty starter with so many textures and flavors. I love that the nachos are wontons too, and not just chips. Crab & Cream cheese wontons. Nice crisp wontons with a good amount of crab and cream cheese inside. The chili sauce and spicy mayo adds another layer of flavor, and there is a slice of jalapeno on top for a little heat. Pan-Seared Scallops. This was an excellent lighter entrée. The four scallops are cooked perfectly, and even have a little dollop of caviar on top. I liked the mix of veggies and really liked the bed of potato puree underneath. Steak & Eggs (8oz hanger steak, crying tiger glaze, Nam Jim Jaew sauce, sunny eggs, rice). I normally wouldn't try steak & eggs for dinner, but I can't resist a good hanger steak. It was cooked a perfect medium rare and I appreciate that it was pre-sliced. The crying tiger glaze and sauce were so flavorful. There's plenty of rice to soak up any left egg yolk or sauce. Recently added desserts: Dubai Chocolate Lava Cake. This was excellent, but it's definitely sweet and rich. Save some room if you plan on ordering this. Ube Flan Cake. I'm usually not a fan of flan, but I have to try anything with ube and this was good. The cake had nice ube flavor, and I liked that the flan was a little firm since the looser custardy/gelatinous texture is not for me. This is definitely a lighter dessert than the lava cake. It's not a new drink, but I also had the Naval Grog for the first time. (Lost Voyage rum, overproof white rum, allspice dram, lime, grapefruit, demerara, honey). It is boozy with nice spice notes. Other repeat cocktails enjoyed were Tales from the Black Lagoon (my favorite), Missionary's Downfall, Agave Parrot, Singapore Sling, and Serpents Grasp all of which are excellent. Their cocktails, food, ambiance, and service are always top notch. Thank you Ying, Erica, Greg, Jordan, Joey, Iris, Karen, Kyle, Joy, and John for your wonderful hospitality during our visits. We will return again soon!

I haven't visited during regular hours yet…read more The inside of Trader Sam's was closed for a few months for renovations earlier this year. They have mixology seminars periodically, and I snagged spots for a friend and me a few days after they reopened. The cost is ~$180 per person and it is held inside the main bar area. They will also validate your parking. Arrive at least fifteen minutes before the start time at the check-in sign near the entrance. When it's time to enter, grab any available seat at the bar or any of the tables. Everything for making the drinks is set up ahead of time. You mix and garnish a cocktail and a mocktail. Kelly Merrell who is well known in tiki/cocktail circles guided the seminar. For an introductory mixology seminar, the format was great with a lot of basic cocktail education and interaction with the attendees. I've been making cocktails at home for a while and even picked up some helpful tips. The "Barrel of Mischief" cocktail we made had six different spirits, which was perfect for describing the different characteristics and some background on each. After mixing up the cocktail, you garnish it however you like from various options provided. The cocktail was very good. Even with all those different spirits, it was very balanced and not boozy and had some complexity. We also made a basic mocktail with lemon, simple syrup, and elderberry tonic. It was even garnished with a cute Mickey Mouse cucumber slice. Apparently, bars have been paying a lot more attention to mocktails lately, which is great for people who don't drink but still want to get the same experience. Once the seminar inside has completed, there is a reception for attendees across from the entrance in the Tangaroa Terrace outdoor patio area. The area was reserved and has tables, a large fireplace, and live music. We were served ahi tuna bites, Hawaiian fried rice, and a Taiyaki waffle fish filled with ice cream. We were also served a Miehana cocktail. Kelly and other Trader Sam's staff mingled with guests. Each attendee also received a Trader Sam's 15th anniversary mug a few weeks before its general release. I had a great time, learned a few tips, and I finally got to see the inside of Trader Sam's. Since reopening, they are now walk-in/waitlist only and no reservations, and they said it's actually easier to get in now. I'm looking forward to returning during regular hours for food and cocktails.

Their cocktails are usually on point and NOT watered down. We typically look in the app for walk in openings or just ask if there are spots at the bar. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. They are a more upscale vibe with different seating styles. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The restroom is upstairs by the full restaurant and thehave an elevator next to the stairs if needed. For this last visit, drinks were great as usually and the food delicious. Their pork belly bao is always very tender and tasty. This is the first time we have the hummus pita thing and it was delicious! It was very refreshing and all the flavours worked well. Last but not least, the meatballs were good but not my favourite based on the very strong unique flavors to it. Overall we will be back. It's a nice rest stop at DCA

I tried the shrimp ceviche and was extremely letdown. The shrimp had not been marinated and lime long enough for it to actually been cooked through the sauce and pickled onion was delicious, but there was hardly any of it, and there was more of the black tortilla chip than shrimp. It was still tasty. I'm not gonna lie and obviously the drinks are always five stars, but the taste really lied in the avocado sauce with pickled onion not really the shrimp. As always, the people were there were extremely friendly in the ambience inviting.

You have to book on the app, and it wasn't a long line to wait after your time is ready. They do cram like four different parties in one booth. I ordered both the blue milk, non alcoholic drink and the pink milk drink as well; I preferred the blue ones since it came with a cookie. They both were fine. Everyone seemed to get the bread which was tasty like a pretzel and the cheese sauce was very spicy. I enjoyed the music and I appreciate that the service was good. It's Disney theming done so well with Star Wars vibes and fun, tasty, very expensive drinks. If you have a Magic Key Disneyland season pass though, you will get a 10% discount so be sure to alert the staff to this. I've tried a bunch of mocktails & cocktails here and they're all exciting and fun. I've also tried some snacks, that I would say the same about. None of either was mind blowingly amazing but they're good and pretty. I actually prefer going for their beers - all special and cool craft brew options. However, they used to have a really cool beer flight with an even cooler souvenir! They don't seem to have that anymore and I wonder if it just wasn't popular with the high $86 price tag for the small tasters of the beer. It was sooo cute though! Most of the beers themselves are low potency, but the $14.75 6.5% Jogan Blossom Hazy IPA is a nice ube flavored brew. The other 3 beers on tap are under 5% and $18.25. Drinks at Disney be pricccccey! 45 minute time limit and 2 drink maximum! Overall, love Oga's Cantina and even if you don't drink, it's a great experience to feel like you are IN one of the cantinas in the Star Wars movies.
