A Mocha in the backdrop of coffee

This is a good spot for coffee and icecream if you are inside the park. The staff is friendly and nice. There is indoor and outdoor seating which is spacious. They have choice of burgers/sandwiches. We ordered fries which were pretty good. The Mocha drink was made well.

(Written by my 13 year old) What's chilling dogs, on today's big back food hunt, we went to Prospect Point. This was a great mid day grub grab with sandwiches lacking structural integrity. The food we got was cookin and the ice cream was bussin bussin. There was literally no wait, and the vibe was for sure vibing. I would recommend this to biggies of all kinds. No cap. PERIOD. **ice cream not pictured because it ate, so we ATE.

    Sunset from Prospect Point

Gorgeous sunset views here, if you happen to make your way to the northern part of Stanley Park. My husband and I came here during the sunset hours of 8pm last Saturday evening, and it was a treat to see the sun set before our eyes. The lighting and views were amazing, and it was cool to see the bridge in the distance too. There is a cafe nearby for you to pick up some food if you'd like but they close early so keep that in mind. I think they close by 8 pm actually because we tried to visit but they were already closing. We saw so many people taking pictures, it started to get crowded. Parking costs $3.25 per hour, so you'll have to pay that in order to park anywhere inside Stanley Park. I think it's worth the fee though. :)

Great place to check out some of the nicer views from Stanley Park. Parking is available in the lot up top. Unfortunately, it's not free. The point is actually made of 2 parts - the lighthouse below (which is only accessible from the Seawall), and the touristy part with the cafe up top. A short walk from the parking lot, is an overpass that crosses over the Stanley Park Causeway. This is where the best night shots of the Lions Gate Bridge can be taken, if one wants a shot from the middle of the road. There is also a lookout point (stairs warning) that goes partially down the hill, which provides a few vantage points overlooking Burrard Inlet, and a side view of the Lions Gate Bridge. I've heard the cafe there is a rip (just like anything non-free in this park), but wouldn't know.

Great spot for drinks and a relaxing view, service also very attentive and positive. However although presentation was nice, the food was subpar. We had the seafood platter which could not be considered fresh. The mussels and crab were bland, definitely frozen. For $49CAD, you could do much better. Recommended for a drink, but would save the seafood for another place!

What a nice gem at the end of a very long hike through Stanley Park. This restaurant felt like a little bit of heaven after a very long hike in the park. The bee tasted delicious and very cold, yes! I had the fish and chips and it was so good!! The breading was light and fluffy and the sauce was tasty! The waiter behind the bar which is where I sat was very nice and gave me an amazing service. He even offered some tips of to hike back with a quicker route. I would absolutely go back!

This place has three things going for it. The view. Pitchers of beer. Banana splits! Did you hear me, I said banana splits!! Drink two pitchers of beer, share a banana split and soak up the view. Now there's an afternoon.

Considering I'm a tourist (I live in Calgary), I wanted to do something tourist-y during my visit to Stanley Park. After hiking around one afternoon with no set destination, I found myself famished and desperate for food somewhere on Park. So I quickly pulled up Yelp on my phone and discovered that there was a cafe near Prospect Point, so I hightailed it over there. Located next to a tourist gift shop, Prospect Point Cafe, while a bit pricey in my opinion, had everything I was looking for. A reasonably-priced-for-what-it-is lunch menu, and a delicious looking dinner menu. I ended up having the Market Fish & Chips, which ended up being Salmon fish & chips. That's something I've never found in Calgary and figured it was something I'd only find near the coast. Salmon is my favourite fish, and this dish didn't disappoint. Meaty and hearty, it was scrumptious and plentiful. Sure, the meal cost about $25 but I was quite full by the end of it. The facility is clean, cozy, and has a nice view of the park. For what it is, I can't complain. If you're visiting the area, you should visit it at least once, if only for the atmosphere. But if you're looking for value for the dollar, I wouldn't be surprised if there were better options. 16/30

The remodel is much improved, the views and patio are fantastic. Still one of the best fish & chips in Vancouver- amazing. A must when visiting Stanley Park. Nice job.

Beautiful view, but terrible bland overpriced food, when they are even open. I wish we'd just brought a picnic lunch instead.

The Parisian sandwich and thin fries were ultra good. Best ham ever. Not salty and complex flavours, meaty. Too bad can't buy this anywhere unless imported. The French Onion Soup was well balanced. Rich, savory, the aroma draws you in, offset by the warmth from the spice. It is a soup that you can never get enough of. This was done very well. Duck Leg Cassoulet Stew had a great texture and flavour profile. Would have been nice if there is toast or baguette to go with it. Only criticism is it is awfully small for a main dish. And the duck leg is only half of what we normally get from a duck confit. Which was surprising.

Food is always on point ... with excellent presentation! Star items : French Onion Soup ... this alone can be the reason for me to drive here from Richmond! The rich broth is fully infused with the sweetness of caramelized onion, which blended seamlessly with the beef broth! Very hearty and I would indulge myself with extra cheese! Oh why not!? Braised Lamb Shank ... tender and very rich with the sauce that it was bath in ... the Chef was able to elevate this classic dish several levels up! Service is always attentive and friendly, too bad driving from Richmond limited my alcohol intake as I really love to try out more of their Cocktails!

And two weeks after i went to buy it again it was for $16.5!!!!!!!! It is a fruit purée that they import from Iran and just pack it in their own bags with their logos.I didn't buy it and told the seller that it is not fair, just in two weeks you almost doubled the price!!!! She was just an employee so she didn't know what to say and said it is because of the sanctions Iran is facing now,but It is not true. The sanction is affecting the goods's price in Iran because of the DOLLAR value which is stable for us. Anyway I bought the same brand from another Persian super market(same amount) $5.5. I will not recommend this shop and i will not buy anything from them anymore. I am truly sad that the people who were disappointed about the unfairness in Iran is doing the same here. Hope they can reflect on their way.
