The choices here are amazing. All the baked goods here are just amazing. And everytime I come here I have a very hard time choosing what I am going to buy. Most baked treats are in the $6-7 range and that goes for its beverages as well. This place has a cozy ambiance with a few tables and chairs. Service is friendly and if you can't decide what to have the person at the counter can certainly make recommendations. Worth a visit if you are in Kit's.

The staff was friendly and could describe what was in a specific cruffin. The cruffin was well made and was filled with chocolate. Sadly even during the hot summer, it was too hot inside without any AC or fans.

Delightful setting. Loved the music. Clean. Modern. Coffee and sandwich were great. We will come again. Just off Davie on Bute.

Public pay parking lot right across the street. Smoked salmon Benedict was really flavorful and delicious, and the potato hash also had really crispy and well seasoned potatoes. Service was nice, the food came out a bit slow despite them having a sign that seating time would be limited to allow other customers to get a table. Wouldn't go here if you're short on time but it was a nice spot for us before going to Stanley park.

Happy to discover that this place was nice and quiet inside so would definitely consider coming back here again. Food was awesome. I absolutely loved my Shakshuka. Might be the best Shakshuka I've ever had. Not that I'm any authority figure on what a Shakshuka should taste like. But I really enjoyed this one. The combination of flavors, the runny egg yolks, the gooeyness of the cheese...it was just such a wonderfully comforting and belly warming meal. I saw a Cinnamon Honey Latte on the board and decided to order that for my drink. These days, I can never tell when the word "Latte" is being used to describe a coffee beverage or whether it's being used to describe a beverage that has milk in it. A Matcha latte for example, tends to just be a sweetedned Matcha beverage with milk in it. No coffee thrown in. I was kinda hoping this Cinnamon Honey Latte would be milk with cinnamon and honey thrown in. It turned out to be a coffee beverage. No complaints about it. It's on me for assuming that it was milk with cinnamon and honey thrown in. I should have probably asked our server about the beverage before simply ordering it. Will make sure to do that if/when we end up here again. Kinda had my eye on the Turkish Apple Tea though so might just order that next time and the whole "Latte" dilemma wouldn't be an issue with that. My daughter's Avocado Toast looked super yummy as well. Might try ordering that next time, although Michelangelo's Mediterranean Spread was also kinda calling out to me!

With its big open windows…read morereceiving plenty of natural light, soft light fixtures, and simple yet modern table and seating set up, it is a perfect spot for a date - getting to know somebody over coffee, espresso, and matcha, a dessert spot - with its various pastries, parfaits, and sweet offerings; or breakfast and lunch spot with its versatile menu of sandos, curries, teishoku, noodles, and bentos. Stumbled across this place while looking for a simple yet delicious Japanese meal to end my latest Vancouver trip. 93 coffee showed up, which was perfect as it was only a stroll and a half from the downtown waterfront area. The location is thicker away, quiet, and upon first entry, it was obviously that somebody meticulously thought of the concept and took great care in procuring the furniture, fixtures, and set up. The staff was friendly but in a non-rushing feeling-like-a-business type of way. So all the good qualities of your neighborhood cafe with the charm of a Japanese cafe. I ordered a hamburg steak teishoku and my boyfriend ordered the Hamburg steak curry. We were impressed by how the patty was flavorful, meaty, but neither greasy or heavy - signature of how it is in Japan. The curry was flavorful without being overly rich. The side pairings for the teishoku was perfect - a mini salad, side of pickled vegetables, rice, and miso soup. Very well balanced. Overall, super satisfied of this latest find. We need to come back to try some of the dessert offerings.

Its on the south side of the mall and there is no signage on Denman where all the foot traffic is. The space is quite big, comfortable chairs, and clean. Run by some Japanese people. The menu reminds me of those Japanese "Western" chain restaurants all over Japan, and they serve some comfort food dishes like omurice and Japanese curry. Sizeable menu of Matcha and Houjicha drinks, as well as some desserts. All the staff were friendly and at least during lunch hour, the place is relatively quiet. Service was a bit slow though, and they didnt bring our 2 dishes out at the same time. Food we tried: omurice+hamburg steak add-on - the omurice was quite nice. Comes wrapped in a thin omelette the old school way. They serve it with ketchup. Not much chicken in the chicken rice. Flavour was nice though. The side of hamburg steak was quite soft but flavourful. Did not taste like just beef - I suspect it was a mix of beef and pork. Also had a small side of salad. Overall pretty solid. 4/5. beef curry rice bowl - pretty good, the curry sauce was generous and not too salty. Served with the usual side of pickles. 4/5. Houjicha iced latte. Exactly as it sounds, and pretty good too. Very solid 4/5 overall. Weird location and I suspect they would be much busier with more visibility. There arent many places in town that serve this kind of food so there is opportunity for them to do well. Their food is pretty good, and a good approximation for the stuff you'd get in Japan at those western style chains that are so popular there. IYKYK. Pricing is high-ish but for this area it is not crazy. The beverages are $6-8 and the food runs about $20. I would come back if I had a craving for this type of food.

There was only one family ahead of me when I entered, who was asking questions about bean recommendations. The person at the order counter was really helpful providing them with good information. When it was my turn to order, it was quick since I had already selected beans that I wanted to purchase, and my oat latte. Option was asked if I wanted to dine in or takeout, and I went with the latter. After I got my drink, I took a seat on one of the benches they have outside the store. There's also a decent amount of indoor seating and an outdoor patio section in front of the store. Not my first time trying Nemesis since I've been to Vancouver before, but definitely a reminder of why they are listed as one of the World's 100 Best Coffee Shops. If I wasn't so full from brunch, I would have also gotten one of their pastries. Seeing them all was very tempting.
