This is after calling and visiting 3 other places that were supposedly open according to google, but actually decided to stay shut - likely because it had snowed fairly heavily. Anyway, I was lucky enough to get Elton on the phone who told me to come on in for my oil change and I got there 6 minutes later. First, he cleaned the snow off my car. Offered me a seat in the waiting room in the back of the shop. After fiddling on my phone for a bit, I decided to go and check on the status and just as I stood up off the chair Elton was walking in to let me know it was done. 15 minutes, maybe, for the oil change. Synthetic for a 2024 car - was $90. Reasonable. Not do it yourself cheap, but not outrageous either. Honestly, no appointment, weekend, bad weather, arrive and receive service immediately, friendly. I'm literally writing this immediately after leaving because they deserve the praise. Also, there was a beautiful.. I mean absolutely beautiful Chevrolet inside the garage, I'd guess from the 80's, but it could have been late 70. Heck, it could even have been early 90's, I have no idea. All I know is 20 years ago I'd call it a piece of junk but today I couldn't take my eyes off it. Funny how that happens. Anyway, I digress a second time. I brought my car in for light suspension work (less than an hour) and specifically asked that the…read morelug nuts be torqued back to the manufacturer's factory specs. Instead, the mechanic used an impact airgun to tighten them far beyond spec. When I checked after they released my car, the lug nuts were so over-torqued that I needed a breaker bar just to get them off. Because of the shop's use of the impact gun, three lug nuts were already damaged--including one that was brand new--and the remaining ones may have been weakened as well. This damage was caused directly by the improper use of the airgun. To make matters worse, the mechanic had an attitude the entire time and didn't want me to watch what he was doing while working on my car. That lack of professionalism and transparency, combined with poor workmanship, is very concerning. When I went back to raise the issue, Eric (the owner) told me they always use impact guns on every car and never use torque wrenches, adding that "shops around here don't use torque wrenches either." That statement alone is a serious red flag. Why this matters: Over-torquing lug nuts is not a small issue. It can: Damage or strip the nuts and studs, making future removal difficult or unsafe. Stretch or weaken wheel studs, risking catastrophic failure while driving. Warp brake rotors, leading to vibration and reduced braking performance. Leave you stranded--unable to replace a wheel in an emergency situation, since overtightened nuts can't be removed safely with standard tools. This shop's disregard for proper specifications, safety, and professionalism puts customers at risk. I strongly advise others to avoid bringing their vehicles here unless the shop changes its practices and begins following manufacturer standards.

The same day i tried taking it back to the shop and they told me to go back the next day. I called every day trying to go early, trying to get the problem fixed but it was always an excuse. Eventually i took it to a different mechanic and they told me that the part i "got replaced" was never replaced and showed me it was the old burnt out part. (it was a sensor, pressure switch B). Terrible terrible. Irresponsible
