Stopped in here on our last day in Vancouver and it was a beautiful cafe. The service was amazing and everyone was kind and attentive. The place was clean and it grew busy within minutes during early afternoon on a Sunday. Coffee was delicious and the sandwich was alright. It's not terrible but I probably wouldn't order again. Either way, It was a great last experience of Vancouver for me and my gal friend!

Grabbed a quick breakfast from here on my last day in Vancouver. It's a small coffee shop right in the middle of the bustling business buildings but it's not too hard to find. There isn't a whole lot of seating inside but it seems like most people were taking their orders to go. I ordered the iced tiramisu latte. Definitely on the sweet side and too sweet for me. If you're not into very sweet drinks, I'd recommend ordering something else or asking to adjust the sweetness. I also ordered an italian sausage sandwich. This was pretty good! It's not huge so you won't get super full but its enough to keep you satisfied until lunch! Luckily, I got there before the line got too long but everything moves really quickly. I only waited about 10 min before I got my order so you can plan to be in and out fast!

Tiny spot, great choices. I was so excited I forgot to take any other pictures than this one of the fresh croissants baking... they smell heavenly. Real mugs, big, of coffee

A delightful little spot with excellent pastries and a fun selection of drinks. Immediately drawn to the light, plant-filled atmosphere of this place. We grabbed a spinach and feta strudel and chocolate croissant. Both were utterly buttery. We got a latte and an guava matcha. The guava matcha was so aesthetic, with the layer of matcha sitting on top of the guava syrup, which added just the right amount of sugar and tang. Would definitely try this place again :)

A cute and cozy café with lots of specialty drinks available. I loved their iced guava matcha - it was a combination of sweet and tangy.

Excellent pastries and lattes. I tried the cranberry London fog scone and a pistachio strawberry croissant. Both were unique and delicious. The honey lavender latte was perfect! Not too hot not too sweet, perfectly creamy. Also had the holiday - marshmallow latte with oat milk. It was also made well and with the right amount of melted marshmallow goodness on top. Friendly service, clean bright and warm. A few seats inside and a few outside.

One of my favourite coffee shops downtown! It's such a cute and cozy little place. The most notable thing here is the unique drinks, but all the food is really good as well. The tuna and veggie paninis are quality (the veg panini can be made vegan by replacing cheese and mayo with hummus, both versions are good). The paninis come with a little side salad of mixed greens - nothing special, but it rounds out the meal. I haven't tried much from the baked good selection but they have this top-tier strawberry pistachio croissant with a baked crunchy pistachio top layer and pistachio cream and strawberry filling that has to be one of best-conceived baked goods I've had the privilege of enjoying, and I'm not even much of a croissant person. For drinks, they have the usual selection of coffee/tea and also specialty lattes like Okinawa tea latte, ube latte, strawberry matcha, hojicha, black sesame cream latte... some of these are seasonal, some are fixtures. The flavours are wonderful and as a bonus they're pretty too. I appreciate the staff always checking to see if I want my drink sweetened and listening to my customization requests! Finally the baristas are always smiling and are so nice! As mentioned above, they pay attention to the details when taking my order. They bring your food and drinks to your table when dining in. It's rare to find such consistently pleasant service.

Cute little Cafe. Staff are friendly, good atmosphere, cute decor and comfortable seating area. Great place to do some work and meet friends. I had the Okinawa Latte. It was so good. I recommend it. I would definitely like to come back to try other menu items.

Great place for a quick breakfast. Got BLT and was surprised it also had an egg in it, nice touch and extra hearty healthy protein. The staff are really nice there. The place felt calm and seemed very clean.

One of the best coffee shops! I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I have to say their latter oat milk is one of the best coffees I've had. Nice vibes inside as well

Such a cute cafe! It's filled with plants and wonderful natural light! I had the dirty ube, which was not too sweet and had a perfect balance of coffee and ube flavors

I come here for over a year now, but somehow still getting disappointed lately. When asked for a decaf I get a regular. Now you probably going to tell me how do I know the difference, easy high blood pressure when I get regular coffee. All I am asking is for your staff to be careful. Customer ask decaf for a reason ( could be medical or can't handle caffeine)

This plant wall could've been so beautiful if it was well maintained

Jam Cafe, Vancouver Jam Cafe is my favorite brunch spot. Anywhere. That sounds like an exaggeration. It isn't. I've been traveling to Vancouver for work for almost a decade, and every single trip includes a stop at Jam. If I'm lucky, two. I've also become that coworker who convinces everyone to meet outside at 7:45 in the morning so we can be part of the first seating at 8:00. Thankfully, we're all from the East Coast and have been awake since 5:00 anyway. Over the years I've successfully JAMfluenced more business travelers than I'd like to admit. And yes, it's still worth the wait even if you're not first in line. The restaurant itself is tiny. Cozy farmhouse vibes, mismatched decorations covering the walls, and maybe 15 tables between the dining room and patio. It feels more like someone's favorite neighborhood breakfast spot than one of Vancouver's brunch institutions. The menu is comfort food turned up to eleven. Everything is indulgent, creative, and somehow still balanced. You can tell the kitchen starts with great ingredients because every component tastes like it could stand on its own. I try to branch out every visit... and then usually end up ordering the Tater Tot Bowl anyway. Crispy tater tots, buffalo sauce, Mexican street corn relish, and ridiculously good pulled pork. It's the kind of dish that sounds like it shouldn't work, but every bite somehow gets better than the last. And then there are the cinnamon roll pancakes. They are enormous. They're also one of the best brunch dishes I've ever eaten. Birdfluencer Lorraine M. declared them the best pancakes she's ever had, and after several visits, I don't have much of an argument. Service is exactly what it needs to be. Friendly, efficient, and quick. The staff knows there's a line forming outside before the doors even open, but you never feel rushed. Overall, Jam Cafe has officially become part of my Vancouver tradition. At this point, a work trip to the city doesn't really start until I've had breakfast here. If you're visiting Vancouver and only have time for one brunch, this would be my pick without a second thought.

I chose to sit outside on the patio instead of inside at the bar to take in that Canadian Vitamin D! It was sunny and hot, but the patio had a great view and was perfect for people-watching. My server, Dursh (or something close to that), was really cool. He asked my name, made me feel welcomed, and gave solid recommendations. He even picked my drink for me, which I ended up enjoying. He suggested a Benedict dish, but I'm not a fan of runny eggs. I had already decided on the El Camino poutine and plot twist....it also came with two runny poached eggs. Even so, it was still delicious, mainly because the yolk texture wasn't an issue with the crema on the dish. That poutine was an easy 9/10. It came loaded with cheese curds, pork carnitas that weren't dry at all, bacon, pinto beans, roasted pineapple for a little sweetness, salsa, jalapeños, pickled onions, salsa verde, cilantro crema, and spinach. The herb potatoes were seasoned so well too. All in all, a great last meal in Vancouver from the food to the service (even beyond Dursh, everyone was helpful) to the patio vibe. Great spot.

But first, the food - I ordered scrambled eggs, chicken apple sausage and paid an extra $1 for truffled lemon potatoes. The verdict? 4 out of 5. While he loved the tomato soup he chose on the side, he was less enamoured by the benny itself. I had a taste and was underwhelmed by a forkful of overripe avocado and slightly fishy-tasting salmon. We were having gorgeous weather in Vancouver so we decided to eat on the covered patio. The place is pretty cozy, but was only moderately busy when we went. They have a pretty good menu with lots a Benedict's and a build your own breakfast option that seemed pretty nice. I took the recommendation from our server and got the bacon benny. It did not disappoint. I think I have recently discovered that I love poached eggs and these were perfect. The yolk was nice and runny and the white was firm but not hard. I like to cut in to my egg and have it run down and get messy on the plate. The hollandaise was excellent. So many breakfast places will serve it broken, but not here. It had the perfect amount of lemon, butter ratio for my taste and I really enjoyed it. The bacon was good, not to salty, and the english muffin was, well, an English muffin from a package that they toasted and out on the plate. I did splurge and paid the extra dollar for the truffle potatoes and they were very good. I love truffle oil on potatoes so I am a sucker for it whenever its on a menu. You just cant mess it up. Fried potatoes, truffle oil, and a lemon squeeze to bring it all together. My wife got the brunch burger and she loved it. It was a messy breakfast burger that a lot of places have but this one was done right. A poached oozy egg, on a burger patty with american cheese, the best burger cheese in my opinion, bacon, hollandaise and arugula on a brioche bun! It came with tater tots and they were nice and crispy just like she likes them. Well, why didn't I give it five stars you may be asking? Great question. Here it is, each plate came with a side that was just awful. Mine had some "fresh" fruit that nearly made me laugh. It consisted of the saddest, limpest piece of watermelon I have ever seen this side of a trash can. I also had an old crusty orange wedge and a single grape. My wife got a slimy side salad that I think was holding on for dear life. Both, we deemed inedible and moved on immediately. I think there is a rule, or at least there should be one, in restaurants that if you wouldn't eat it then don't serve it. There might be another one that says if you eat rotten food maybe get a different job and see rule one. Overall, we liked the place and would go back. We would just avoid the salads and fresh fruit and stick to the food they cook.
